REPAIRS TO PERIMETER AND CERTAIN INTERNAL ROADS OF RCI IN TECHNICAL AREA RCI UNDER GE I RND RCI HYDERABAD

M&L repair to Isolated pothholes, depth of pothholes exceeding 30mm and not exceeding 1.0 Sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc cutting edges to at least 25mm in depth, making good by applying tack coat @ 5 Kg per 10 Sqm, putting in premixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8Kg Per 10 Sqm, blinded with 0.09 Cum of stone chippings, 6.3mm size and again well rammed (including supply of premixed macadm, binder and chippingss) complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L, premix bituminous macadam (Consolidated thickness 50mm or more ) with binder content at 4% by weight of total mix using paving bitumen Vg-30 as binder,by hot mix process and laid by mechanical paver, rolled and compacted to gradient and camber required using power rolled of capacith exceeding 8 tonne and not exceeding 12 tonne includding cleaning the surface by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt and applying tack coat with paving bitumen VG-30 @ 5 kg/10 Sqm complete all as specified and directed.

Note:1. Contractor shall get the mix Design done from the sources specified and execute work using bitumen content as per actual design mix, provided it is not below 4%. In case bitumen content required as per design mix comes to lower than 4%, contractor shall use 4% bitumen.

2. No price adjustment shall be done on account of variation in bitumen content required as per design mix and no claim on this account shall be entertained.

3. Cost of carrying out design mix shall deemed to be included in the quoted unit rate of item.

M&L, Preparing existing black top surfaces of bituminous roads by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc., sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc., and complete all as specified and directed.

M&L, 7.5cm thick (compacted thickness) WBM, with granite trap or basalt coarse aggregate of grading 2 (63 to 40mm size) or of grading 3 (50 to 20mm size) spread, rolled and consolidated to required gradient and and camber complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L, applying evenly a priming/tack coat with paving bitumen VG-30 @ 5Kg/10Sqm over black top surfaces complete all as specified and directed.

M&L, Premixed Bituminous Semi Dense Asphaltic Concrete, 30mm consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder content by weight of total mix, using paving bitumen of Grade VG-30 as binder by hot mix process and laying with mechanical paver, rolled and compacted to required camber or gradient using power roller of capacity exceeding 8 tonne and not exceeding 12 tonne complete all as specified and directed

Note for item No 1 to 5: Works under Sl item No 1 to 5 are required to be carried out in patches at locations as directed by Engineer in Charge. Contractor's quoted rate shall be deemed to include for the same and NO claim whatsoever will be entertained at a later stage.

M&L , bituminous premixed carpet 3 cm consolidated thickness with 0.41 cum of stone chippings mixed with 21.90 kg of binder, rolled and compated to required camber and gradient with 8 to 10 tonne road roller complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L , Premixed sand seal coat with 0.06 cu.m. of sand mixed with 6.8 kg of paving bitumen, applied and rolled to a uniform smooth surface complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation of old surfaces of kerb stone and concrete or plastered surfaces over 10 cm width or girth not otherwise described and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparing new or old bituminous surfaces of road and marking 2mm thick centre lines,stop lines, dashes, arrows etc and the like n exc 10 cm wide on roads pavements with hot applied thermo plastic road marking paint of approved colour confirming to BS 3262-1969 with special applicator machine all as per manufacturer's instruction complete all as specified and directed.
