SPL REPAIR TO CERTAIN ROADS AT SEVOKE ROAD MIL STN UNDER GE SEVOKE ROAD

M&L for Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area not exceeding 400 Sqm and depth exceeding 50 mm but not exceeding 100 mm deep including removing stacking and deposing off, complete all as specified and directed.

Repair to potholes any depth, not exc 1.00 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by filling in screened & graded road metal, watering and well ramming (including supply of road metal), complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 7.5cm thick (compacted thickness) WBM, with coarse aggregate of granite, trap or Basalt of grading 2 (63 to 40mm size), or of grading 3 (50 to 20 mm size) spread, rolled and consolidated to gradient and camber with 8 to 12 tone power roller, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Preparing of un-surfaced WBM surface of road by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with mechanical air compressor and gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc, applying evenly a tack coat of cationic bitumen emulsion (RS-1) conforming to IS : 8887 at a rate of application of 0.35 kg/sqm on bituminous surface as specified in table 500-5 of Morth specification for road and bridge work 2013, using mechanical spraye after cleaning of existing surface, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Preparing of black top surface of road by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with mechanical air compressor and gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc, applying evenly a tack coat of cationic bitumen emulsion (RS-1) conforming to IS : 8887 at a rate of application of 0.25 kg/sqm on bituminous surface as specified in table 500-5 of Morth specification for road and bridge work 2013, using mechanical spraye after cleaning of existing surface, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for premix bituminous, macadam laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness 75mm or less) using paving bitumen Vg-30 @ 4% (minimum) by the weight of total mix of any penetration compacted to required gradient and camber with 8 to 12 tone power roller, complete all as specified and directed. NOTE : (i) No extra allowances shall be admissible to the contractor if the bitumen content is required more than 4% by the weight of total mix as per approved design. The contractor shall quote the rate accordingly.

M&L for preparing bituminious surfaces of road and marking 2.5 mm thick painting to road surfaces as in lines, dashes, arrows, letters , zebra crossing etc on roads, pavements and like n exc 10 cm wide on roads pavement with hot applied thermoplastic road marking paint approved colour conforming to BS 3263-1989 with special applicator machine all as per manufactures instruction, complete all as specified and directed. (Note. The painting shall be carried out through mechanical appliances by the company's approved applicator).

M&L for bituminous premix asphaltic semi dense concrete 40mm consolidated thickness (minimum) with 5.5% binder content of paving bitumen Gde-VG-30 by weight of total mix, rolled and compacted, mixed in mechanical hot mixed plant and pre-mixed material laid with mechanical paver, finished including rolling to required gradient and camber with 8 to 12 tonne power roller to required compaction complete all as specified in the relevant clauses of SSR Part-I (2009) and, complete all as specified and directed. Note : (a) Rate deemed to be included for making good of any undulation/damages in wearing surfaces, where semi sense asphaltic concrete to be laid. (b) Semi dense asphaltic bituminous concrete shall be designed as specified and binder content shall be provided as per design mix, contractor shall quoted his rates considering the bitumen contents as 5.5%. Any variation in binder content on minus side shall be adjusted at the rate of Rs 50.00 per kilogram of binder but variation in binder plus side shall not be paid extra contractor shall quote accordingly.

Supply and fixing in repair of cat eye solar reflective type of metal body alloy of size not less than 100mm x 100mm x 20mm with PAMA striplens reflector of model No. DA 972.0 fixed with and incl MS stud of suitable size as per manufactures instructions and complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in repair of solar cat eye aluminum alloy shall (100% water proofing design according to 65) of size not less than 125mm x 125mm x 25mm (shank 65mm) of high efficiency Mono rystafie solar panel 2.4V/ 0.3 watt one NI-ed rechargeable battery (1.2V/ 1600MA) consisting of super bright LED with 10,000 to 18,000 mcd completed as per manufactures instructions and complete all as specified and directed. Note - The contract sum shall be calculated by deducting the amount shown in Credit Schedule attached to this tender, from total amount of Schedule 'A'/BOQ.
