Transportation of Position Light Shunt Signal complete with post, units, bases and other fittings; excavation of pit, casting of concrete foundation (1 : 3 : 6) as per Drg. No. CON/SK/T/13, complete fittings of signal including termination of cables, wiring, focusing and testing. SAIL. will supply position light shunt signal with base from store. Tenderer shall supply all other materials required for the work.
Transportation & fixing of Calling On Signals/ dependent shunt signals with marker for multiple aspect colour light signals on the erected signal posts complete with marker including termination of cables, wiring, signal testing, and focussing. SAIL. will supply only calling-on-signal/dependent shunt signal with off-set bracket from stores. Tenderer shall supply all other materials required for the work.
Transportation of signal posts for multiple aspect color light signals, complete with signal units, bases, ladders and other fittings, excavation of pit, casting of cement concrete foundation, plastering as per Drg.No Con/SK/T/12, erection and fixing of complete fittings of the 2/3/4 aspect signal/signal posts including termination of cables, wiring, LED fixing, signal testing and focusing. Name plate & marker and all other materials shall be provided by the contractor at his own cost. Required cement shall be supplied by the contractor. Arrangement of Screening to be provided by the contractor if required as instructed by site Engineer. Contractor shall prepare jointly with SAIL. Engineer at site and submit Signal Sighting report and Signal test report as per approved format of SAIL.
Transportation and fixing of Junction Type Route Indicator (1 to 6) way complete/stencil Type/Multilamp type route indicator on the erected signal post including cable termination, wiring, painting, lettering, signal testing, and focusing, Tenderer shall supply name plate & marker and iron mesh (if required) at his own cost.
Fixing of route Indicator/Shunt LED in units, LED type lamp unit with current regulator in illuminated marker/route indicator unit. This includes taking the cable inside the unit, fixing of current regulator etc., complete wiring, fitting of terminals, LED signal lamps, and dismantling of existing lamps and fittings as required. The painting and lettering of existing markers and numbering plate to be done by enamel paint. All materials including PVC wires, blanking stretcher, PVC flexible pipe, hylum strip (6 mm thick), terminals and all sundry materials are to be supplied by the contractor. SAIL. will supply LED Units.

Transportation, excavation of pit, casting of foundation, plastering and erection of Steel Apparatus case (full size) with fixing of E-Type lock, wiring, cable entry, termination clamping, filling cable pit with sand, painting and lettering etc., as per Drg.No. S&T/CON/SK/16. This includes earth work and/or masonry work required for securing the apparatus case as per site condition. SAIL. will supply apparatus case with 'E' type lock only. Tenderer will supply all wiring materials, PBT Terminals, fuses, fuse blocks, bus bars, hylum sheet ISI mark [6mm thickness], wood plank board of good quality [minimum 3/4" thick], Cement and transport all the materials to site of work at his own cost. Transportation, installation, wiring, testing and commissioning of RKT on 20 mm pre-laminated, BWP, termite proof, borer proof plywood (on a 12 mm Hylum sheet ISI Mark) of size 300 mm X 400 mm X 12 mm per RKT, including termination of cable/indoor wire, LED, push buttons etc. SAIL will supply only RKT. Transportation, installation of point machine on MS plate fixed on wooden/psc/steel sleeper complete with fixing of anti theft arrangement, 'D' Bracket, junction boxes, connection including smithy works involved for ground connection, including rivetting/welding of angle cleats, termination of cables. Preliminary adjustment for operation of points by crank handle. oiling, greasing, painting and lettering as required. This also includes supply and fixing telescopic arrangement using GI pipes of required dia for provision of wires from junction box to point machine. SAIL. will supply point machine, ground connection from stores. Tender shall supply all other materials required for the works.The contractor shall overhaul the point machine before installation.
