Overhauling and servicing of split type ACs of capacity 1.5 TR at different locations of AF station by dismantling the internal & external units and component parts such as fan motor, blower, housing, filters etc., for cleaning and replacing worn out/ damaged parts including reassembling, connecting up and testing complete all as specified and directed. Tasks required to be carried out during overhauling/ servicing of Split-type AC: - (a) Inspection taking down, opening (dismantling) washing the condenser and cooling coil complete with chemical followed with pressurized water jet complete as required and cleaning with air blower and testing complete (b) Checking / examine operation of condenser, blower motor, cooling coil and checking the air circulation to ensure complete movement of working part trouble free (c) Inspection of leakage in system (cooling) and removal obstruction if any (d) Checking and correction earth continuity of electric items (e) Checking servicing thermostat and over load and other spares and test its functioning (f) Inspecting all electrical connection and remove if any defects (g) Checking servicing and greasing oiling of blower motor (h) Checking the functional of electronic remote-control unit to ensure satisfactory functioning of unit complete all as specified and as directed

(iv) Any break down of AC’s will be attended by the contractor within 24 hrs on receipt of complaints from MES through telephonic/written message.

Taking down split type AC up to 2 TR from existing location by dismantling indoor & outdoor units alongwith other connected accessories carefully and shifting the same to other location and re-installing dismantled units of split type AC at the locations as directed by Engineer-in-Charge including provision of new brackets (L type) clamps, GI nuts, bolts and washers etc., required for fixing of indoor/ outdoor units, making good disturbed surface and testing complete all as specified & directed. Note:- (i) PVC pipe protection/ drain pipe/ control cable, extra copper tubing of any size for suction/ discharge will be measured and paid separately. (ii) Gas charging if required will be measured and paid separately.

Material and labour for leak testing of split type AC of capacity 1.5/2 TR by dismantling indoor/ outdoor unit from installed position and arresting the leakages in condenser coil by brazing etc. including gas charging, re-fixing in same position and testing complete all as specified and directed. Note: Gas charging if any required will be measured and paid separately.

Supply and laying in replacement of refrigerant line copper tubing of size 5/8" with clamping on wall surface or concealed with both the ends connection as in repair complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge

Taking out AC Manager from position after by passing the power supply to split ACs, servicing the load manager for pro switching on/ off two Nos split ACs and re-fixing in same position complete all as specified and directed. Note: Spares shall be measured and paid separately.

Supply and fixing in replacement of copper condenser coil unit suitable for 1.5 TR window/ split type AC as per OEM's specification including charging of refrigerant gas R22 and welding/ bracing work etc., complete all as specified and directed. Note:- (i) Sealed new compressor unit supplied by the contractor shall be of same capacity existing as per site and also conform to OEM’s specification of existing make. (ii) The rate quoted deemed tobe included for the gas required.

S&F in repair fan motor suitable for existing deep freezer 310 ltr cap complete all as directed.

Repair/servicing of desert cooler of capacity upto 3000/4000 CFM by dismantling the fan, motor, pumps etc., including checking up/ rectification of wire connections, replacement unserviceable parts & accessories, cleaning of the water tank, replacement of piping system, khas pads, reassembling, connecting up and testing complete all as specified and directed. Note :- (i) Cost of spare parts replaced during the process of repair/servicing shall be measured and paid separately as supply only under relevant item herein after. (ii) Labour charges for replacement of spares parts if any required during repair/ servicing deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

Materials and Labour for servicing of Window type AC of capacity 1.5 TR by flushing condenser, cooling coil and refrigerant pipe line including complete removal of dust, dirt, bugs, grease, oil etc., brazing the leakages if any in connection pipes of compressor, condenser, cooling coil, pressure testing, checking for leaks, dehydrating and vacuumizing to the standard as per OEM's recommendations, charging of refrigerant as per OEM's recommendations and including testing and commissioning complete all as specified and directed. Note :- (i) Cost of spare parts replaced/ refringent gas refilling shall be measured and paid separately as supply only under relevant items herein after. (ii) Labour charges for replacement of spares parts if any required during servicing of AC’s deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

