Repairs to 400 KVA electrical transformer at LIS Ratti Bakhta.

Repairs to 400 KVA transformer installed at electric substation of LIS Ratti Baktha by way of disconnecting of the electric transformer from the input and output power connections, lifting of electric transformer from its installed position by using manual labour, crane and then shifting to workshop by using carriage vehicle. Completely dismantling of the 400 KVA transformer at workshop by way of extracting out the damaged coils, LT bushes, HT bushes, rubber gasket, copper nuts and bolts. Rewinding of 3 no’s HT coils with standard copper winding gauge with proper insulation & taping. Reconditioning of 3 no’s LT leg coils using quality insulation material. Repairs to core of transformer by replacing the flashed core material. Heating of assembled coils in oven for proper hot air process and to get required megger value. Repairs to the oil tank by welding to make the oil tank leak proof and air tight. Properly cleaning the oil tank with scrubbers to remove all carbon deposits. Lowering of the coils inside the sump of the transformer. Providing and fitting of LT and HT bush rod sets, new insulator, new copper nuts and bolts. Refitting of the top cover of transformer by providing and fitting of new top gasket sheet. Filtration of existing transformer oil with topping with 220 liters of fresh transformer oil. Testing the continuity of each phase and secure all connection. Back shifting of repaired electric transformer to site, unloading and installing at site with the help of crane, manual labour, connecting of HT and LT power connections. Testing of transformer on no load and full load. The job includes the cost of materials, labour charges, crane charges, loading, unloading, and transportation charges to & fro, testing and installation, tools and tackles used during the execution of job.
