Dismantling/Taking out old unserviceable earthing any type/size complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 600mm X 600mm X 6mm buried directly in ground vertically to a depth not less than 2.25 meter below normal ground level (with top edge of earth plate not less than 1.5 meter below ground level) connected to GI earth wire 4 mm dia main earthing lead by means of galvanized bolts, nuts and washers all as shown in electrical plate no 3 of MES Schedule Part-I (1991) with connected to earth test point & to main switch board etc with & including adequate quantity of charcoal dust and common salt all around earth plate, PCC (1:3:6) type C-1 (using 20mm graded black trap/granite/Basalt stone aggregate) for earth pit with 40 x 40 x 6mm mild steel angle iron frame for cover, pre cast RCC (1:2:4) type B-1 (using 20mm graded black trap/granite/Basalt stone aggregate) 40mm thick cover reinforced with 8mm dia TMT bars 3 Nos both way with 12mm dia round bar handle, GI light grade watering pipe 20 mm dia with funnel and wire mesh, and 15 mm dia GI medium grade earth lead protection pipe, complete all as specified and directed. (NOTE : Earth strip and its protection pipe upto and including 7.5 mtr are included under this item)

M & L for Earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead of 4.0 Sqmm galvanized iron wire, buried in ground or fixed to wall in and including 15 mm bore GI pipe medium grade for protection of earth wire complete all as specified and directed. Note- cost of Making good of disturbed surface/area to match with existing surface is deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

M & L for Chemical Earthing complete with copper earth plate electrode 90 cm x 60cmx 5mm thick, buried directly in ground vertically (earth pit not less than 2.25 m deep below ground level) with top edge of the earth plate not less than 1.5m below ground level, connected to copper strip 32 x 6 mm as earthing lead by means bolts and nuts check nuts and washers of copper and connected to test point including insulating sleeve PCC chamber soil including necessary excavation in any type of soil, returning, filling removal of soil, filling with 3 bags (60 Kg each) of environment friendly portland cement based backfill compound (Resistivity below 0.15 ohm) and all connected to Earthing test point complete all as specified and directed and testing on completion. (NOTE : Earth strip and its protection pipe upto and including 7.5 mtr are included under this item)

Taking out old unserviceable strip/wire any type from wall/roof complete all as specified and directed

Supply and fix aluminium strip of size 25x3.15 mm for Earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall/ roof with saddles and fixing screws etc. for roof conductors and down conductors above ground or any other indicated situation complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Two lengths of strips shall be jointed together by overlapping not less than 100 mm both ends through welding/brazing.

Supply and fix GI strip of size 32x6 mm for Earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed wall with saddles and fixing screws etc. or laid underground as in grid connection of earthing complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix copper strip of size 20x3.15 mm for Earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed wall with saddles and fixing screws etc. or laid underground as in grid connection of earthing complete all as specified and directed.
