PICKING BT Scarifying the existing bituminous road surface to a depth of 50 mm and disposal of scarified material with a lift upto 3 m and lead upto 1000 m as per Technical Specification Clause 301.4

Excavation for roadwork in soil with hydraulic excavator of 0.9 cum bucket capacity including cutting and loading in tippers, trimming bottom and side slopes, in accordance with requirements of lines, grades and cross-sections, and transporting to the embankment location with a lift upto 1.5 m and lead upto 1000 m as per Technical Specification Clause 302.3

WET MIX MACADAM Providing, laying, spreading and compacting graded stone aggregate to wet mix macadam specification including premixing the material with water at OMC in mechanical mix plant carriage of mixed material by tipper to site, laying in uniform layers with paver in sub base/base course on a well prepared surface and compacting with vibratory roller to achieve the desired density

PRIMER COAT Providing and applying primer coat with bitumen emulsion (SS-1) on prepared surface of granular base including cleaning of road surface and spraying primer at the rate of 0.85 kg/sqm using mechanical means as per Technical Specification Clause 502

TACK COAT Providing and applying tack coat with Bitumen emulsion (RS-1)using emulsion distributor at the rate of 0.275 kg per sqm on the prepared granular surface treated with primer & cleaned with Hydraulic broom as per Technical Specification Clause 503

BITUMINOUS MACADAM Providing and laying bituminous Macadam with hot mix plant using crushed aggregates of grading as per Table 500.4 premixed with bituminous binder, transported to site upto lead of 1000m laid over a previously prepared surface with paver finisher to the required grade, level and alignment and rolled to achieve the desired compaction as per Technical specification clause. 504.

BITUMINOUS CONCRETE Providing and laying bituminoua concrete with 100-120 TPH batch type HMP producing an average output of 75 tonne per hour using crushed aggregates of specified grading,premixed with bituminous binder @5.4 to 5.6 percent by weight of total mix and filler, transporting the hot mix to work site, laying with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment,rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per MoRT & H speciications clause 507 complete in all respects

Provision of Rumble strips with premix Bituminous carpet

Provision of 15 nos. rumble strips covered with premix bituminous carpet, 15-20 mm high at centre, 250 mm wide placed at 1 m centre-to-centre at approved locations to control speed, marked with white strips of road marking paint.

Routine Maintenance after completion of work the road sufrace and shoulder to be maintained in proper condition to make them free from excessive edge drop offs, roughness, scouring and pot holes and cleaning of surface drain including culverts for frre flow of water. Relettering name boards and K.M & H.M stone and other maintenance operation required to keep the road traffic worthly at all the time for the maintenance period for the following years. As per General condition of contract para 32.2.2