Wiring and testing of electric point machine as per the wiring diagram supplied by theSAIL. This also includes the connection of complete ground connections of electric point machine and fixing of insulation materials and providing one number of seven lever [7 levers] Godrej lock with three keys each, per machine for outside cover, fixing arrangement of crank handle interlocking in point machine, and fixing of 'E' type lock [if required]. SAIL will supply electric point machine, ground connections with insulations and junction boxes. Tenderer shall transport the materials issued bySAIL. to the site of work at his own cost and shall also supply materials such as PVC wire for wiring, one number of Godrej (7 Levers) lock with three keys each per lock, per point machine, and any other materials that are required for installation, wiring, testing and commissioning of the said work at his own cost. Also Preparation of point parameter history records and maintenance register duly recording the measurements in prescribed format jointly with SAIL. representative and handover all records to the SAIL.
Supply, transportation, erection, and grouting of Composite Relay Racks / Relay Racks / CT racks as per Drg.No. SK/DRG/OL/SER/192, SH-1/2 (for Composite Relay Racks), Drg.No. SK/DRG/OL/SER/192, SH-2/2 (for Relay Racks) and Drg.No. S&T/CON/HQ/VSKP/95/92 (for CT Racks) respectively, including fixing of racks, PBT terminals 1-Way/6-Way, ND Fuses, Bus Bars, Eyelets, Hylum strips of required thickness [12 mm] as per length required at site, condensers and resistances etc., wherever required as per directions of Site Engineer. Inspection of Composite Racks / Relay racks/CT racks by Representative ofSAIL. before use. Tenderer shall supply all the materials from RDSO approved sources such as PBT terminals 1-Way/6-Way, ND Fuses, Fuse blocks, Bus Bars, Eyelets, Hylum strips (12 mm thicknessn ISI Mark) condensers and resistances etc., and any other materials required for the work at his own cost.
Supply, transportation and fixing of MS ladder with suitable clamping arrangement & associated masonary and smithy work in Relay room, equipment room, Battery room, Goomties and cabins etc. The MS ladder should be made of 1" X 1" (1/8"/3 mm thickness) and MS flat size of 1" wide X 1/8" / 3 mm thickness. MS flat shall be provided at every 8"apart. Width of ladder shall be 8". Tenderer shall supply all materials for this work. Inspection By representative of SAIL. before use. [RM=Running Meter]
Wiring and testing of complete Relay Rack / CT Rack / Composite Relay Rack as per wiring diagram for maximum number of plug in type relay & shelf type relays of different sizes or as directed by SAIL Engineers at site. This includes rack to rack wiring through MS ladder fixed on the top of the relay rack, crimping eyelets in the terminals fitted in the cables termination rack, numbering by ferrules 2.5 sq. mm, bunching of wires by bunching Tape/Thread and buttons, painting and lettering as required. Wiring of the racks shall be done with PVC wire of size 16/0.2 mm and 3/0.75 mm. Tenderer shall supply all wires & wiring materials purchased from RDSO approved sources. Note: 1) Only relay and relay bases will be supplied by the SAIL.. Contractor has to supply all other materials for the above work and make arrangement for transportation of materials supplied bySAIL. at his own cost. 2) Only brass screws shall be used for fixing of relay bases. 3) All types of wires and wiring materials, eyelets of sizes (make: Dowell's or similar), ferrules (2.5 sq.mm), resin core solder, insulating tape, bunching belt & buttons etc. are to be supplied by the contractor. Wires will be procured from RDSO approved sources only and all other components will be supplied by the contractor as per requirement at site.
Excavation of trenches of following depth and width 0.3 Meter detailed below including clearing of roots and trees etc. for all types of soil. This work also includes covering of cables laid in trench and backfilling, ramming, consolidation of soil as well as disposal of extra soil after cable is laid as specified in Guidelines on Signalling Cable laying given by RDSO and any latest circular issued by Railway Note: Before refilling of the trenches, the cable laid are to be tested and recorded for its insulation value and after satisfaction of site Engineer the refilling process should start and after monsoon the route is to be attended for backfilling the rain cuts, wash out of soils where ever found.

