Taking down carefully unserviceable copper/aluminium point wiring (light, fan, socket or power) including unserviceable fittings such as switches, ceiling roses, pendents, regulators, socket, light fittings etc complete and making good disturbed surfaces of walls, floors etc.complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in charge.

M & L for providing Point wiring with 1.5 sq. mm (nominal area) single core PVC insulated FRLSH unsheathed multi-stranded copper conductor cable (maintaining colour code), 1100 volts grade in and including PVC casing caping of adequate size but not less than 20mm in width and 1.2mm thick with all fittings and accessories including modular surface box of adequate size with suitable modular plate with cover for mounting modular switches, sockets, regulators, light fittings etc. complete with all fittings and accessories fixed to wall/ ceiling for one light/ fan point/bell point controlled by one one way modular switches including one run 1.5 sqmm (nominal area) PVC insulated FRLSH unsheathed multi-stranded copper conductor cable green in colour for earth continuity conductor connected to common earth dolly complete all as specified & directed.

All as per Item No. 2 above but for one 3/5 pin 5/6 Amps modular socket outlet point on same board with other switches.

Note-One run PVC casing caping, four runs main cable and two runs of earth wire shall be measured as one unit length.

M&L, in repair, earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode of 60 cm x 60 cm x 6mm thick buried directly in ground [earth pit not less than 2.25 metre deep below normal ground level] with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 m below normal ground level, connected to galvanized earth wire of 4mm dia by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanized iron or steel all as shown in electrical plate No. 3 of MES SSR Part I all as specified and testing on completion including provision of earth lead protected by 15 mm dia light grade GI pipe & watering pipe shall be 20 mm bore medium grade GI pipe including all excavation and earth work, PCC pit with RCC cover, char coal, salt, funnel etc complete. Note:- Rate quoted by tenderers shall be deemed to include for following provisions-[i]. Excavation & earth work in any type of soil including removing of surplus material upto 50 m. [ii].PCC 1:3:6 type C1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate in pit & 40mm thick precast RCC 1:2:4 type B1 cover 50x50 cm with 8mm TMT bars @ 10 cm C/C both ways with handles.[iii]. Main earthing lead from earth electrode to test point upto 7.5 mtr.[iv]. Funnel with watering pipe [GI pipe] 20mm bore medium grade & copper lugs, charcoal & salt as reqd.[v]. GI protection pipe of size 15 mm bore light grade 7.5m.

S&F in repair test point terminal block made of gun metal or phosphorus bronze of size 75x75x25mm drilled and screwed including 3 nos 8mm dia 25mm long hexagonal headed screws complete all as specified and directed.
