REPAIR / REPLACEMENT AND MAINT OF TRANSFORMER, HT EXTERNAL ELECTRIC SUPPLY AND HT UG CABLES AT DHOLEWAL UNDER GE LUDHIANA

Disconnection all electrical connection HT/LT from the bushings/terminal box of the unserviceable distribution transformer of capacity 63 to 160 KVA, of any make and specifications, indoor/outdoor type from existing position i.e. 2/4 poles structure or PCC foundation; dismantling, taking down and opening the transformer for repair by transporting the transformer to authorized Workshop (100 KM), opening of top cover including conservator, breather and allied items, inspecting the same to assess the repairs required, carryout the repairs. Cleaning, greasing and overhauling including taking out and replacement of unserviceable/worn out parts with new parts, fixing parts by draining out transformer oil complete all as required to make the transformer serviceable. Refilling transformer oil duly charged upto min BDV 45 KV, assembling, removing of the burnt parts i.e tape, paper insulating strings etc gently and carefully, washing of the dust, rust and dirt from all parts incluiding taking out HT/LT leg coil core tank and cooling tubes, painting the inner side tank by zinc chromate paint and preparing the same for re-assembling after carrying out required repairs, replacement, overhauling, commissioning and testing at workshop and bringing back to the original location after repairs and overhauling where the transformer was originally installed; fixing and installing in original position, making all electrical/mechanical connections, commissioning and testing to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge complete all as specified and as directed. Note : (i) Unit rate quoted by the contractor shall be deemed to include for taking out and reinstalling after repair of transformer with the help of crane, including transportation to workshop and back incluiding handling, loading and unloading etc.. (ii) Unserviceable wornout items/spare required shall be measured and paid separately under respective items of BoQ. (iii) Filling in new/ fresh transformer oil shall be deemed to be included in the unit rates qouted by the contractor. Burt tranformer oil shall be sold to the contractor. (iv) New copper winding of the tranformer shall be measured and paid for sepataely

All as per Serial item No 1 here-in-before but transformers of capacity 200 KVA to 400 KVA. Notes for item No 1 & 2:- New winding, Transformer oil required for Topping up shall be measured and paid seperately.

M&L for HT Primary / secondary Coil winding from the unserviceable transformer of any capacity. cleaning all the limbs, rewinding with super enamelled copper wire of same specification of HT winding with existing suitable gauge and grade by calculating numbers of turns as per voltage of transformer complete, varnishing and drying by vaccum impregnating, replacing insulating material gasket with nut bolt etc and testing as per latest IS/BS specification complete all as specified and directed. M&L for rewinding of HV coil of transformer of any capacity using proper size DPC super enameled copper winding wire of appropriate guage and grade,with insulation material suitable for HT 11 KV transformer including taking out carefully burnt unserviceable copper winding of coils complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for LT Primary / secondary Coil winding from the unserviceable transformer of any capacity. cleaning all the limbs, rewinding with super enamelled copper wire of same specification of HT winding with existing suitable gauge and grade by calculating numbers of turns as per voltage of transformer complete, varnishing and drying by vaccum impregnating, replacing insulating material gasket with nut bolt etc and testing as per latest IS/BS specification complete all as specified and directed. Supply,filling and topping up Transformer Oil insulating HV grade, high viscosity ISI marked in sealed drum for transformers, confirming to IS-335 of 1983 as amended uptdate up to desired level of transformer oil capacity with BDV not less than 50 KV (RMS) complete all as specified and directed. Note: Dielectric strength of Trasformer Oil should not be less than 50 KV complete all as specified and directed

M&L for Dehydration, filtration, heating and refilling of old transformers oil after testing the same for dielectric strenghth not less than 45 KV (RMS) at site of Tranformer at various Sub Stations located in scattered area complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. NOTE-(i) Test certificates shall be submitted for before and after filtration for dielectric strength on the proper format. (ii) FreshTransformer oil used for Topping up will be measured and paid separately under relevent Item) (iii) Dehydration and filtration can only be carried out at site by brining Filtration Machine at site. (iv) Dielectric strength of Transformer Oil should not be less than 45 KV complete all as specified and directed

S&F in replacement LT 415 Volts Bushing Porcelein Vitreous 1100 Volts grade as per IS 3347 (ISI marked) for transformer capacity upto 400 KVA complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in replacement LT 415 Volts threaded Brass bushing rod as per existing dia and length with nuts, check nuts and washers ISI marked for transformer capacity 63 to 160 KVA complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F in replacement LT 415 Volts threaded Brass bushing rod as per existing dia and length with nuts, check nuts and washers for transformer capacity 200 KVA to 400 KVA ISI marked complete all as specified and as directed.
