Earth work in excavation for foundation of structures as per drawings and technical specifications, including setting out, construction of shoring and bracing, removal of stumps and other deleterious matter, dressing of sides and bottom and backfilling with approved material - Oridnary Soil - Mechanical Means - Depth upto 3 metres including the cost of labour hire charge of hydraulic excavator and overhead charges.

Boring , providing and installing bored cast -in-situ reinforced cement concrete piles of grade M-25 of specified diameter and length below the pile cap, to carry a safe working load not less than specified, excluding the cost of steel reinforcement but including the cost of boring, with bentonite solution and temporary casing of appropriate length for setting out and removal of same and the length of the pile to be embedded in the pile cap etc. all complete , including removal of excavated earth with all lifts and leads (length of pile for payment shall be measured upto bottom of pile cap) - 600 mm dia piles

Plain cement concrete in open foundation complete as per drawing and technical specifications - PCC Grade M15 with a minimum cement content of 275 kg / cum including the cost of labour, material hire charge for concrete mixer, electric gen set, form work and overhead charges.

Cement concrete for reinforced concrete in pile cap complete as per drawing and technical specifications - RCC grade M35 with a minimum cement content of 422 kg / cum -(Using Concrete mixer) including all machineries and formwork.

Reinforced Cement Concrete in substructure complete as per drawing and technical specification -RCC Grade M35 with a minimum cement content 422 kg / cum for height upto 5m - Using batching plant (Formwork-10%).

Pile load test on single vertical pile in accordance with IS:2911 (Part -IV) - Initial and routine load test

Furnishing and placing reinforced cement concrete in superstructure as per drawing and technical specifications - RCC grade M35 / PSC grade M35 with a minimum cement content 422 kg / cum - Using batching plant, transit mixer and concrete pump - for solid slab superstructure - height upto 5m-including all machineries and formwork,etc.,

Plaing Cement Concrete in substructure complete as per drawing and technical specification - PCC Grade M20 with a minimum cement content 344 kg / cum upto 5 metre height-including the cost of labour ,material, machinery and formwork.

Drilling 150mm diameter bore holes in all types of soils except boulders , weathered / hard rocks , conducting the following field and laboratory tests and furnishing the detailed report consisting of site plan showing the locations of the bore holes with R.L .of the locations with a reference bench mark , bore logs , field & laboratory test results , recommendations for the depths & types of foundations allowable safe bearing capacities / pile carrying capacities etc .in triplicate all as per the procedures given in the relevant I.S.codes (the rate includes mobilisation and demobilisation charges) A) Field work: (i) Conducting standard penatration test at regular intervals of 1m upto 4m depth & of 1.5m interval in further depths and change of layers . (ii) Collecting disturbed soil samples in case of cohesionless soil layers and undisturbed soil samples in case of cohesive soil layers (the representative samples shall be at every 0.5m interval including the soil recovered from split spoon sampler). (iii) Observing and recording ground water table .(iv) Collecting water sample for conducting chemical analysis if the ground water is present at or above the depth of foundations . B) Laboratory tests:(i) Grain size analysis , (ii) Atterberg's Limits , (iii) Free swell tests , (iv) Unit weight , (v) Water content (vi) Shear test / UCC test (vii) Consolidation test - upto 10 m depth from the ground level or 3m into the very dense / very hard soil strata with N value more than 50, whichever is met earlier (If the observed N values are more than 50 , the same shall be ascertained in further depths of minimum 3 m at 1m intervals and if the observed N vlues are 50 or less , the test shall be continued again upto 10m depth or into the very dense / very hard strata for 3 more metres)

Cement concrete 1:4:8 mix with stone aggregate 40mm nominal size in foundation upto a depth of 1.5 metres below ground level and upto height of 1.5 above ground/bed level.

Extra for laying concrete in or under water and /or liquid mud including cost of pumping or bailing out water and removing slush etc. complete (Note: The quantity will be calculated by multiplying the depth measured from the subsoil water level upto centre of gravity of concrete under sub soil water level with quantity of concrete in cum executed under the sub-soil water. The depth of centre of gravity shall be reconed correct to 0.10 m ,0.05 m or more shall be taken as 0.10 m and less than 0.05 m ignored.

Earth work in rough excavation and dressing up in embankement by using machinery for roads , flood banks, marginal banks and guide banks or filling up ground depression within a initial lead of 50m and lift upto 6m in all kinds of soil (Payment shall be made based on levels)

Conveyance of excavated earth with in a lead of 5km radius beyond the initial lead of 50m and filling up in embankments for roads , flood banks , marginal banks etc. in all kinds of soils. The quantity of conveyed earth shall be calculated based on level and the total quantity shall be reduced by 20% for the purpose of payment
