REPAIR REPLACEMENT OF LIGHTENING CONDUCTORS ALLIED WORKS IN OVER HEAD TANK AND HIGH RISE BUILDING UNDER AOR OF GE(SOUTH) BANGALORE

Excavation in trenches n exc 1.5 mtr wide and n exc 1.5 mtr in depth for taking up/down the GI strip and getting out in soft loose soil complete all as specified and directed .

Returning filling in incl spreading, leveling watreing and well ramming in layers n exc 25cm each in soils all as directed.

Taking down old unserviceable air termination rod any size any capacity

Supply and fixing air termination single pointed copper rod not less than 12mm dia and 300mm long incl fixing of GI base on epoxy insulators of suitable size to isolate from the roof and fixing of insulators on roof over the purlin using self tapping screws of suitables length or other means to make the roof leakage proof for fixing of air terminal rod and connecting with down/roof conductors complete all as directed.

Taking down old unserviceable copper \ aluminum strip any size any capacity

Supply and fixing Copper strip of size 20x3.15 mm incl epoxy/porcelain insulators of suitable size , distance between insulators not more than 1mtr including fixing screws washers etc complete for

(a) On steel sheet roof/Clading over the steel purlin using self tapping screws of suitable length GI washers , rubber washers etc to make leakage proof all as sirected.

Fixing only of strip any size , steel sheet roof/Clading over the steel purlin using self tapping screws of suitable length GI washers , rubber washers etc to make leakage proof all as sirected.

Taking down old unserviceable test point any capacity any size

Supply and fixing test point terminal block made of gun metal or phospphorus bronze size 75x75x25mm drilled and screws end connected to existing aluminium /GI strips complete incl 3 Nos 8 mm dia 25mm long hex head screw complete and incl 3 nos fixing of test point with sheet metal enclosure on insulators to isolate from the walls , fixing of insulators on wall using suitable size of screws washers, gutti .rawal plugs etc including making good to distrubded surfaces complete all as specified.

Material and labour for earthing complete with Copper plate electrode 60×60cm.× 3.15 m thick, burried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 metres deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 metres below normal ground level, connected to copper strip 20x3 mm strip by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanised iron or steel all as shown in electrical plate No. 3 connected to earthing test point all as specified or indicated including testing on completion and washers of GI connected to earth test point including necessary earth work excavation in any type of soil PCC chamber in 1:3:6 type C1 , RCC cover 1:2:4 type B1 550mm x550mmx50mm thick reinforced with 8mm dia TMT bars at 150mm C/C both ways , 2 Nos lifting hooks of 10mm dia and all as specified and or indicatded including testing on completion all as specified and directed. (for OH tanks)

Note :- Rate of Copper strip upto 7.5 mtrs is included in this item and Copper Strip beyond 7.5 mtrs shall be measured and paid seperatley.

Taking down old wire any size any capacity

Supply and fixing PVC insulated, PVC sheathed cable galvanised steel strip or wire armoured, electric control cables (Heavy duty) with stranded copper conductor of size 1.5 Sqmm x 3 core, 1100 volts grade complete.

Supply and fixing in replacement fixing Rigid PVC conduit 20MM (junction/terminal) but inclusive boxes of all tees,bends,elbows,reducers,bell mouth tube ends and fixing accessories such as couplers,lock nuts,saddles,pipe hooks etc.

Taking down old aviation light any type any capcity

Supply and fixing single phase 230 Volt LED avaiation lights for high rise Bldg/OH tanks including suitable rod clamps nut bolt etc all as specified and directed.

S&F in repairs sheet metal enclosure single door 2 way complete all as specified and as directed.

S & F in repairs MCB SPN 40 Amps, 240 Volts

Earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 60cm x 60cm x 6mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 mtrs deep below ground level) with top edge of the earth plate at a depth of not less than 1.5 mtr below ground level connected to galvanized iron wire 4 mm as earthing lead by means of bolts, nuts and washers made out of GI/steel earth strip protected by GI light grade pipe of 40 mm dia and connecting to main panel board/switch board/control board all shown in electrical plate No 3 of SSR Pt I incl PCC chambers in 1:2:4 and RCC cover slab with 8mm dia TMT bars reinforced at 10 cm center to center both ways incl earth work like excavation, returning filling back disposal etc complete.

Supply and fixing air termination single pointed aluminium rod not less than 12mm dia and 300mm long incl fixing of GI base on epoxy insulators of suitable size to isolate from the roof and fixing of insulators on roof over the purlin using self tapping screws of suitable length or other means to make the roof leakage proof for fixing of air terminal rod and connecting with down/roof conductors complete all as directed.

Supply and fixing in replacement fixing Aluminium strip of size 25x3.15 mm incl epoxy/porcelain insulators of suitable size , distance between insulators not more than 1mtr including fixing screws washers etc complete for

(a) Fixing on steel sheet roof/Clading over the steel purlin using self tapping screws of suitable length GI washers , rubber washers etc to make leakage proof all as sirected.

(Fixing only in repair of strip any size steel sheet roof/Clading over the steel purlin using self tapping screws of suitable length GI washers , rubber washers etc to make leakage proof all as sirected.

Earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 60cm x 60cm x 6mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 mtrs deep below ground level) with top edge of the earth plate at a depth of not less than 1.5 mtr below ground level connected to galvanized iron strip 25 x 4 mm as earthing lead by means of bolts, nuts and washers made out of GI/steel earth strip protected by GI light grade pipe of 40 mm dia and connecting to main panel board/switch board/control board all shown in electrical plate No 3 of SSR Pt I incl PCC chambers in 1:2:4 and RCC cover slab with 8mm dia MS bars reinforced at 10 cm center to center both ways incl earth work like excavation, returning filling back disposal etc complete. (For High rise Bldgs opposite SSB )

All as per Item No- 22 Ditto, but using galvanised iron strip 32×6mm as earthing lead (For High rise Bldgs GTE & Marshal BK)

S & F GI tubing medium grade galvanised 25mm with all fitting fixing on wall

Material & Labour for PCC 1:3:6 type C1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) as in coping for poles etc with necessary formwork complete all as specified and directed.

Material & Labour for cement concrete type B-1, 1:2:4 (20mm graded stone aggregate) sub floor sub base etc. complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in replacement broken earthing pit coarse fabricated out of cement concrete having ratio 1:3:6 type C-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate including CI pit cover 10mm thick hinged to CI frame including earth wire , excavation round as reqd at site and disposal of existing earthing pit cover to appropriate dumping location complete all as specified in SSR Part-I and directed by Engr in Charge .

M&L for Breaking road, pavement, hard standing, tiles of any type, including excavation of subbase, soil upto the depth of 0.60 mtr and width 0.45 mtr by mechanical means for fault finding in electric cables and including making good to the disturbed surfaces matching with existing after rectification of fault including removal of surplus material to nearby dumping point complete all as specified and directed by Engr-In-Charge. Note:(i) Any T&P required for work is deemed to be included in quoted rates. (ii) Tiles, cement concrete etc. required for making good is deemed to be included in quoted rates.
