CIVIL WORKS FOR SHEDS

EXCAVATION UPTO 1.5M — Excavation for foundation, trenches and paving up to 1.5m depth :Excavation for foundations, trenches, paving and other works as req uiredup to 1.5 m depth in all types of soil, as per Specification No.201565C-101-JSS-1401-0007 and directions of HPCL EIC. The lineitemincludes excavation, stacking for backfilling, topsoil preservation,backfilling, side trimming, watering, consolidation, shoring/strutting,dewatering and all incidental works complete.The line item shall include transportation of excavated soil within theplant premises.The item shall also include spreading, leveling and compaction (in layerof 300 mm) of excavated soil at locations designated by HPCL, inside oroutside the plant boundary, up to 8 km from the excavation area.Transportation/shifting of soil beyond plant premises is not in thescope of this item and shall be paid separately in the respective item.However, mobilization and shifting of machinery/equipment required forspreading and compaction at any location within 8 KM from excavationarea shall be included in the quoted rate for this item.

EXCAVATION 1.5M-3M — Excavation for foundation for depth above 1.5m and upto 3m: Excavationfor foundations, trenches, paving and other works as required above 1.5m and upto 3 m depth in all types of soil, as per Specification No.201565C-101-JSS-1401-0007 and directions of HPCL EIC. The lineitemincludes excavation, stacking for backfilling, topsoil preservation,backfilling, side trimming, watering, consolidation, shoring/strutting,dewatering and all incidental works complete.The line item shall include transportation of excavated soil within theplant premises.The item shall also include spreading, leveling and compaction (in layerof 300 mm) of excavated soil at locations designated by HPCL, inside oroutside the plant boundary, up to 8 km from the excavation area.Transportation/shifting of soil beyond plant premises is not in thescope of this item and shall be paid separately in the respective item.However, mobilization and shifting of machinery/equipment required forspreading and compaction at any location within 8 KM from excavationarea shall be included in the quoted rate for this item.

SANDFILLING FOR PAVING — Supplying and filling clean, dry sand of approved quality under floors ,pavements, in foundation and plinth, tank pads, etc. including cost of sand transportation for all leads, loading <(>&<)> unloading, spreadingin layers of 150 mm compacted thickness at all dept hs, watering,ramming, compacting to 95% dry density or as specified in drawing,dressing in slopes horizontally as required and levelling etc. allcomplete and as per directions of Engineer-in-Charge all complete as perapplicable Rules <(>&<)> Regulations.

BASE COURSE FOR WMM — Supplying <(>&<)> laying, spreading and compacting clean, crushed,graded aggregate 63mm to 45mm granular material, for base coursepremixed with water, to a dense mass on a prepared sub-base. Thematerial shall be laid in one or more layers as necessary to lines,grades and cross-sections shown as in drawings <(>&<)> as directed bythe Owner / Consultant. The thickness of a single compacted wet mixmacadam sub base layer shall not be less than 75mm and laid in 3 layers.When vibrating or other approved types of compacting equipment are used,the compacted depth of a single layer of the base course may beincreased to 200mm upon approval of the Owner / Consultant. The workshall be carried out as per clause 406 of MORTH and specifications allcomplete as per specifications, drawings and as per the directions ofEngineer-in-charge

PCC/RCC - M10 — CONCRETE - P.C.C. M10 Providing, mixing and laying blinding layer of PCCnominal mix using 40mm and downgraded coarse aggregate for any thicknessbelow footings, plinth beams, G.F.slab, pilecaps, foundations, trenches,pits <(>&<)> sumps etc. as levelling course, filling material, usingOrdinary Portland cement/ Portland Pozzolana Cement, curing includingshuttering, tamping, ramming, vibrating, etc., complete, as perdrawings, specifications and as directed by Engineer in Charge.

PCC/RCC -BELOW GROUND- — CONCRETE - R.C.C (Cast in situ) with admixtures and without corrosioninhibitors For depth not exceeding 5m below ground (FGL) Provid ing,mixing and placing in position R.C.C. design mix conforming to Grade M30of IS 456 : 2000 using Ordinary Portland Cement/ Portland PozzolonaCement with 20mm and down graded coarse aggregates in foundations,equipment foundations, beams, floors, slab, lintel, can opies, portals,pardis, walls (vertical/circular in Plan) box culverts, sills and othercast-in-situ works including providing pockets for shear key (ifrequired) vibrating, tamping, curing, addition of plasticizers(ifrequired) providing recesses, chamfering, etc., c omplete as perdrawings, specifications and as directed by Engineer in Charge.(Reinforcement and shuttering to be paid separately).

STRUCT.- M30 — CONCRETE - R.C.C (Cast in situ) with admixtures and without corrosioninhibitors For above ground (FGL) Providing, mixing and placing inposition R.C.C. design mix conforming to Grade M30 of IS 456 : 2000using Ordinary Portland Cement/ Portland Pozzolona Cement with 20mm anddown graded coarse aggregates in foundations, equipment foundations,beams, floors, slab, lintel, canopies, portals, pardis, walls(vertical/circular in Plan) box culverts, sills and other cast-in-situworks including providing pockets for shear key (if requ ired) vibrating,tamping, curing, addition of plasticizers(if required) providingrecesses, chamfering, etc., complete as per drawings, specifications andas directed by Engineer in Charge. (Reinforcement and shuttering to bepaid separately).

PAVING CONCRTE WORK — Providing and laying Reinforced Concrete in Grade M30 for Type-1 Pavingin any Shape / Location / Type / Thickness for specified concrete gradeusing ordinary Portland cement and 20mm and down size graded crushedstone aggregates, including all earthworks in filling / excavation asnecessary (no extra payment shall be made for excavation and backfillingworks done along with paving), sub-grade compaction with base-courselaid in layers if required by relevant specifications or drawings,casting of reinforced concrete slab in alternate panels, formation ofrequired slopes, leaving pockets, if necessary, making recess/ drains,kerbs, shuttering, tamping, curing all inclusive. Supplying and layingof construction/ expansion joints / isolation joints, finishing the topsurface smooth, Providing the Drains for Floors, etc. all completeincluding the Supply and Laying of Admixtures as per drawings,specifications and directions of Engineer- in charge.
