REPAIR REPLACMENT OF EARTHING LIGHTENING PROTECTION IN VARIOUS LOCATION AT JALIPA MIL STN UNDER GE ARMY BARMER

Material & Labour for testing eathing pits any type, duly disconnecting from test point and other loops. The test shall be carried out using ISI marked digital/Analog earth tester of reputed make and test result shall be enterd in a Earth Testing register and putup to Engr-in-Charge after testing all as per directed. Note *:- Test result for item No. 1 and all earthing in schedule to be provided to Engr-in-Charge after complition of work. Earth tester to be provided by the contractor himself.

Improvement to earthing for conventional GI/ Copper earth electrode having high ER value by excavating soil around earth pit filling the same with mixture of salt and charcol (25X02 bags of charcoal and 50X01 bag of salt) 0.2 Cum around the earth electrode re-filling soil and fixing the pit, watering and finally testing & recording results as per item No . 01 above all as directed.

Supply & fixing in repairs of earthing improving compound (enhansing compound) of 25 Kgs bag for improving earthing result by excavation till middle of the earthing plate both side and filled with enhansing Compound complete for any type of earth electrode/earth strip making good as per the existing one before execavation all complete as specified and as directed. Make : ASHLOK Black Fill compound ( Conductolite) or equivalent make . NOTE*:- Excavation, re-filling soil, removal surplus soil for item No. 01 to 03 is deemed to be included under same item.

Material and labour in repairs for Brazing of existing copper strip of any size, any height (on roof/ on wall) at various places complete all as specified and directed by Engr in Charge.

Material and labour in repairs for electric Welding of existing GI strip of any size, any height (on roof/ on wall) at various places complete all as specified and directed by Engr in Charge.

M & L in repairs Test point terminal block made of gun metal or phosphorus bronze size 75x75x25mm, drilled and screwed including 3 nos. 8mm dia 25mm long hex. head screw complete all as specified & directed by Engr in Charge.

M & L in repairs for GI funnel and wire mesh for earth pits complete all as specified & directed by Engr in Charge.

Material and Labour in repairs for PCC pit of 1:2:4 type B-1, suitable for any type of earthing complete all as specified and directed by Engr in Charge.

Material and Labour for RCC earth pit cover reinforced with XPM, weight not less than 4 Kg/Sqm and 6mm dia bar handle complete all as specified and directed by Engr in Charge.

Taking out and removing earth strip any size any description all as specified and directed.

S&F in repairs galvanized iron strip of size 25 x 4 mm as earth continuity conductor buried in ground or fixed to wall/floor/ground provided with porcelain insulators space not less than 0.5 mtrs complete all as specified and directed.

All as item No 11 above but of size 32 mm x 6 mm GI strip.

All as item No 11 above but of size 25 mm x 3 mm aluminium conductor strip

All as item No 11 above but of size 20 mm x 3 mm copper conductor strip.

Supply, fixing in replacement of Earth continuity conductor with 32mm x 6mm copper strip, pvc sleeve inulated all around including adequate size supporting/mounting insulator fixed to wall or buried in ground as required complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in replacement of earth continuity conductor 4 mm dia galvanised iron or steel wire lead fixed on wall/batton/recess or chases or burried in ground or drawing through conduit or any other situation for loop erathing etc as required complete all as specified and directed.

S & F in repairs in repairs air termination single pointed aluminium rod 12 mm dia and 300 mm long with fixing socket including dismantling old one complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer - in - Charge.

Material & Labour in repairs for Earthing complete with copper earth plate electrode 60cm x 60cm x 3.15 mm thickness burried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25mtr deep below normal ground level) with top edge of earth plate not less than 1.5 mtr below normal ground level connected to and incl copper strip 20X3 mm by means of nuts & bolts, check nuts and washers of brass incl PCC pit of 1:2:4 type B-1, cover reinforced with XPM weight not less than 4 Kg/Sqm and 6mm dia bar handle,earth pit angle iron frame of size 25x25x3mm, excavation and earth work in any type of soil, charcoal dust, salt, light grade GI watering pipe 20 mm dia with funnel and wire -mesh and medium grade GI protection pipe of 40mm bore from top edge of earth plate upto main distribution board complete all to as shown in electrical plate no 3 of MES SSR Part I 2009 connected board all as specified and testing on completion. (Note:- GI protection pipe and earth lead more than 7.5 RM shall be measure and paid separately)

All as per Item No 19 here-n above but using 32X6 mm copper strip as earthing lead.

Material & Labour in replacement of Earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 60cmx60cmx6 mm thickness burried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25mtr deep below normal ground level) with top edge of earth plate not less than 1.5 mtr below normal ground level connected to and incl galvanised earth lead wire of 4.00mm dia by means of nuts & bolts, check nuts and washers of galvanised incl PCC pit of 1:2:4 type B-1, cover reinforced with XPM weight not less than 4 Kg/Sqm and 6mm dia bar handle, earth pit angle iron frame of size 25mm x 25mm, excavation and earth work in any type of soil, charcoal dust, salt, light grade GI watering pipe 20mm dia with funnel and wire -mesh and medium grade GI protection pipe of 15mm bore from top edge of earth plate upto main distribution board complete all to as shown in electrical plate No 3 of MES Sch 2009 (Part I) connected main switch board all as specified and testing on completion.

All as item No 20 above but using 32X6 mm galvanised iron strip as earthing lead.

M&L for safe earthing electrode (SEE) designed with pipe technology with hot deep Zinc coated & Alloy coated (80 – 100) microns MS pipe size of outer pipe 76.3 mm dia and inner pipe 41.9 mm, 3 mtr long inside filled with ) crystalline conductive mixture (CCM) having non corrosive and conductive properties complete with two bag of Black filled compound (Electrodite) mixed with soil all around the earth pipe for smooth charge dissipation complete with bricks wall earth pit of size 450 x 450 mm with RCC pit cover including copper conductor strip of 32 X 6 mm. Make : Ashlok (Note:- the earth resistance should be less than two ohms and GI protection pipe and earth lead more than 7.5 RM shall be measure and paid separately)

M&L in repairs for 40 mm bore GI pipe light grade ISI marked for earth strip protection/ for lightening arrester with all fixing accessories for copper strip such as, Nut bolts and washers insulator with necessary brick work for fixing GI pipe complete all as specified and directed by Engr -in -Charge.

M&L for PCC 1:2:4 type C1 using 20mm graded aggregate for coping including necessary form work and fair finishing of exposed surface of concrete all as specified and directed.

S & F in repairs porcelain ridge insulator of size (75x35x40) mm with 01 no. GI bolt of 65mm dia and 40mm long including nut & washer and 02 nos GI bolt of 10mm dia and 50mm long including nut & washer for holding/fixing copper/GI / Aluminium strip on roof/wall complete all as specified and directed.
