REPAIR/MAINTENANCE OF WATER SUPPLY INSTALLATION AND ELECTRIC SUPPLY INSTALLATION OF CIVIL WORKS IN NATURE UNDER AGE E/M NO. I OF GE (U) SECUNDERABAD

PART-I (REPAIRS OF B&R NATURE) M&L for 1.5 Lakh Gallon capacity Overhead tanks for applying Two or more coats of 100% Premium acrylic emulsion paint having VOC less than 50 gm/litre and UV resistance as per IS 15489:2004, Alkali & fungal resistance, dirt resistance exterior paint of required shade (Company Depot Tinted) with silicon additives @ 1.43 litre/ 10 sqm over and including priming coat of exterior primer applied @ 0.90 litre/ 10sqm over prepared surfaces including complete removal of existing treatment all as per below mentioned stages for complete exterior including all walls, all columns, beams, stairs, ceilings, parapets, top roof etc:- (i) Complete removal of existing treatment: The surfaces shall be cleaned to remove loose dirt or dust, lichen, algae, fungi or any organic growth by use of stiff brush. Then the surface is washed well and allow water to dry. All cracks, voids and minor damages shall be patched/repaired with white cement putty or with Plaster of Paris, prior to application of paint. In case of old surfaces where excessive fungal/algal growth is observed the surface should be bio washed as per manufacturers instructions. Allow the surface to dry before it is ready for painting. (ii) Primer Coat: Over this prepared surface apply a coat of acrylic emulsion exterior primer as per manufacturer’s instructions. This shall be allowed to dry for 4 to 6 hours before application of final paint. (iii) Finishing Coat: Acrylic Exterior Emulsion paint of premium quality 100% Acrylic shall be applied in two coats as per manufacturer's instructions. Paint shall be applied with brushes or roller and shall be allowed to dry for 3 to 4 hours between subsequent coat. (iv) Finishing to Handrails if any: Preparing old painted steel surfaces and applying one coat (finishing coat) of synthetic enamel paint complete Note: Rate shall be inclusive of necessary scaffolding arrangement for the complete work and provision of all precautions like safety helmet, safety belts etc to the labours. The bidders are requested to visit each site before quoting.

M&L for 1.5 Lakh Gallon capacity Overhead tanks for apply two coat of oil bound distemper over one coat of alkali resistant primer to walls and ceiling internally, over prepared surfaces including complete removal of existing treatment all as per below mentioned stages for complete interior including all walls, all columns, beams, stairs, ceilings, landings, top ceiling etc:- (i) Complete removal of existing treatment: The surfaces shall be cleaned to remove loose dirt or dust or any organic growth by use of stiff brush. Then the surface is washed well and allow water to dry. All cracks, voids and minor damages shall be patched/repaired with white cement putty or with Plaster of Paris, prior to application of paint. Allow the surface to dry before it is ready for painting. (ii) Primer Coat: Over the prepared surface, apply a coat of alkali resistant primer. (iii) Finishing Coat: Over the primer, Oil bound distemper shall be applied in two coats as per manufacturer's instructions. Paint shall be applied with brushes or roller and shall be allowed to dry for 3 to 4 hours between subsequent coat. (iv) Finishing to Handrails/ ladders if any: Preparing old painted steel surfaces and applying one coat (finishing coat) of synthetic enamel paint complete. Note: Rate shall be inclusive of necessary scaffolding arrangement for the complete work and provision of all precautions like safety helmet, safety belts etc to the labours. M&L for Framed mild steel work such as in grills, framed guard bars, ladders etc incl bird proof mesh/ weld mesh for Over head tanks at any level of height including anchoring to floor/ walls etc.; cement concrete type B-1 for fixing holdfasts and neatly finishing the disturbed surface with matching colour etc. and painting the new steel surfaces with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer including preparation of surfaces etc. complete and dismantling old steel work all as specified and directed. Note: Rate shall be inclusive of painting to new steel surface and finishing adjoining disturbed surface with matching colour, necessary scaffolding arrangement for the complete work and provision of all precautions like safety helmet, safety belts etc to the labours. The bidders are requested to visit site before quoting.

M&L for Rendering 10mm thick in CM 1:3 on brick work or concrete surface etc. finished even and smooth without using extra cement as in any surface such as roof surfaces/ ceiling etc. all as specified as in Overhead Tanks at any level of height etc. including Taking down cement plaster of any description from existing surface (to receive plaster) including raking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water etc., complete.
