SPL REPAIRS OF BOREWELL AT PUMP HOUSE NO-04 AT TAMULPUR MIL STN UNDER GE RANGIA

M&L for drilling of trial bore of 250 mm dia upto 200 metre depth below ground level in any kind of soil, strata including hard stone, boulders by deploying Reverse Rotatry Rig/DTH to achieve desired depth including cost of consumable stores like fuel, lubricants, bentonite, collection of samples of strata materials as met during boring at each 2 metre depth and supply of strata chart (in duplicate) and all other desired information etc, complete all as specified and directed. Notes:- (i) Deployment, Erection and dismantling of boring plant after completion of the work including all arrangements for the transportation of the boring plant to site of work and from site of the work to outside MD Land, are to be made by the contractor at his own cost. The quoted rates shall be deemed to include for making arrangements & deployment of resources (material and labour) for the entire completion of the work and also for disposal of spoil from the site of work. Pits for collection of water and water for drilling tubewell shall be arranged by the firm / contractor at site at his own cost. (ii) For payment purposes, actual depth of boring which may be varied as compared to the depth as mentioned against item No 1 as per the orders of GE, at the accepted rate of above item, shall be considered. (iii) Drilling of trial bore shall be got executed by the Contractor from a Specialist Agency having requisite T&P and Machinery and such Specialist Agency shall be got approved by the contractor from GE before engagement of the same.

M&L for devolopment of trial bore by reaming upto 525 mm dia in the steps as mentioned below, upto and including a depth of 60 metres in steps from ground level by using Reverse Rotary method including disposal of spoil from the site of work, complete all as specified and directed :- (a) From 250mm to 350 mm dia (b) From 350mm to 450 mm dia (c) From 450mm to 525 mm dia

M&L for devolopment of trial bore by reaming upto 450mm dia in the steps as mentioned below, from depth exceeding 60 metres and upto 200 metres depth by using Reverse Rotary method, complete all as specified and directed :- (a) From 250mm to 350 mm dia (b) From 350mm to 450 mm dia Notes for Item No-2 & 3 : (i) Successful Development & Yield Testing of Bore Well to obtain desired safe yield as decided by the GE.will be whole sole responsibility of Contractor, if any failure during trial boring, development, testing or otherwise at any stage is occured, the contractor will provide new trial bore at any other location as decided by the GE at his own cost and arrangements and no payment for the unsuccessful trial boring, development of trial boring and for other works etc shall be admissible. (ii) For the payment purposes, the actual depth of development which may be varied as compared to the depth as mentioned against items No 2 &3 as per the orders of GE, at the accepted rates of above items, shall be considered. (iii) Development of trial bore shall be got executed by the Contractor from a Specialist Agency having requisite T&P and Machinery and such Specialist Agency shall be got approved by the contractor from GE before engagement of the same.

M&L for carrying out & submission of electric logging in pilot bore for precise delineation of granular zones, as also the quality of ground water and also including submission of the report interpretation, complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- Electric logging shall be got carried out by the contractor from any Govt approved reputed agency as approved by the GE.

Supply, fixing & lowering in bore well 250mm bore MS ERW (Mild steel, Electric Resistant Welded) Casing Pipe of wall thickness not less 8mm, confirming to IS:3589-1992 (with upto date amendments) duly ISI marked including jointing of pipes at the both ends by continious electric arc welding & also providing mild steel stiffners at the area of welded portion (duly welded to pipes), complete all as specified and directed. Note :- The pipes shall be of suitable length as per the site requirements and the external surfaces of the pipes shall be painted with two coats of anti corrosive bitumastic paint of approved brand suitable for drinking water, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, fixing & lowering in bore well 200mm bore MS ERW (Mild steel, Electric Resistant Welded) Casing Pipe of wall thickness not less 8mm, confirming to IS:3589-1992 (with upto date amendments) duly ISI marked including jointing of pipes at the both ends by continuous electric arc welding & also providing mild steel stiffners at the area of welded portion (duly welded to pipes), complete all as specified and directed. Note :- The pipes shall be of suitable length as per the site requirements and the external surfaces of the pipes shall be painted with two coats of anti corrosive bitumastic paint of approved brand suitable for drinking water, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, lowering and fixing 200 mm bore low carbon galvanised (LCG) strainer 3 metre/6 metre long with perforations at 0.75mm to 01 mm as per requirement with minimum 06 mm wall thickness, confirming to IS 8110:2000 including jointing with casing pipe at both ends by continuous electric arc welding and providing mild steel stiffners at the area of welded portion (duly welded to pipes), complete all as specifed and as directed

Development of tube well using Air Compressure of minimum 350 psi, 600cfm pressure till sand/mud free water of the potable quality is obtained, complete all as specified and directed. Note :- All the T&P, Fuel, resources required for the developement shall be arranged by the contractor at his own cost and the quoted rates shall be deemed to include for all the above elements.

All as per Item No - 08 here in above but by pumping with 25% extra capacity pump (after completion of item 8) so as to achieve minimum safe desired yield as decided by the GE complete all as specifed and directed. Note :- Yield Test shall be measured and paid separately under relevent items of Schedule.

Supply, lowering, jointing and testing 100 mm bore & 3 Metre long mild steel (ERW) pipe with wall thickness not less than 4.8mm (ISI marked with IS No 3581, Latest Edition with updated errata/amendments) and having both ends flanged duly provided with heavy duty mild steel flanges not less than 10mm thick, screwed & Welded inside and outside, having 08 Nos predrilled holes of required size including provision of jointing materials i.e. rubber gasket, nuts, bolts, washers, also painting the external surfaces of pipe with 2 coats of anticorrosive paint, complete all as specified and directed.
