REPAIRS TO JOINT FILLING, PAINTING AND OTHER MISCELLANEOUS WORKS IN RUNWAY AT 11 BRD AF STN OJHAR

M & L for repairs to broken edges of following types of joints by taking out existing sealing compound from existing joints of taxi track/ pavement/ hard standing etc with a racker to full depth as required and cleaning of joints by means of compressed air and removing the same away from taxi track to a distance exc 500m but n exc 1000m as directed, and filling of Joints 15mm wide and 20mm deep primed with polyurethene based sealent and filled with cold applied fuel resistant polyurethene sealing compound approved make including supply and laying backer rod where required to maintain depth of joint 20 mm complete all as specified and as directed. Make : M/s Chouksay / CIPY or equivalent

All as per item No 1 above but Joints 25mm wide and 20mm deep Notes for Item No 1 - (i) The width size of existing old joint , at site may be varied + & - (plus & minus) 3 mm which shall be kept in mind while quoting the rates. No price adjustment shall be made to + (plus) or – (minus) 3mm in width. The depth of joint shall be maintained by providing baker rod which is included in unit rates. (ii) The finished level of sealed joist shall be on an average 3 mm below the top surface of the pavement/ hard standing / taxi track.complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for preparation of previously treated surfaces by scrapping down with wire brushes to receive painting and painting lines, arrows, letters etc on road, pavement, hard standing and the like not exceeding 10cm wide with two coats of water based exterior Acrylic emulsion marking paint in colours of white or yellow or red complete all as specified and as directed. Make : Best quality of Asian/Berger/Indigo

Preparation of old painted surfaces of steel and iron or other epoxy floor surfaces of any description, over 10 cm in width or girth, not otherwise described include for all necessary preparatory work required and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over one coat of primer to truss upto height 16 mtr complete all as specified and directed by Engineer in charge. (i) Contractor shall make own arrangement for climbing and working on hangars not exceeding 16 mtr ht.

M&L for cutting of vegetation, grass shrubs grown above ground level on both sides of runway shoulders,taxitrack,hangars, aircraft manoeuvring areas using mechanical/manually and removing the same from the siteand depositing outside MD land complete all as specified and directed. Note :- The work shall be carried out once a week in the months of Jul-Sep and once in remaining months or as and when directed by Engr in charge.

De-silting/cleaning of silt deposited in storm water drains and disposing of the same outside MD land , including removing and refixing of cover slabs where ever necessary complete all as specified and directed. NOTE :- The frequency of drain cleaning will be as and when directed by Engr-in-charge.

Demolition of Brickwork or stone/boulder masonry, built in cement mortar including gall quoins, arches, pillars,etc, but excluding ashlar facings, dressed stonework and precast concrete articles

M&L Brick work with subclass `B' bricks, straight or curved on plan exc 6m mean radius, built in CM 1 : 6 all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge

Labour only for brickwork (except bricks) straight or curved on plan exc 6m mean radius, built in CM 1 : 6 all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge

M&L for PCC type B0 in 1:2:4 ( using 12.5mm graded aggregate) as in coping, bed block and surface channel of drain all as specified and directed by Engr in Charge

Demolition cement concrete of any description and in any position not otherwise specification provided for including PCC of existing roof, PCC tiles with screed bed and removing the demolished material outside MoD land at own arrangements of contractor.

M & L for rendering 15 mm thick in CM 1:4 on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-In-Charge

Removing of building materials & debries of any type the rate included i.e loading ,unloading and stacking/spreading etc outside of MD land upto 1 km with own arrangement by Contractor.
