Excavation in earthwork in hilly area all heights and depths, in all kind of soil including saturated soil comprising of mixed soil, ordinary rock and hard rock. All work of rock cutting by blasting shall be carried out by taking all necessary precautions against soil erosion, damage to hill side, water pollution, etc. and to protect stability of hill side. Rock shall be excavated with chiseling and wedging out rock (where blasting is prohibited). All earth work in cutting/excavation, including rock excavation shall be carried out true to lines, grades, side slopes, width, camber, super-elevation and level as shown on the drawings or as directed by the Engineer-in-charge, in conformity with the requirement of technical specification for Rural Road, clause 16.2 of General Conditions for Contract to achieve designed formation width including hauling and stacking of material useful for construction at suitable sites and safe disposal of unsuitable cut materials in specified manner including arrangement of dumping site, trimming, filling of unevenness, blindage and finishing of the road to specified dimensions or as directed by the Engineer-in charge for smooth riding. The recovery for stones, whether useful or not, for nil cum.( i. e Cubic Meter ) @ Rupee170/= only(Rupees .One hundred seventy) per cubic meter shall be effected on pro rata basis in all circumstances. Any loss to the public and private property during the course of excavation shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractor, which shall have to be duly compensated by him in all cases

Stacking of materials useful for construction at suitable sites and safe disposal of unserviceable cut materials in specified manner trimming filling of unevenness blind edge and finishing of the road to specified dimension or as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. If the foundation of the structure is in an area with stagnant water or water is met with in the excavation due to spring seepage rain and other causes it shall be removed by suitable diversion bailing out or dewatering as directed and the area of the foundation or embankment shall be kept dry. Any loss to the public or private property during the course of excavation shall be the sole responsibility of the contractor which shall have to be duly compensated by him at his own cost in all cases.

Providing and laying concrete Mechanically mixed and vibrated PCC M-10(Ten) nominal mix 1:3.6 ( One cement: Three sand :six graded stone 20 mm(twenty millimeters) nominal size for plain concert in foundation and plinth or similar work complete as per drawing and technical specification for rural roads , Clause 802,803,1202 and 1203 and curing complete including the cost of form work including hauling of materials in all leads and lifts and as per entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and erecting a "W" metal beam crash barrier comprising of 3 mm thick corrugated sheet metal beam rail, 70 cm above road/ground level, fixed on ISMC series channel vertical post, 150 x 75 x 5 mm spaced 2 m centre to centre, 1.8 m high, 1.1 m below ground/road level, all steel parts and fitments to be galvanised by hot dip process, all fittings to conform to IS:1367 and IS:1364, metal beam rail to be fixed on the vertical post with a spacer of channel section 150 x 75 x 5 mm, 330 mm long complete as per clause 810 including and hauling of materials in all leads and lifts and as per entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing weep holes in brick masonry/stone masonry, plain/reinforced concrete abutment, wing wall, return wall with 100 mm dia PVC pipe extending through the full width of the structures with slope of 1(V):20(H) towards drawing face complete as per drawing and technical specification Clauses 614, 709, 1204.3.7 including hauling of materials in all leads and lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing, and laying reinforced cement concrete 900mm diameter (Nine Hundred millimeter) pipe NP2 including jointing for culverts on first class bedding of granular material in single row including fixing collar with cement mortar 1:2 (one cement: two sand) but excluding excavations, protection works, back filling, concrete and masonry works in head walls and parapets as per drawings and technical specifications clause 1108 including the cost of form work and hauling of materials through all modes of transportation with in all leads and lifts and as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Preparation of sub-grade by dressing to camber, earth work for the cutting involved for sub grade to be paid for separately depending upon the classification of soil completed as per HP.PWD. Specifications including the hauling of materials through all modes of transportation with in all leads and lifts and as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Consolidation of sub grade with road roller including making good the undulation etc. with earth or quarry soil etc. and rerolling the sub-grade completed as per HP.PWD., Specification including hauling of materials through all modes of transportation with in all leads and lifts and as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates of specific sizes to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing rolling with three wheel 80-100 KN static roller in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming stone screening/binding materials to fill- up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density grading-III as per technical specification clause 405 including hauling of material in all leads, lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge. WBM Grading -III (53mm to 22.4 mm size)

Providing and applying primer coat with Bitumen emulsion (SS-I) on prepared surface of granular base including cleaning of road surface and spraying primer at the rate of 1.00 kg/sqm using mechanical means as per technical specification clause 502 including hauling of material in all leads, lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and applying tack coat with Bitumen emulsion (RS-1) using emulsion distributor at the rates of 0.30 Kg per sqm on the prepared dry and hungry bituminous surface cleaned with Hydraulic broom as per technical specification clause 503 including hauling of material in all leads, lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing, laying and rolling of open-graded premix carpet of 20 mm to thickness composed of 13.2 mm 5.6 mm aggregate using VG-10 (VG-10) @ 14.60 kg per 10 sqm) to required line, grade and level to serve as wearing course on a previously prepared base, including mixing in a suitable plant. Laying and rolling with a three wheel 80/100 KN static roller capacity, finished to required level and grade to be followed by seal coat of type B as per technical specification clause 508 including haulaging of material in all leads, lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and laying seal coat sealing the voids in bituminous surface laid to the specified levels, grade and cross fall bitumen (VG-10) @ 6.80 kg per 10 sqm as per technical specification clause 510 including haulaging of material in all leads, lifts as per the entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-Charge. using VG-10

Three MS plates of 1.6mm (one point six millimeter ) thick, top and middle plates duly welded with MS flat iron 25mm X5mm (twenty five into five millimeter ) size on back on edges. The lower plate will be welded with MS angle iron frame of 25mmX25mmX5mm.
