| 1MDPE PIPELINE TO GI CONNECTIVITY FOR INDIVIDUAL HOUSES /APARTMENT/INDUSTRIAL/COMMERCIAL PNG CONNECTION: Laying of MDPE Pipeline of PE100 grade with SDR 11 of sizes 20mm, 32 & 63 mm upto 10m length in Bengaluru Geographical Area (GA) (excluding asphalt road crossing width from road edge to road edge covered separately under item 1.0 b) in case road crossing is required for connectivity) for MDPE pipeline connectivity between GI and MDPE piping. Each Transistion fitting used for last mile connectivity for PE to GI shall be considered for certification of connectivity payment under this SOR item. The following works are also included in the scope of this item: | ||||||
| 2Loading, Shifting, Unloading of MDPE pipes issued by GGL as free issue material from GGL designated storeyard within Bengaluru GA limit but upto maximum 100 Km radius and stacking as per requirement at working site/contractor's stock yard. | ||||||
| 3The depth of trench should meet to ensure minimum 1000 mm cover from top of the pipeline to natural ground level at that location. | ||||||
| 4Trenching of the required width and depth in all kinds of soil, asphalt roads, concrete pavements/roads, all kind of pathways or laying of PE pipes of sizes 20 mm, 32mm, 63mm for maximum length upto 10m from saddle /tee connectivity at one end for connecting with the existing PE network and TF at the other end for GI pipe connectivity at the other end including crossing of MDPE pipes below the drains as required depending on the drain depth but not less than 1000 mm cover from drain bottom slab. | ||||||
| 5Alternatively, as per site conditions, if drain crossing from bolttom of the drain is not feasible with cover of 1000mm from drain bottom, then drain crossing can be carried out by supplying and provding GI sleeve (40 mm GI sleeve for 20 mm PE pipe, 50 mm GI sleeve for 32 mm PE Pipe, 100mm GI sleeve for 63mm PE pipe) across the drain width. Further, as per site condition crossing of MDPE pipeline below drain not feasible then, MDPE pipeline will be crossed as per the drawing No. MEC/23VT/01/31/T4/PE/LY/024/R0/A2. | ||||||
| 6Flushing and Pneumatic testing at 6 Kg/cm2 or more up to 10 kg/cm2 (as asked by GGL/EIC) for four hours from Saddle tap off to Transition Fittings (TF) or from TF to PE pipe to tee joint excluding Tee as the case may be (In case of Tee, tee weld joints shall be golden joints) | ||||||
| 7Supply and fixing all kind of fittings/accessories as required on new PE pipeline, charged, uncharged existing pipeline network, Warning Mat or any other fittings required to make compelete pipeline work | ||||||
| 8Supply and installation of 2.5 inch dia x 1000 mm length for 20 NB pipe TF Gaurd or 4 inch x 1000 mm length for 32 NB pipe TF Gaurd, 300-400 mm above ground level and 600 mm below ground level, filling the annular space inside the TF guard with sand. Supply of sand is included in this item | ||||||
| 9Item also includes dewatering from the trench before/after laying of the pipes if required without creating any problems to the surrounding areas. | ||||||
| 10Preparation of the route and connectivity planning drgs for individual houses, layouts, apartments or society etc. | ||||||
