Excavation in trenches in soft / loose soil, not exc 1.5 m wide and n. exc 1.5 m depth or n exc 10 Sqm on plan & getting out, for laying of pipes, foundations etc. and getting out including triming and forming bottom surface complete, all as directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cms thick in soft / loose soil back in trenches after pipes have been laid and tested, complete all as directed.

Removing excavated materials to a distance not exc 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.5 m above the starting point in soils complete all as directed.

Supplying, Fixing/laying, jointing and testing and commissioning, LT under ground cables, 1100 Volts grade, XLPE insulated, armoured heavy duty electric cable with stranded aluminuim conductors, laid in trenches, ducts/fixed on poles/walls/laid under roads/paths/drains/culverts or encased in GI pipe complete all as specified and directed of following sizes:-

3.5 core 240 Sqmm NOTE :- (a) Excavation & earth work, shall be measured and paid for seprately under respective items of the BOQ. (b) GI pipe for laying of cable, sand cushioning, cable protection cover shall be measured and paid for seprately under respective items of the BOQ (c) Road cutting involved during excavation for laying of cables etc shall be made good as per existing road. Nothing extra shall be admissible on this account. Quoted rates of the item shall be inclusive of the above provisions.

Supply, laying, jointing and testing ductile iron pipe with socket and spigot ends class K9 of wall thickness not less than 6.0mm and working pressure 60kg/cm2 minimum complete all as specified and directed for following nominal diameter :-

S & F Galvanised steel tubing Light grade for protection of under ground cable on poles / walls/under road crossing/laid in trenches etc conforming to IS-1239 for following bore complete all as directed:-

80 mm bore (Note : Excavation & earth work shall be measured & paid separately under respective items of this Schedule).

S & F Galvanised steel tubing Heavy grade for protection of under ground cable on poles / walls/under road crossing/laid in trenches etc conforming to IS-1239 for following bore complete all as directed:-

150 mm bore (Note : Excavation & earth work shall be measured & paid separately under respective items of this Schedule).

M & L for dry sand cushioning to PVC under ground cable with screened and washed sand and punning to provide a required cover complete all as specified and directed. Note :- Thickness after punning shall be considered for payment.

M & L for brick protection for UG XLPE cable with sub class 'B' bricks, old size laid dry and flat abutting each other with gaps between adjacent brick 10mm with width equal to length of brick in trenches across the cable complete all as directed.

Supply, install, connecting and testing of sluice valve, class PN- 1.6 double flanged with CI body, wheel and brass spindle and nuts etc, non rising type IS-14846-2000 marked including jointing materials i.e. rubber gaskets, nuts, bolts etc. complete all as specified and directed complete of following sizes:-

Supply, install, connecting and testing cast iron non return (reflux) valve in repairs suitable for 150 mm dia pipe, heavy duty, flanged ends with gun metal seat, class PN 1.6, IS - 5312 marked including all jointing materials such as leather gasket, bolts nuts washers etc complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for ductile iron pipe fittings ISI marked like bends, tapers, tail pieces, tee, branch pieces (single/double) any type and angle/radius and straight connecting pieces complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing MS structural steel work in cross arms, bracings, supports, clamps and back plates fabricated (with drilled holes hot and cold etc) from channel/angle iron sections of various size and shape FI clamps (full, half 'D' and earth clamp etc) including necessary MS bolts, nuts, washer etc and painting with two coats of aluminium paint over one coat of red oxide primer complete all as directed.

M&L for pre-cast cement concrete block masonry 1:3:6 Type C-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate with solid blocks, exc. 10 cm in width and setting in cement mortar 1:4, complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for brick work with sub-class 'B' bricks of size one brick thick honey comb walls built in cement mortar 1:6 complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for rendering 15mm thick in CM 1:6 on fair faces of brick masonry surfaces or on concrete surfaces finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as directed.

S&F FRP solution preparetion tank with lid, port hole, inlet / outlet / drain connection, level gauge etc and fitted with speed reducing motor & SS-316 agitator combined with dosing tank with lid, port hole, inlet / outlet / drain connection, level gauge & dosing motors (equiv RC 11) . etc. Preparetion tank - 170 ltrs, Dosing tank - 100 ltrs complete all as specified and directed.

S & F double compression copper stainless steel gland for fixing armoured cable in panel of size 240 to 300 Sqmm, 3.5 core complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, install, testing and commissioning of Horizontal multistage pump suitable for pumping clear water, 1480 rpm, discharge capacity 68.18 Cubic Meter/hour at a head of 155 metre, number of stages 11 Nos, casing of pump CI FG 260 and impeller of CI FG 260 of rated diameter 270mm, shaft made out of Carbon Steel (wrought), IS-1570 (Part-II) Gr 40 C8, shaft sleeves made out of SS 410, type of packing : Mechnical seal packed, Base plate : MS fabricated, pump input (bkw)-51.36 kW, coupled with totally enclsoed fan cooled, squireel cage induction motor of 75 KW rating, 1480 rpm, 50 Hz effeciency Class IE-2, suitable for Star/Delta starting including motor starter compaitable for motor complete all as specified and directed. Note : LT cable for connection of motor from panel,Foundation required PCC & fabricated structural steel sections like, channel, angle iron, clamps, back plates by welding, bending cold or hot, drilling holes for bolts, in any shape or size as indicated or directed including nuts, bolts, washers and inclusive of one primer coat of red oxide zinc chrome, one under coat and one finishing coat of heat resistant synthetic enamel paint complete is inclusive of above all as specified and directed.

M & L for earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate 60 cm X 60 cm X 6 mm thick buried vertically in ground to depth not less than 2.25 metres deep below ground level, with top edge of earth plate not less than 1.5 m below ground level, connected to galvanized iron strip 32x6mm earth lead by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanized iron or steel besides welding at all joints as shown in drawing and including excavation and earth work, GI pipe light grade 40mm bore for protection of earth wire and connected to continous earth lead on pole/test point, supplying and laying charcoal dust common salt PCC 1:2:4 type B1, chamber and MS angle iron frame 40x40x3mm and RCC cover 40mm thick (1:2:4) type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate reinforced with 6mm dia round bars @ 75mm C/C both ways with MS handle 12mm dia, PGI/CI funnel and wire mesh, 20mm dia GI pipe medium grade for watering all as shown in electrical plate No 5 on srl page No 497 of SSR Part I (2009) drawing and connection to earth test point including testing and including dismantling and taking out old earthing complete all as specified and directed. Note : (i) The cost of earth lead /strip and GI pipe for protection of earth lead/strip upto 7.5m is included in the quoted rate. (ii) The cost of excavation, earth work is included in the quoted rate.

Demolition of existing unserviceable valve pit and Construction of brick masonary valve pit chamber 900x900x900mm (internal dimension) with bricks, old size, built in CM 1:4, PCC 1:4:8, type D-2 as in foundation concrete bed/ floor, coping and 10mm thick rendering in CM 1:4 on internal and exposed external surfaces, external plaster shall be upto 15 cm below ground level and mixed with water proofing compound @ 3% by weight of cement with and including MS cover 03 mm thick MS sheet welded with 40x40x6 mm size angle iron frame fixed to top of valve pit by means of hold fast 150mm long, embedded in PCC 1:2:4 type B1, with locking arrangements including excavation and earth work in soft/loose soil, painting sheet surfaces with two coats of anti corrsive paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as shown on drawings, specified and directed. Note : (i) Drg No AF/TD/240/15 Sheet 1/2 and 2/2. (ii) Valve pit shall be Type 'A' but size shall be as mentioned above.
