M & L for Cutting / Chipping the spalling concrete surfaces of Slabs, Beams, Columns, Fins, Facias, Parapets & Chajjas etc. and trimming, cleaning the surfaces of any thickness, conducting Phenolphthalein test and cleaning the surface and ensuring the surface is clean and free from loose particles including disposal and depositing the demolished material out of MD land complete all as specified and as directed. Note: During the Phenolphthalein test if it is found that there is no change in the colour, the cutting / chipping of the concrete shall be carried out further down until reaching the good or uncontaminated concrete.

M & L for Drilling 10 to 12mm dia holes in to RCC Slab / Walls / Columns / Beams to a depth of 75 to 100mm in to the concrete surface / cracks using Rotary cum Hammer Drill and fixing PVC Nozzles with Epoxy based Sealant for injecting cementitious polymeric grout to fill the honeycombing noticed inside the beams, columns, slabs etc. including removal of loose concrete material and cleaning of holes in position, all equipment, machinery, tools as recommended by the Manufacturer complete all as specified and as directed. Note: The spacing of holes shall be as decided / directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

M & L for providing Grouting with High Strength Epoxy Injection Grout as per manufacturer's instructions through the nozzles for strengthening the weak concrete caused by cracks caused by structural distress such as shear cracks, flexural cracks, tensile cracks etc. by injecting low viscosity epoxy resin and enable it to soak in to weak concrete and subsequent polymerisation to bind the loose and weak concrete complete all as per Manufacturer's Instructions and Data Sheet, all as specified and as directed. M & L for cutting out existing cracks in concrete surfaces / masonry wall / RCC Slab, forming Groove of 25mmx40mm size, cleaning the groove thoroughly with air blower, priming the groove with mixture of Resin & Hardener in 2:1 Proportions using Spray Gun to form a film on the surface of groove, filling the groove with putty made Resin, Hardener & River Sand, mixed in 1:1:4 ratio, and finally applying a Seal Coat of same as of Primer Coat with Spray Gun complete all as per Manufacturer's Instructions and Data Sheet, all as specified and as directed. M & L for Cleaning the existing exposed reinforcement of Slab, Beam, Column, Footing etc. and any other RCC Structural members by emery paper, wire brush and finally with dry cloth, providing two coats of Polymer based Rust Remover as per manufacturer's instructions and allowed to react for 16 to 24 hours and finally cleaned with wire brush and washed thoroughly with clean water and finally applying One coat of Corrosion Inhibitor as per manufacturer's instructions on entire repair area to protect reinforcement embedded inside the concrete and reinforcement exposed and damaged complete all as specified and as directed. Note: The work shall be executed as per manufacturer’s data sheet and instructions after complete rust removal and also after provision of new / additional reinforcement. S & F Rolled Mild Steel work conforming to Fe 410-W, Grade-E- 250, Quality-A as in Stairs [Framed] including Stringers, Treads, Landing, Balusters, Hand Rails etc. including cleats, brackets, etc complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for two coats of Synthetic Enamel paint over one coat of Red Oxide / Zinc Chrome Primer on new steel surfaces over 10cm width or girth including preparation of surfaces complete all as specified and as directed.

Note for Serial Item No. 01 to 21: The rate quoted for various items is deemed to be inclusive of: [a] The work shall be carried out up to 15 Metres height of Overhead Water Tank and the rates quoted are deemed to be including providing double scaffolding and safety measures as required and removal of the same on completion and disposal and depositing the demolished material out of MD land complete all as specified and as directed. Contractor shall also provide suitable safety precautions and exhaust provisions as per manufacturer's instructions for using the various construction chemicals in congested and closed working conditions such as inside the Overhead Water Tank etc. Nothing shall be paid extra on this account. [b] Cleaning of Overhead Water Tank of One Lakh Gallon Capacity at any height by removing the inlet and outlet coupling connections, emptying all dirty / muddy water from the tanks using Diesel / Electric Driven Non-Clogging Pumps, removing the Scale / Sludge / Mud / Algae / Vegetation formed including other foreign materials got deposited on sides of walls and bottom of the tanks [Internal and External Surfaces] by scrapping and brushing with wire brush, Cutting / Chipping the spalling concrete surfaces and trimming to receive the epoxy treatment, cleaning with pressure pump, washing with bleaching powder slurry and allowing to dry and then washing, cleaning with acid based material, corrosion inhibitors and dispersing agents and finally cleaning the tank with fresh water, replacement of unserviceable / defective inlet and outlet coupling and fittings etc. complete after completion of all the structural repairs and disposal and depositing the demolished material out of MD land complete all as specified and as directed.

[c] The rate quoted for respective items shall be deemed to be inclusive of all material, labour, expert supervision, Tools, Plant, Safety measures like safety belts, ropes, helmets, netting etc. required to work at any height as per site requirement complete all as specified and as directed. [d] 06 Nos. of Photographs of Overhead Water Tanks before and after Cleaning & Structural Repairs shall be submitted to GE for record before claiming payment. [e] Sample testing Overhead Water Tank before and after Cleaning & Structural Repairs from NABL Accredited Laboratory for Microbial parameters of water shall be submitted to GE for record before claiming payment. [f] The work shall be executed directly by the Manufacturer of the Chemicals or under the supervision and guidance of Manufacturer of the Chemicals by their Authorised Applicator. A certificate from Authorised Applicator and Manufacturer of the Chemicals shall be obtained by the contractor to the effect that work of structural rehabilitation has been carried out under their strict supervision and the same shall be submitted by the contractor to GE. The contractor shall also obtain a written guarantee for the effectiveness of the Structural Repairs carried out to the Overhead Water Tank for a period of 10 [Ten] Years from the certified date of completion of entire work from the Manufacturer of the Chemicals and shall be submitted to GE for record before claiming payment. The manufacturer shall also certify that the Structural Repairs of the Overhead Water Tanks have been carried as per the standard engineering practices and also certify the strength and serviceability of the Overhead Water Tank.
