Supply and install, testing and commissioning of diesel Engine driven generating set of 500 KVA capacity 3 phase, 4 wire, 415 V, 1500 RPM AC power supply with power factor 0.8 coupled directly to alternator mounted on a common base plate complete with integral acoustic enclosures (should have salient features) modular bolted construction, & pure polyester based coating to ensure long life in all weather conditions & for outdoor application / installation, integrated design thereby facilitating / easy handling. The design of integral acoustic enclosure should be approved by National Physical laboratory as per central pollution control board (CPCB) latest regulation / norms with fuel tank, battery & standard accessories, tools & spares as provided by manufacturer complete with necessary weather proof shead with MS pipe 80 mm dia for column and 40 mm dia MS pipe for beam and arms with CGI sheets and PCC foundations with block measonary work and plastering complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in charge with following specifications:- (A) ENGINE- Water cooled diesel engine of at 1500 RPM capacity to match the 500 KVA alternator under NTP conditions with provision of 10 % over load for 1 hour in every 12 hours running confirming to BS 5514/ IS 10001/ 10002 the Engine shall consist of the following :-

(B) BRUSH LESS ALTERNATOR (i) Alternator coupled to engine indigenous make through a flexible coupling mounted on sturdy steel fabricated base frame suitable for mounting on a permanent foundation brushless alternator shall be confirming to BS -2613 or relevant of IS-4722/ IS 13364 (ii) Type ;- Self excited self regulated with automatic voltage regulator . (iii) Rating :- 500 KVA at 0.8 PF lagging 4 pole horizontal at NTP condition . (iv) Speed;- 1500 RPM (v) System :- 415 V +/- 2.5 % AC 3 phase 4 wire 50 Hz. (vi) Connection :- 4 wire star connected . (vii) Enclosure ;- Screen protected drip proof . (viii) Ventilation :- Self ventilated. (ix) Insulation :- Insulation class H (C)CONTROL PANEL The control panel with aluminium bas bar, bottom entry and exit of cable, current transformer, set of control fuses, Multifunctional Meter, it should display time and date, Volts, Frequency, Current, KW, KWH, PF, RPM, Cumulative Run Hours, Oil Pressure, Coolant Temp, Charging current (DC Amp Meter). Emergency off, factory made floor mounted, totally enclosed, epoxy powder coated suitable for 500 KVA DG Set including all necessary operating controlled devices as stated above and MCCBs as out going with protection fuse for panel instruments duly wired with flexible copper conductor cable and cable connection with lugs/thimbles complete as per latest IS/BS complete all as specified and directed.

(D) ONE SET OF ACCESSORIES COMPRISING OF :- (a) Fuel tank -one No. fabricated with 3 mm thick MS sheet with necessary mild steel structure for mounting the tank higher than the DG set) with piping. Capacity of tank shall be to hold diesel sufficient for 16 hours running at full load, with following features (i) Level indicator. (ii) drain plug . (iii) MS class 'C' piping for inlet from pump to tank to engine. (iv) Fuel strainer. (v) Air vent. Material and labour for earthing complete with gavanised steel earth plate electrode 60 cm x 60 cm x 6.3 mm thick burried directly into ground ( earth pit not less than 2.25 Mtrs below gorund level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5mtr beolw normal ground level, connected to galvanised earth strip 32 x 6mm size upto a distance of 7.5 mtr long by means of bolts, check nuts and washers of galvnised iron or steel all as shown in electrical plate no 5 at SSR Part-I of 2009 connected to earthing test point all as specified and indicated and testing complete including execvation earth work drilling holes for electrode PCC pit & cover , funnel , water pipe , lugs etc. complete all as specified and directed by Engg in charge Note: Quoted rates shall be deem to include for earth wire with protection pipe up to 7.5 M length.

M & L For shifting of 320 KVA DG as following directed by engineer in charge:- 1. Dismantling of DG complete and its connected assessories( all tpes of cables, change over, panels , AMF Panels and switch gears) from its existing location with cranes and necessery tools and manpower. 2. Making of necessery platform with brick work and PCC for installation of DG set at location specified by engg -in-charge of 4 feet (2 feet underground and 2 feet above the ground) with necessary PCC sub base foundation and morrum filling in brick mesonary work etc 3. Shifting of DG complete and its connected assessories to New location with distance of 2 KM as directed. 4. Testing and commissioning of DG complete as directed by engineer in charge.

Excavation in trenches not exc 1.5 m wide and n.exc 1.5 m in depth for foundation / fixing pole / laying cable and pipe line etc or for man hole etc not exc 10 sqm on plan and getting out in soft / loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Returning filling in including spreading, levilling, watering and well ramming in layers, not exeecding 25 cm thick using excavated soil complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated Soil to a distence not exceeding 50 m and deposting where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for providing dry river sand as in sand cushioning to under ground electric cable including punning down of sand in layer complete all as specified and directed. Note: for measurement purpose punned thicness of sand only will be considered.

Supply and Laying burn brick size 225 mm X 113 mm X 75 mm etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Boring of holes under road pavement hard standing by trenchless technology using latest technique and necessary machine including laying / insetion of HDPE pipe ISI Marked of 150 mm dia complete all as specified and directed by Engg -in-Charge Note: All RCC / PCC work for boring of hole under the road crossing will be included in the scope of work .

Material & labour for GI steel tubing light grade for protection of cable/ earth continuty conductor fixed to poles/ walls/ roof or laid in floors, road, crossing or ducts fixed with clamps , bolts nuts and wahser etc complete all as specified and directed for following bore of pipes of size 80mm dia complete all as specified and directed.
