PREVENTIVE PERIODICAL MAINTENANCE SERVICING OF VARIOUS E M EQUIPMENTS INSTALLED IN WTP PS TANK AND INTAKE POINT AND OTHER CONNECTED WORKS UNDER GE NARANGI

Material and labour for seven stage cleaning and sterilization of inside of Semi underground sump of capacity 15 Lakh gallon capacity at New WTP through bacteriological treatment by using chemical as approved by GE and ultra voilet ray including arrangement of necessary tools & plants, labour etc complete all as specified and as directed. Seven stages are as under follows :- (a) First stage is to drain out the water by using exit valve or own high capacity dewatering ststem. (b) Second stage is cleaning all the algae fromation inside the tank by using approved chemical as recommended by GE including scrubbing the walls of the tank. (c) Third stage is scrubbing the wall with mechanical scrubber and fresh water cleaning by high speed jet pump (rotary & flat) to remove all scalling, algae and other formed particles on internal surface of the tank completely. (d) Forth stage and first bacteria screening is sterilization by using approved chemical as recommended by GE. (e) Fifth stage is cleaning the floor of the water tank by heavy duty industrial vacuum cleaner and sludge sucker having maximum 1200W with sutable heavy duty rugged motor to free of any foreign and loose particles on any nature. (f) Sixth stage is the second bacteria screening and sterilizing method by using ultra violet ray by heavy duty UV radiation which shall have covering 360 degree of sterilization with the tank to kill all suspended bacteria. (g) Seventh stage of cleaning and third bacteria screening is to sterilize the floor and wall of the water tank by using oxidizing agent Bleaching powder or equivalent non- toxic bio- degradable eco friendly anti bacterial agent certified by Govt approved laboratory to disinfect the UG tank from all harmful pathogens. Complete all as specified and directed .

All as per item No. 1 Above but RCC Overhead tank at New WTP of capacity 1.00 Lakh Ltrs .

All as per item No 1 above but open type semi UG sump of capacity 5.00 Lakh gallon at New WTP include by complete washing out of old settled muddy sand, soil mixture (sludge), fine sludge etc and removal of settled sludge to a suitable distance not exc. 50mtr complete all as specified and as directed. The rate includes cleaning of walls from inside & outside walls, surrounding area, connected pipe lines and one coat of lime white wash inside tank complete all as specified and directed. (Note : 1. Cleaning of one UG sump be considered as one job. 2. Cleaning of Natural resources be carried out as per requirement on urgent basis).

All as per item No 3 above but Pre Sedimentation tank in Chandrapur open type of capacity of 16.00 Lakh Ltr of size (3m x 12m - 02 compartments) , (12m x 39m x 4m) include by complete washing out of old settled muddy sand, soil mixture (sludge), fine sludge etc and removal of settled sludge to a suitable distance not exc. 50mtr complete all as specified and as directed. The rate includes cleaning of walls from inside & outside walls, surrounding area, connected pipe lines, header & valves of various sizes painting and one coat of lime white wash inside tank complete all as specified and directed. (Note : 1. Cleaning of one 2 x Semi UG sump be considered as one job . 2. Cleaning of Natural resources be carried out as per requirement on urgent basis).

All as per Item No. 2 above but for Water Treatment plant capacity 13.5 MLD consisting of Step type Aierator, Rapid mixer, Alum Dosing sumps, Cleigestor, Clarifoculator , Chemical room, 02 Nos Filtration beds of cap 4 MLD, raw water passing drains, Sludge/back washing drains approx 60RM. The job also include two coat of synthetic enamel painting of pipe lines, MS structure in clarifoculator, gear boxex, MS mixer's incude valves of various sizes and white wash of filters beds & collection chamber include chemical store room complete all as specified and directed .

Material and labour for complete cleaning of outside upto water level surface, top of MS floating barage having G deck of size 9M x 6 M with wire brush (including mechinical rubbing to remove deposit scaling material, heavy rust) removing of mild scale and rust by application of rust removing chemical Sika Rustoff 100/ (or equivalent in make MYK Arment Pvt Ltd (ReArm Rust remover)/ Pidilite/ Thermax/ FOSROC) by brush and leave the surface to react for 15-30 Mins. Then the rusty surface will change their colour. After that remove the loose particles of rust by wire brush complete and painting with two coat of red oxide primer and one coat of synthetic enamel paint on all MS assy fixed on barage include painting of connected pumps, pipeline and valves as per existing colour code complete all as specified and directed.Note for item ser No 1 to 6 : 1. Excavation and earth work will be measured and paid under relevant items. 2. Rates for all T&P required for the job such as Welding and cutting machine, DG set, crane & JCB excavator be included in the quoted rates. 3. Any recovery for damages occure to the neary infrastructre of other agency be born by the contractor. 4. Necessary permission of other agencies required to complete job be taken by the contractor before start work and necessary assistance be given by the deptt.

Material and labour for providing river bank protection, retaining wall to protect of pipe line for land sliding, flooding or any other natural calamities with precast cement concrete blocks, pitching include necessary earth work, removal of debries, stone boulders for an appropriate length of 10 mtr of covered area complete all as specified and directed. (Note : work carriedout in area of approx 10 mtr in length be counted as one Job.)

Material and labour for reinforced cement concrete 1:2:4 type B1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) in bases for column, basement, slab for thrust block to support pipe line, Pit chamber include MS handle & MS rod, or slab for water tank/pit including demolition of old concrete etc complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down old damaged MS /DI Pipe of size 500mm dia of any shape or from any position or location on existing line from Intake point to Narangi Cannt, the job include cutting by welding, broken PCC thrust block, taking down mannualy or liftting by crane and removing from site with out disturbing the nearby other infracture of other agencies complete all as specified and directed. Note: 1. Rates include earth work, restoration of road hard crust/side bam (repairing charges payable to PWD if any) including permission for laying of pipe line along/across road etc complete all as directed and speicifed.

Supply and lay Pipes ERW Steel including specials, nominal dia 500 mm heavy duty as per IS 3589 (1981) thickness 8.0 mm duly painted with 2 coats of synthetic enamel paint over coat of zinc chromate primer complete all as specified and directed.Note : (i) All fitting such bend, reducer etc shall be fabricated out of ERW steel & rates to be included in quoted rates except MS flange.(ii) Pipe is to be laid /fixed in any length as per site requirement.(iii) All cutting welding jointing material of appropriate size are deemed to be included in quoted rates.(iv) Rates include for MS pipe to be hanged / fixed, or laid in trenches alongwith MS angle , wooden supporting block and rubber pad , fixing with thrust block of RCC in any postion or location in existing water line from Intake point in chandrapur to Narangi cantt complete all as specified and directed. Rates for RCC, MS work , excavation (v) MS structure and RCC blocks to support piping during erection shall be measured and paid separately under respective items in this schedule.
