Excavating in trenches not exceeding 1.5 m wide and not exceeding 1.5 m in depth; for foundation, etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc. or for cable laying or not exceeding 10 sqm on plan and not exceeding 1.5 m in depth and getting out in hard/dense soil complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for Providing precast cement concrete in window or door cills, lintels, bressumers, steps, quoin blocks (for use with ma sonry), string courses, copings. kneelers, apex stones, pier caps, columns, posts, boundary pillars, bed plates, pintle blocks, ancho-rage blocks, bonders (for stone wallin). corbels, brackets, etc. (of any section indicated), with plain fair faces, including cham fers, weatherings, throat- ing etc. and setting in mortar complete with joints to match 1:2:4 type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregates complete all as specified and directed.

Materials and Labour for waterproofing treatment to existing RCC roof in the following steps complete all as specified and directed. (i) Providing 15 mm thick screed bed or bedding layer of cement mortar (1:4), mixed with liquid water proofing compound as per manufactures instructions, over slab when concrete is still green (Curing of slab with ponding with water shall be done for a period of 72 Hours (ii) Waterproofing treatment over smooth finished surfaces after application of bituminous primer @ 0.40 ltrs per sqm over prepared surfaces of roof including parapet surfaces confirming to IS : 3384 (primer and membrane to be used shall be same manufacturer) prime shall be brand of Shalitex of STP or EmufalTE of M/s Texa Indian Ltd or cold stick bitumen primer of M/s IWL or equivalent make. (iii) providing and laying APP polymer, modified, non-woven polyester fabric of 150 grams/square metre, reinforced membrane, 3.00 mm thick, weighing 3.60 Kg / Sq M, by torch on application method, with minimum 75 mm overlap on longitudinal direction and 100 mm overlap on the transverse direction and Make of APP Membrane : M/s Fosroc./M/s Texsa India Ltd./M/s IWL India Ltd/M/s STP 3. APP membrane shall be laid and tested by the manufacturer deploying their own team under strict supervisionand Leak proof testing with ponding with water shall be done for 72 hours in presence of user representative and report shall be submitted. Requisite 10 years guarantee certificate from manufacturer along with contractor’s certificate required to be furnished after successfully completion of testing. The submission of both certificate is mandatory before issue of completion certificate.

Use and waste of form work to sides of concrete foundations, footings, bases of columns, raft and raft beams, sided and soffits of plinth beams and similar works; vertical or to batter for rough finished surfaces of concrete, flat, complete all as specified and directed.

Use and waste of form work to sides of pillars, posts, struts, piers, columns and stanchions for fair finished surfaces of concrete, square, rectangular or polygonal, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply & Fixing for rolled mild steel Plates (plain or chequered) channels, square cut or notched (ordinary and counter sunk) forming holes, with out any attachment conforming to Fe:410-W(Gde-E-250 ) quality-A complete all as specified and directed.

S&F Mild steel screw bolts diameter of neck from 11 to 15 mm (machine made) with hexagonal or square heads at one end and screwed the other, or screwed both ends, each screwed end to be fitted with washers and one hexagonal or square nut, n exc 5cm long all as specified.

Supply and fix mild steel TMT bars 10 mm dia. and over, cut to length, bend to shape required including cranking, bending spirally for hopping for columns, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9 mm dia. or securing with clips and including welding has to be done with minimum 20 cm over lap for new and old of any height. Complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fix mild steel TMT bars 5 mm dia. and over up to and including 10 mm dia. in stirrups, spacers, binders etc. cut to length, bend to shape required including cranking, hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9 mm dia. or securing with clips complete all as specified and directed.

(iv) Contractor has to clear the side and disposed off the excavated soil from pit on completion of work. (v) Contractor has to submit test report of earthing after completing the earthing. (vi) Bentonite clay should be Conf to IS 6186: 1986. (vii) The cost of Copper strip of size 20X3 mm from top of earth plate upto 7.5 meter above ground level is deemed to be included in the unit rate of above item.and copper strip beyond 7.5 RM will be measured seperately. (viii). All the joints in copper strip and connection with Earth Plate to be welded through brazing and in addition by proving brass nut bolt and washer are deemed to be included in the unit rate. (viiii) Cost of brazing / welding and nut bolts are deemed to be included in the unit rate. (ix) Cost includes removal of excavated soil upto a distance of 100 mtrs.
