LAWN. Surface excavation in any type of soil not exceeding 30cm deep and averaging upto 15cm and removing soil upto a distance n.exc 50 metre, filling back/spreading with red earth of 15cm thick mixed with farm yard manure in the ratio (3:1), breaking the clads with wooden sludges and treating the soil with pesticides (i.e Bacitin and neam cake, BHC 10% linson dust, Thimment and Phorate, super and vermi compost in ratio (1:3) including turfing/laying of Korean feather reed carpet grass readily avialable of approved quality, turfs side by side without undulation/depressions and ramming the surface and maintaining by regular watering weeding, gap filling by employing skilled labourers etc., complete all as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

All as per item No 1 above but Pesco grass

Avenue Plants. Digging of pit n.exc 0.25 cum in any type of soil including removal of soil and filling back the pit with suitable growing media like red earth by treating with farm yard manure in the ratio 3:1, fertilizers and pesticides (i.e Bevation and neem cake BHC 10% linson dust. Thimment or phorate manures super and vermicom post) and making up the trench area to proper levels including supply and planting tree plants of species such as Champa Palm, Coco Palm, Dressinia, Fycas, Benjamerja, Pluminia, Bhramia, Cesal Pennae, Gulmohar, Minil Tona, Pagadam, Silvar Oak, parthodium and Ashoka Tree as approved by GE and maintaining by regular watering and weeding etc as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note : Ashoka tree shall be 2.0 metre to 2.4 metre high and 2 to 2.5 year old with proportional girth and spiked stakes.

All as per item No 3 above but decorative plants like Arakya (Christmas tree), Golden King, Ficus Blakiyana and Champion Palm as approved by Engg-in-Charge.

Excavating in any type of soil upto 450mm wide and not exceeding 450mm depth and removing the soil upto a distance n.exc 50 metre filling back with red earth of mixed with farmyard manure in the ratio 3:1, breaking the clads with wooden sludges 15cm thick, soil treating with fertilizers and pesticides (i.e Bavitin and neem cake, BHC 10% linson dust, thimment or phorate, super and vermin compost in ratio (1:3), planting of hedging and edging plants such as Golden Duranta/ Acalifa Aspra (Red leaves), Acalifa Green, Acalifa Tricolour, ferns, Shrubs, covers, shade loving foliage plants shall be of herbaceous, perennials, orchds flowerings alternanthera, acalepha variety, agave, euphorbis, cactus, perium, monster, Schefflora, Durantha plant, ficus, heliconia dracaena, ixora, hibisus, asparagus, tapioca, caesaipinia, alamanda, yellow bamboo, area palms, seasonal annuals etc, as approved by GE by regular watering, weeding by employing skilled labours etc, all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Maintenance of all shrubs, grass, plants, trees etc. planted under item No 1 to 5 above from date of completion of phase-I to ensure healing, upkeeping/watering of plants, pour manure, carrying periodical tilling and using pesticides, trimming shrubs, plants and cutting grass, removing unwanted grass and plants from work site. Note: (a) During the period any plant, shrubs, grass, plants/trees etc. are found dead, not true to name or size as specified or not in satisfactory growth, the same of approved size and shape shall be replaced by contractor without any extra cost. (b) Supply and application of manure, good earth, sand, ATT chemical, pesticide, fertilizer, cartage etc as required during maintenance period is included in quoted rate.