Excavation of trenches in all kinds of soils including soft rocky area and clearing of track etc. to a depth of 1.0 M and width of 0.3 M for track crossing /pucca road/level crossing gate/platform/station circulating area or any other place as advised by site Engineer including transportation and laying of DWC/RCC/Split RCC/G.I. pipes with or without coupler. This includes repairing of track/pucca road/level crossing gate/ platform/station circulating area surface to original position by ramming and concreting wherever required soon after the work is over. DWC/RCC/GI pipes shall be supplied by the SAIL.. DWC pipes wherever required shall be supplied in 6 Mtr. length and shall be cut to size as per requirement. All other materials including cement are to be supplied by the contractor.
Excavation of trenches including clearing of roots of trees etc., in rocky area up to a depth to be indicated by SAIL Engineer at site as per the site condition [Minimum 0.6 meter] and width 0.3 Mts. at the bottom. This includes concreting & plastering as per the instructions of site Engineer and complete back filling by digging earth from a lead of 30 Mtr. In case 0.8 meter depth or higher is achieved no concreting is required, otherwise concreting up to 100 mm thickness should be done. All materials required for the above works shall be supplied by the Contractor.
Cutting of masonary floor/walls at station building/ signal goomty/ Gate lodge at a depth of 0.5 mtr. to 1.0 mtr at places to be indicated by site Engineer for entering of cables inside the building. Only G.I pipes supplied by SAIL. and all materials as clamps, bolts & nuts as instructed by site Engineer supplied by tenderer. This includes repairing of masonary floors/walls after the cables are taken inside. Cement, Sand required for the work shall be supplied by the tenderer and also transportation of G.I Pipe from Store by the tenderer.
Laying of Signalling/4 Quad/ 6 Quad/ Power Cable/Telecom cables/ Jelly filled cables of all sizes in excavated trench, through GI/RCC/DWC pipes etc. wherever required. This includes transportation of cables from the stores to work site and transportation of empty cable drums with left over cables from site to the stores. The length of cable laid includes the length of cable coil for termination purpose. NOTE: The cables are to be carefully handled during loading, un-loading and transportation to work site. Any damage found in the cable after final testing, in view of mishandling of cables, shall be made good by the Tenderer. Cable should be maggered before and after laying and recorded in a register and submitted to the site Engineer.
Transportation, laying of all sizes of split double walled corrugated (DWC) pipes in the cable trench parallel to track or as advised by site engineer.
Trenching and fixing of G.I. pipes of different sizes/DWC pipes in hard rocky area up to a depth of 0.3 M to 0.6 M or at places as per instruction of site Engineer and concreting [1 : 3 : 6] up to height of 100 mm above the pipes. G.I. pipes with the socket/ DWC pipes shall be supplied by the SAIL. All other materials required for the works shall be supplied by the contractor. Note: [1] In case of girder bridges, G.I. pipes shall be suitably clamped by the contractor as advised by the site Engineer. Clamps shall be supplied by the contractor. [2] The work including excavation of trenches in hard rock area up to a depth of 0.3 M to 0.6 M and back filling, ramming after completion of work where ever required. [3] In case of concrete bridges clearing of ballast for laying of pipes and re arranging the SAIL ballast after completion of work shall be done by the contractor.
Transportation of HDPE pipe from the store to work site, laying of the same (With 4 mm nylon rope, pre inserted inside the HDPE pipe) in excavated trench/ already laid GI/ RCC pipe / tubes, jointing, leveling and end sealing the pipes, HDPE pipe, couplers and end caps shall be supplied by SAIL. Nylon rope shall be supplied by the contractor.
Transportation of OFC from the store of to work site with care, and pushing/ pulling OFC through the HDPE pipes sealing of the duct by simple plugs. The cable is to be laid by mechanised means. At inaccessible places where mechanised laying is not possible, the cable is to be laid manually by pulling through pre inserted rope. Empty cable drums with or without leftover cable should be returned to the store. This also includes testing of cable drums by OTDR in the store premises before transportation and submission of results thereof.
