Comprehensive Annual Maintenance Contract (CAMC) of Bathing Water Facility (BWF) at CSIR-NEERI, Nagpur

Providing Operation & Maintenance services for Day to Day water pump,filtration valves operation and upkeep of Bathing Water Facility (BWF) at CSIR-NEERI, Nagpur as per terms and conditions of contract attached.

Description of BWF facility: Size- 25M (L) x 16M (W) varying depth from 1 - 4 meters, Filtration Plant, Suction sweeper, etc. Area of bldg. 188 sqm,Pump house Area 57 sqm with garden and parking area (Service Provider should visit BWF before submission of their offer).

BWF shall be opprated for users Days from Tuesday to Sunday. .......................... ......................... Timing Morning 6:00 to 9:30 AM (6.00 to 7.15 for ladies and 7.30 to 9.30 am for Gents) Evening 5:30 to 8:30 PM ( 5.30 to 6.45 for ladies and 7.00 to 8.30 pm for Gents) The facility will remain closed on Monday for the users. The maintenance, cleaning and purification of water etc. work will be carried out on monday.

Bidder shall ensure that the good quality of water, adequate gender wise Life Guard available during the above operational time of BWF.

Day-to-day activities including pool cleaning, filter operation, chemical dosing, checking of residual chlorine, presence at general reception for card checking and collection, supervision of general operation and management of the facility such as cleaning of toilets, shower area, landscaping, requirement of plumbing and electrical and other minor repairs etc. and any other work required for smooth functioning of the facility.

Filter operation

Filter operation, maintenance, cleaning, chemical dosing checking of Water level in pool & balancing tank, filtration plant operation at proper working pressure, and any other work required for smooth running of filter plant. Backwashing of the filters to be carried out as per the requirements.

BWF Cleaning

· All the floating dirt and leaves should be removed from the BWF twice daily.

· Suction sweeper, Bottom cleaner should be operated regularly to remove settled dirt from pool floor for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in BWF.

· The Service Provider will clean the premises and surrounding areas daily in order to keep in perfect hygiene condition.

· Pool scum/overflow channels and balancing tank should be cleaned as per requirement. The log book shall be maintained by service provider.

Sample collection from the bottom BWF

Male/Female expert shall assist for collection of sample from bottom of the BWF.

Life Guard

Male and Female expert lifeguard with experiance should be deployed for safety of the users.

Maintenance of site

Various works such as daily cleaning of the premises, up-keeping of premises infrastructure, furniture, fixtures etc. with miscellaneous tasks required for smooth maintenance and operation of the pool BWF and premises.(Repair with Supply and replacement of faulty plumbing and electrical items will be done by CSIR-NEERI) Service provider will the maintain the Garden of BWF premises.

Safety Requirement

Service provider have to provide special safety gadgets such as gumboots/ raincoats/gloves etc. wherever necessary for the safety of workers. Also Service provider have to provide 6 life jackets at BWF for safety of the users.

Manpower Required

Adequate manpower shall be deputed for all AMC work to oprate and maintain the BWF in good and hygenic condition. Supervisor-Filter Operator,Lady Life Guard, Gents Life Guard, Gardner,Helper,Sweeper etc. required for above mentioned work.

Machine Consumables

Suction Sweeper, Brushes, Ropes, Rubber Packing, washers, Nut-Bolts etc.

Chemicals for maintain water at quality standard

The material such as alum, Liquid Chlorine, phenyl detergent, disinfectant etc. required for maintaining the water quality, cleaning and sanitation etc. shall be provided by the service provider.(Use of the particular chemicals is to be finalized by the Project Leader and BWF Committee, CSIR-NEERI considering the water quality standsards requirements.)

Cleaning Consumables etc.

Detergent, Disinfectants, Acid, brushes, brooms etc. and other items required for day-to-day cleaning of shower area,WC, Pool channels and maintaining gardens.
