Conducting Reconnaissance survey including collection of pavement and Cross Drainage work details of the existing road including submission of inception report.s per the instruction of Engineer in-charge

Traffic Survey analysis and forecasting(a) Conducting Classified traffic volume count & Origin - Destination survey including supply of Enumerators, hire charges for working tables, PVC chairs, Samiyana, electrical arrangements during night time, etc. for 24 hours as per the instruction of Engineer in-charge for 7 days.(i) At outer Cordon points (2 Nos)

(b) Conducting Turning movement survey including suppy of Enumerators (Mazdoor Grade I), hire charges for working tables, PVC chairs, Samiyana, electrical arrangements during night time, etc. for 24 hours as per the instruction of Engineer in-charge for 3 days3 Legged junctions

(c) Conducting Journey Time - Journey Delay time survey including supply of Technical Assistant, hire charges for light moving vehicle, etc. complete at 3 occasions (Morning peak, Evening peak and Non-peak hours) on one market day and as per the instructions of Engineer in-charge.

(d) Conducting Spot Speed Survey including supply of Technical Assistant, hire charges for light moving vehicle, etc. complete at 3 occasions (Morning peak, Evening peak and Non-peak hours) on one market day and as per the instructions of Engineer in-charge.

Analysis with forecasting of traffic data collected from different components of traffic survey data by means of analysis of traffic count, analysis of delays, analysis of speed-flow characteristics, analysis of origin and destination data, analysis of speed and delay characteristics, etc., projection of traffic data for this project and presenting the analysed data in necessary forms, tables and diagrams as per the codal provisions of IRC up to final approval.

Topographic survey using total stationConducting Topographic survey by using total station for bring all the existing details features into the drawing and to draw longitudinal and cross sectional details of the proposed work as instructed by the Engineer incharge.

Fixing temporary bench marks at 100m intervals along the alignment as directed by the departmental officers in charge of the work.

Geotechnical investigation for new bridges and other structuresConducting core cutting and collecting samples with power drilling machine to 100mm (4'') dia in all classes of soils excluding hard disintegrated rock late rite and soft rock including required all laboratory tests as directed by the departmental officers and collection of soil samples and properly packing the same in polythene covers, including transportation charges for boring machine with all accessories to worksite with loading and unloading charges erection and placed in position including hire and labour charges for compressor and fuel charges for operation including cost of Bentanite powder, including watering charges etc, complete as directed by the departmental officers in charge of the work.

Conducting core cutting and collecting samples with power drilling machine to 100mm (4'') dia disintegrated rock/Kankar rock including for required all laboratory tests as directed by the departmental including transportation charges for boring machine with all accessories to worksite with loading and unloading charges erection and placed in position including hire and labour charges for compressor and fuel charges for operation including cost of Bentanite powder, including watering charges etc, complete as directed by the departmental officers in charge of the work.

Conducting core cutting and collecting samples with power drilling machine to 100mm (4'') dia soft rock including for required all laboratory tests as directed by the departmental including transportation charges for boring machine with all accessories to worksite with loading and unloading charges erection and placed in position including hire and labour charges for compressor and fuel charges for operation including cost of Bentanite powder, including watering charges etc, complete as directed by the departmental officers in charge of the work.

Conducting core cutting and collecting samples with power drilling machine to 100mm (4'') dia hard rock including for required all laboratory tests as directed by the departmental including transportation charges for boring machine with all accessories to worksite with loading and unloading charges erection and placed in position including hire and labour charges for compressor and fuel charges for operation including cost of Bentanite powder, including watering charges etc, complete as directed by the departmental officers in charge of the work.

Collection of soil samples from site at regular intervals as per the standards of soil sample collection including transportation to the laboratory as directed by the Engineer in charge.

Conducting Pavement Condition Survey by means of Benkleman beam deflection test to determine the deflection of pavement under a standard wheel load based on IRC guidelines and as per the instructions of Engineer in charge.

Preparation of Alignment, GAD, Site plan and cross sections based on the topographic survey for getting final approval of the alignment.

Preparation of embankment, drainage system, traffic safety features, road furnitures, road markings, Arboricultrue and landscapping, etc. and all required components of this project, etc. as per SSRB, IRC & MoRT&H specificaiton and Prepartion of designs and drawings of structural elemens like Foundation, Sub Structure, Super Structure & Cross sections (proof checked by Designs and Investigation wing ) in CD & Booklets up to final approval.

Preparation of Land Plan Schedule (LPS) including collection of field maps, patta, chitta, owner details, marking centre line of alignment, specification report, abstract of land acquisition area in proper forms and combined FMB sketch along with necessary individual drawings and necessary area calculations, etc., in standard format required to submit to the revenue department for further processing approval and necessary revisions till approval.

Preparation of report for the shifting of service utilities with necessary drawings and get approval from the various departments / agencies.

Preparation of Draft Detailed Project Report covering all aspects like specification report, detailed estimate, detailed design (proof checked by Designs and Investigation wing), drawings and other supporting details for final approval in soft and hard copies (8 sets).

Preparation of environmental impact assessment (EIA) report alongwith Resettlement and Rehabilitation (R&R) report as per the standard guidelines of Government of Tamil Nadu and Government of India in the prescribed format for a highway project.

Preparation of final DPR and bid documents for calling tenders for the construction of elevated highway with necessary copies required for the deparmental purposes and tender process in soft and hard copies

Fixing boundary stones on both sides of the proposed Elevated Highway as per the requirements or as directed by the deparmental officers incharge of the work.

Pedestrian movement study etc. as per standard specifications as directed by the Engineer in charge.

Preparation of Power Point Presentation for Technical Audit Committee approval of the estimate with necessary soft and hard copies in required numbers.etc. as per standard specifications as directed by the Engineer in charge.

Testing of soil samples collected from site at any HRS Regional Laboratory including sieve analysis, determing PD, CBR, fineness, swell index, etc. as per standard specifications as directed by the Engineer in charge.

Study on geomentrical improvements of major junctions etc. as per standard specifications as directed by the Engineer in charge.