Transportation and jointing (straight through and derivation) of PIJF/quad cables size TSF-IV as per Specn No. IRS: TC-31/96 & IRS 30/97. Jointing kits shall be supplied by the SAIL. All other materials shall be supplied by the tenderer.
End to end testing of all fibers of the optical fiber cable between station/ cable huts. This includes submission of test results in 4 copies as detailed in the technical specifications to be collected from the SAIL.
Cable Duct behind the Relay room and Goomties of size 1.8 M x1.8 M x 1.2 M to keep cables entering into it consisting of brick work of 254 mm thickness of proportion 1:6 with sand filling after coiling of cables. The top of sand filling covered with concreting of size 1.30 M x1.30 M and a depth of 200 mm of proportion 1 : 1.5 : 3 outside of the duct should be plastered with cement mortar 1 : 6 to achieve smooth finishing. All materials including cement and chips of size 40mm. and second class bricks etc. to be supplied by the contractor.
Excavation of cable joint pit of size 1m x 1mx 1.2m in all types of soil for jointing of copper cables, back filling and ramming after jointing.
Supply, transportation and Installation of 10/20/50 pair Aluminium CT Box and termination of cables inside C.T. Box in station building cabin/office/quarters as per instructions of site Engineer. All materials like C.T. Box shall be supplied by the contractor at his own cost. Inspection by representative of SAIL. This also includes painting and lettering of description.
Installation of lightening arrestor Class A device on the top of the building. the devices shall be installed at the height of about 3 mts from the roof of building using a G.I. pipe. The device shall be connected to the earth pit using the copper tape 25mmx1.5mm or better the copper tape shall be run firmly along the side of the mast with the help of the spacers. It shall also be ensured that this down conductor shall not touch the building through out. The down conductor should be connected to the separate earth electrode as per Railway Board guidelines using exothermic welding. A counter shall be installed at an appropriate place to count the no of occurrences. All the accessories like spacers, welding material etc required for the installation shall be arranged by the contractor only. The installation of Lightning Arrestor should done by authorised representative of OEM.
Alteration of wiring in existing apparatus cases full/half. This includes supply of all materials in connection with alteration in wiring. All the materials shall be supplied by the contractor at his own cost. This includes entry of cables, sand filling and masonry work involved. Lettering and painting to be done by the contractor at his own cost. Railway shall supply only relays and relay bases.
Wiring and fixing, of Surge Protection Devices complete with all accessories, fixture as per the following description. SAIL. will supply only SPD and all other materials required for the works shall be supplied by the contractor.

Transportation, Installation, wiring, testing and commissioning of Data Logger system 1024 digital input and 64 analog input as per specification No.IRS:S-99/2006 or latest at station and goomtys. This includes (i) Changes in design of Data Logger for installation in Electronic interlocking station (ii) Wiring and testing of protocol converter unit for EI station (iii) Modification in software and hardware if required and networking with other data loggers along with fault logic design. (iv) Wiring of all external relays to Data Logger as per RDSO guide lines.
Installation, Transportation, testing, Commissioning & Networking of RTU-Data logger 64/128 digital inputs & 16 Analog inputs as per RDSO Spec No-IRS-S-99/2006 or latest amendment if any. This includes wiring of potential free contacts from existing relays, contact of analog devices (Chargers, Battery, Power supply etc) and its usage inatalogger and its necessary wiring required for the work. The wiring materials will be used as supplied in Schedule-B including 40/60 core cable. Any other wiring material if required shall be supplied by contractor. Wiring of all external relays to Data Logger as per RDSO guide lines. The work is to be executed as per directives of SAIL. Representative.
