THRUSTER REPAIR WORKS FOR THE VESSEL SAMUDRA SARVEKSHAK AT CMSRU

E-26004.1 AFT THRUSTERS #1 AND #2 OVERHAULING- SCHOTTELLIPS, AFT THRUSTER Type: S 502/502 ZSCP Work to carry out the job under supervision of Wartsila Service Engineer SCOPE OF WORK: 1) LGB system oil to be drained. 2) LGB for Both the Aft Thrusters are to be removed from place and shifted to Yard workshop. 3) Overhauling of LGBs to be carried out. Various clearances and tolerances to be checked and adjusted. Gear teeth contact profile to be checked. 4) LGBs to be assembled with new "Wartsila Propeller Shaft Seal with Unnet Ring". 5) LGB to be shifted to dock and fitted in place. 6) System oil to be taken and functional checks to be carried out. 7) Four nos. new rope cutters (knives) on each thrusters are to be machined and fitted. Total no. of rope cutters- 16. Vendor to procure the material and carry out necessary machining.

E-26004.2 UPPER GEAR BOX INSPECTION:- Internal inspection of UGBs OF THRUSTER #1, and #2 to be carried out under supervision of Wartsila Service Engineer. SCOPE OF WORK: a) Pipe connections/mountings of UGB to be removed. b) UGB to be disconnected from the floating shaft. c) Gear teeth contact profile to be checked. d) Necessary clearances/tolerances to be checked. e) Pipe connections for the UGB to be made and oil taken in the system."

E-26005 BT #3& #4 LOWER GEAR BOX OVERHAULING SCHOTTELLIPS, BOW THRUSTER Type: S 502 LSVCP Vendor to carry out the job under supervision of Wartsila Service Engineer SCOPE OF WORK: 1) LGB system oil to be drained. 2) LGB for Both the Aft Thrusters are to be removed from place and shifted to Yard workshop. 3) Overhauling of LGBs to be carried out. Various clearances and tolerances to be checked and adjusted. E-26006 KORTZ NOZZLE PRESSURE TESTING (ALL 04 THRUSTERS) – For all four thrusters Kortz Nozzles are to be drained, cleaned & inspected. All the nozzles are to be pressure tested and float coated. Float coating material will be part of vendor scope

E-26007 THRUST BLOCKS (ALL 04 THRUSTERS) – Four nos. thrust blocks for each of the four thrusters are to be inspected, overhauled & adjusted. Job to be done from inside DB tank. Reamed bolts to be loosened and retightened with torque wrench to correct torque. The job includes- a) To open 4 nos. manholes covers of the closed tank. b) To remove 4 nos. thrust block covers (300 X 100 mm). c) Overhauling of the thrust blocks to be carried out. Sealing O-rings to be renewed. e) To refit the thrust block covers with 4 bolts each using Loctite & the manhole covers in position. NOTE: This job is to be carried out only after due consultation with Wartsila Service Engineer.

E-26008.1 INSPECTION/RENEWAL OF PROPELLER BLADES FOR All 04 THRUSTERS- NOTE: Job to be carried out under the supervision of Wartsila Service Engineer. 04 Nos. blades on all four thrusters to be checked and blade tip clearances to be recorded. Blades to be replcaed with new/reconditoned blades with new O-rings. The blade foot to be machined as per the instructions of the OEM. After completion of the fitment, blade tip clearance to be taken again. Foot skimming is part of vendor scope.

E-26009 THRUSTER AUXILIARY PUMPS: Aft Thrusters #1 & #2, Bow Thrusters #3 & #4: 02 in nos. LGB Pumps, 04 in nos. Pitch Pumps and 01 in no. UGB Pumps are to be overhauled. 04 in nos. Azimuth Power Pack Pumps are to be overhauled.

PROCUREMENT & RENEWAL OF OEM SERVICE KITS: Service kits for elow mentioned Thruster Pumps (04 LGB Pumps, 08 Nos. Pitch Pumps, 02 Nos. UGB Pumps and 08 Nos. Azimuth Power Pack Pumps) including Lip seals, O-Rings, Bearings, Bushes and Coupling Pads are to be procured and renewed by the vendor. Specifications of Pumps:
