SUPPLY OF VERTICAL TUBULAR JUICE HEATER

Supply of Vertical Tubular Vapour line Juice Heater (without tubes) having heating surface of 285 m2, shall be multiple circulation type, designed to have juice velocity between 1.8 m/sec. to 2.0 m/sec. at crush rate/juice flow rate of 115 m³ juice/ hour. The body shell must be of made from 12mm thick M.S. Plate. Both cover plates should be made from atleast 32mm thick MS plate provided with suitable stiffeners. The tightening arrangement for covers should have T type constructions. Tube plates from 25mm thick Mild steel plate, Juice heater should be provided with easy opening & boxing up device to open both cover plates at a time for juice cleaning. Drain cocks should be provided in bottom cover and air venting connection with cocks in top cover for each compartment. Proper ammonia connection by providing 2” dia coil for heavy and light non-condensable gases exposure to atmosphere separately with separate control valves. The tube plate should be properly drilled & reamer finished to fit 45 mm OD x 1.2 mm x 4000 mm S.S. Tubes. The thickness of partition plate & header plate shall not be less than 12 mm. A square bar of 1¼ “(30 mm) with dove tail grooves should be welded over the partition plates to fix rubber packing of 12 mm. The juice heater should be provided with two condensate outlet each having dia of 4” and One SS double beet valve of 8” dia to operate it on vapour line juice heating. The ligament of tubes should be minimum 12mm Suitable condensate withdrawal point should be provided. Supply of Header with both tube plates for Vertical Tubular Juice Heater of 240 m2 heating surface (without tubes) shall be multiple circulation type design to have juice velocity between 1.8 m/sec. to 2.0 m/sec. at 140 m3 Juice/hr. The tube plate should be drilled properly reamer finished to fit 45mm OD x 1.2 mm thick x 4250 mm long S.S. Tubes having following specifications: a) No of compartments - 15 Top, 14 in bottom b) No. of Passes - 28 c) No. of Tubes/Pass - 15 d) Total No. of Tubes - 420 e) Tube plate thickness - 25 mm f) Ligament of tube - 12 mm Should not less than g) Thickness of partition plates - 12 mm h) Thickness of shell/extended - 12 mm x dia.1710 shell plate and diameter On the top of compartment plates, 1” square bar with suitable groove as per existing to be welded for proper fitting of the rubber strip. The top header should be provided with common housing for fixing two. nos. 8” double beat valves to operate juice heater on raw juice as well as on Sulphited juice heating. Shell of the headers should extend atleast 6” beyond the tube plates towards the calandria. The headers should be exactly as per our existing size and design. (1 set- 02 No.)

Juice heater covers Top and bottom covers to suit our juice heater having 240 m2 heating surface. M.S. cover should 32 mm thick after machining with proper stiffeners, necessary opening and closing hinges (with necessary vent.) The cover should be exactly as per our existing size and design.