Transportation, installation, testing and commissioning of Multi section digital axle counter (MSDAC) in complete system with all DPs of different track section configuration as per enclosed drawing. Axle counter device complete with standard accessories shall be supplied by the SAIL. All sorts of terminals, sealed wires, condensers, resistances etc., HDPE pipes and all other materials required for the above work shall be supplied by the contractor. This includes design, installation, testing, commissioning of MSDAC evaluation arrangement with all necessary modules cards, interface cables, software and other materials etc., execution of associated work for working of axle counter through OFC/Quad cable. The tenderer shall ensure that axle countr installed by the OEM.
Transportation, installation, wiring of Integrated Power Supply system. SAIL will supply only IPS system, red and black copper cable of 25 Sq mm size or as required as IS: 694 and grade 1100 V for connecting IPS to battery bank for 300/200 AH battery. Tenderer shall supply all wires and wiring materials required for the installation including DPDT switches of required numbers of ANCHOR/CROMPTON/HAVELLS/L&T to make 250V AC 32 Amps/415 V AC 63/100 Amps capacity or as per requirement. Electric wiring and bringing AC input supply from auto change over CLS panel at the station to IPS, all wiring /ducting from SM room to IPS room, from IPS room to relay room or any other load to be done by the contractor. All other copper cable of required dia as per installation manual and other wiring materials to be used for power wiring will be supplied by the contractor at his own cost.
Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of Maintenance free and permanent earth as per RDSO Specification No. RDSO/SPN/197 Version 1.0 and as per Technical Specification in tender document.
Painting, varnishing, numbering, lettering and graphiting of all outdoor and indoor signalling equipments over and above the initial painting as per instruction of SAIL. representative at site. This includes supply of paints, varnish, graphites and any other consumables by the contractor.
Wiring, testing and commissioning of overall circuits and ground gears of approved interlocking arrangement as per approved circuit diagram and Interlocking plan. This also includes making corrections/alterations in As Planned drawings and documents as per the execution at site. This includes Free home signal connection at site and SM's office, telephone connection in the tents/goomties and any other communication arrangement for the Non interlocking at the station or as decided by the representative of SAIL. during non interlocking. The materials required for preparation of Free Home indication board will be supplied by the tenderer.This also includes painting and lettering of gears. Telephone , VHF Sets/Walkie Talkie sets will be supplied by SAIL. Transportation, installation, wiring, adjustment, testing and commissioning of High availability single section digital axle counter device with dual track sensor complete including termination of cable. Axle counter device complete with standard accessories shall be supplied by the Railway. All sorts of terminals, sealed wires, condensors, resistances etc, HDPE pipes and all other materials required for the above work shall be supplied by the contractor. [iii]The contracior shall supply of minimum 5KG of Grease, Lubricating oil of 5 Ltrs for point machines, lubricants (black oil), distilled water, cotton waste of 5Kgs and all other petty consumables for regular maintenance. [iv]The contractor shall supply & prepare all the required registers te. cable insulation register, Track History card, Battery History Register, Equipment History Register, Signal Lamp History Register, Joint S&T & Paway Inspection Register Earth register, Axle counter reset register, axle counter channel voltage register, digital axle counter register, point testing register, emergency operation register (points, gate elc.) etc. and maintain the records neatly cabin-wise for signalling gears Ion standard Perfora as per the directive of Railway administration for handing over the maintenance to the Open Line. Format of register should be as per the advice of the site Engineer. Each register of A-4 size of 50 pages one side/both side hard bound. 2 Nos of register of each type mentioned above should be supplied. [v]The contractor has to supply all the registers mentioned above before taking Non [Interlocking. Maintenance of upto 5 line station.

Installation of DG set, testing and commissioning, . This includes casting of vibration free foundation, installation of ASM panel, outlet for exhaust panel, laying of power cable from DG room to ASM room for remote operation of DG set and wiring of DG set of ASM panel, laying of cables/wires should be carried out in HD PVC channel/ conduit pipe.
