Operating staff to be deployed :-

Sub Station Attendant (Electrician) - One persons per shift (Total three shifts per day) having diploma/ITI in electrical engineering with three year experience in the relevant trade.

Helper - One person per shift (total three shift) who is physically fit and having minimum qualification of Matric.

Note :- Period of one shift - 8 Hours.

No of shifts to be deployed per day - 03.

Nature of Duties of operation staff

Sub Station attendant / Electrician have to operate and maintain all the assets listed under item No. 1(A) here in before.

Maintaining and recording of the records of all the Instruments all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge and register/log sheet will be provided by contractors.

Monitoring of periodical functioning of the instruments listed in Sub Station standing order/particular splecifications as per laid down periodically.

Recording daily break down /shut down in the log sheet other than reading such as trip record, breakdown its duration, preparing permit slip etc.

Carrying out necessary periodical test of earthing of complete Grid quarterly and recording it on test sheet.

Testing of DC batteries healthiness, checking of gravity of batteries, functioning of battery bank replacement of worn-out fuses, weekly and making the test/record sheet.

Testing, cleaning, checking of bty terminal, Ammeter, voltmeter periodically and maintain log book for running of Gen Set of capacity 25 KVA.

Maintaining and monitoring capacitor bank and power factor.

HELPER - To assist the sub station attendant / electrician for taking out trolleys of switch gears etc, recording the reading of instruments, watch and ward for complete assets installed with in the premises of the installation and daily cleaning of the installed machinery of installation and area of Sub Station.

PROTECTIVE CLOTHING/UNIFORM/TOOLS :- The duty SBA and helper shall wear uniform as approved by the GE/ Engineer-in-Charge. The tools kit consisting of Insulating plier, screw drivers, DE Spanner set shall always be in possission of the duty SBA. The uniform and tool kit shall be arranged by the contractor. SBA /Helper will not be attand to enter the sub stn without protective clothings.

Duty Roster. Necessary duty roster shall be prepared by the contractor every months and approved by JE/Engineer-in-Charge monthly.

One mobile set to be provided at 66 KV Sub Stn permanently for communication by contractor without extra cost.

Payment of wages : The Garrison Engineer is the principal employer as such payment to staff deployed shall be made not less than minimun wages as govt policy. Payment to staff deployed to made through bank cheque & evidence to be produced as directed.

Penalty Charges. The panelty charges are under:-

Absent of duty attandent recovery @ Rs. 500/- per day per shift for Electrician.

Absent of helper recovery @ Rs. 300 / per day per shift for helpar.

Not carring out the periodical test as per periodicity, recovery @ Rs. 500/- for each test.

Contractor is responsible for cleaning within the boundary wall of the sub stn remains foliage free/grass free at all time. Existing foliage / grass will be uprooted by machinery / maually as per the requirement and safety of cables.Removing rubbish upto distance of 50 mtr out the periphery of area under cleaness including internal cleaning complete all as specified and directed. Penal Charges:- Non cleaning of the area recovery @ Rs. 5000/-per month.

In case any attendant / helper not found in uniform a penalty of Rs 100/- be imposed per person per day.

Maintaining of power factor above 0.95. The panel charges charged by PSPCL shall be paid by contractor.

All safety precaution will be taken by the Electrician/Helper incase of any lapse contractor will be responsible for the same.

Routine testing of 66 KV assets by Power Grid Corporation of India/PSEB to be tested are as under: -

Tests to be carried out

IR value test of both transformer and bushings.

PI value test for 20 seconds and 120 seconds.

No load current test.

Magnetic balance test.

Short circuit test.

66 KV SF-06 Breaker (02 Nos) - Tests to be carried out by the power Grid Corporation of PSEB Protectiion team. Following test shall be carried out :-

IR value both in open and close position.

Continuity of breaker in closed position.

Tripping and closing of breaker.

Functioning of all the tripping system/relays displayed on the control relay panel-such as differential o/c, earth fault, metering circuits and all other protection emanating from transformer - oil temp trip, OLTC trip, winding temp gauge trip, bucholz relay, inter trip etc, calibration of all the relays and complete Panel for time observed with respect to time setprimary injection of all the CTs, complete all as specified and directed.

Greasing/oiling of all the moving parts.

Operation/working of charging motor and limit switch.

Testing of 11KV, VCB breaker- 14 Nos through Power Grid Corporation of India PSEB. The equipments to be tested through Protection team PSEB are as under:-

Testing of 11KV breaker through Power Grid Corporation of India , through PSEB Protection team are as under:- (TOP-II)

Following tests to be carried out on each breaker ( Nos of Breaker - Nine in TOP II)

Servicing of HT VCB 11KV,630A of Kirloskar make alongwith tripping system and testing of vaccum circuit breaker 11KV, 630A, 25KA including taking out Breaker/trolley and carried out the fwg repair/tests made for smooth operation

Supply and fixing in replacement of copper ribbon suitable for 200 amps rated capacity gang operative switch, 45 CM long complete all as specified and directed .

Supply and laying or fixing in relacement 1100 Volts grade heavy duty cable with PVC insulated aluminium standard conductor served with an inner sheathing of PVC tape and over all PVC Sheathed in service connections , one twin core 16 Sqmm cable standard conductor cable flat or circular all as specified and directed by Engineer- in- Charge.

Supply and spraying anti vegetation chemical liquid of 1ltrs bottle mixed with water as per direction of Engr in charge .

S&F in replacement HT Jumpers wire from top disc insulator to GOD and disc to disc in any lenth with complete nuts & thimbles all as required at site.

Supply, jointing, testing in repair straight through jointing kit heat shrinkable out door type, suitable for HT 11000 volts grade cable of size 185 sqmm 3 core complete all as specified.

M&L for testing of faulty HT cable by using HT high voltage fault locating machine and finding the fault and to be repaired the same including all T&P as required on site complete all as directed. Note :- (a) Each job includes finding out the location of each fault in HT feeder. (b) Necessary excavation,returning filling and removal deemed included in this job.(c) HT straight /end Joint and additional HT cable if required it will be measured and paid separetly under respective item.

Taking out existing gravels/hardcore material from the bottom of sub stn/equipment completely for cleaning and spraying of anti grass chemical and screnning the hardcore material and refill the same at places complete all as specified and directed by Engr in charge. Note:- Anti Grass chemical and loose filling of aggregate for topping up will be measured and paid separetly respective item.