M&L for cleaning of the water cooler; cold water tank of storage of capacity upto 150 Liters by using PVC wire scrubber to remove dirt, scales from tank and washing the tank with bleaching powder to make the tank bacteria free and disposing off the rubbish/dirty water safely in low lying areas of defence land, writing “TANK CLEANED ON…..”(date), “DUE DATE ON…..(date) with 5 cm height x 5cm breadth size white letters on black back ground by engaging skilled artist using best quality synthetic enamel paint complete all as specified and directed. Note: Contractor has to maintain a register for cleaning of tank duly obtaining signature from user and Engineer-in-Charge for record.

Repairs to water cooler body, base frame with legs, door unit, storage tank, FHP motor base etc. of any capacity & make by cutting worn out / deteriorated portions of sheet steel and reconstructing body including providing ventilation grooves, hinges where required and steel storage tank to the existing shape and size using PGI sheet of 16 / 20 SWG as per the existing, necessary welding / bracing work to match with the existing surface, including all necessary items such as nuts, bolts, washers, drilling holes etc. and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint on the affected previously painted area using spray gun over a coat of red oxide primer matching with the existing tint & shade complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for servicing Refrigerators up to 165 Ltrs capacity complete with cleaning condenser coil with air blower, wet servicing of condenser coil unit with caustic soda etc, replacement of sheet metal screws wherever necessary, checking and rectifying the wiring defects, proper setting of thermostat & other electrical/ Refrigerent controls, connecting up all connections and testing all as directed.

Note: (i) Cost of spare parts replaced during the process of repair/servicing shall be measured and paid separately as supply only under relevant item herein after. (ii) Labour charges for replacement of spares parts if any required during repair/ servicing deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

Taking down ceiling fan carefully from any height of any size, type and make after disconnecting the electrical connections and refixing back after carrying out servicing/ overhauling/ painting/ rewinding works etc., including cleaning of surface with detergent and replacing the damaged rubber reel, nuts and bolts with washers and safety pins as required complete all as directed.

Taking down Exhaust fan carefully from any height of any size, type and make after disconnecting the electrical connections and refixing back after carrying out servicing/ overhauling/ painting/ rewinding works etc., including cleaning of surface with detergent and replacing the damaged rubber reel, nuts and bolts with washers and safety pins as required complete all as directed. Note for item No. 1 & 2: The cost of these items is deemed to be included only taking down, cleaning and refixing. The cost of servicing/ overhauling/ painting/ rewinding works etc., will be measured and paid separately under appropriate items.

Material and labour for transporting the unserviceable ceiling fans to local work shop opening the motor and taking out the old burnt out copper winding wire from the fan of 1200mm sweep and rewinding by using same gauge of copper wire insulating and varnishing including reassembling and testing complete all as directed.

Material and labour for transporting the unserviceable heavy duty exhaust fans to local work shop opening the motor and taking out the old burnt out copper winding wire from the fan of 300mm sweep and rewinding by using same gauge of copper wire insulating and varnishing including reassembling and testing complete all as directed.

Material and labour for painting of ceiling fans of size 1200/1400 mm sweep complete including down rod and blades with two coats of synthetic enamel paint by spray painting, filling cavities with filler materials such as metal paste etc, after cleaning all dust complete all as directed and writing MES No. with black enameled paint all as directed.

Material and labour for painting of exhaust fans of size 300 mm to 450 mm sweep complete including mounting frame and blades with two coats of synthetic enamel paint by spray painting, filling cavities with filler materials such as metal paste etc, after cleaning all dust complete all as directed and writing MES No. with black enameled paint all as directed.

Supply and fix in repair ball bearing suitable for ceiling fans 1200/ 1400mm sweep complete all as specified and directed.

Note:- The amount against the Schedule of Credit mentioned in the tender document shall be deducted from the total amount quoted against Sch 'A' while deriving the Contract Sum for Acceptance.
