Supplying, laying, jointing and testing XLPE insulated, armoured, heavy duty, electric cable with stranded aluminium conductor 1100 volts grade, cross sectional area 95 Sqmm x 3.5 core in trenches /along poles/on wall etc, complete all as specified and as directed Notes for item No 1. : (i) Excavation and earth work, sand cushioning, protection covers shall be measured and paid for separately. (ii) Unless otherwise directed by the GE, the cable shall be procured by the contractor in single length (as manufactured) to meet the actual length of cable as required at site. However, for payment purpose, the length actually ordered & laid shall be measured and paid for.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25cm thick in layers, complete all as specified and directed.

Removal of surplus spoil to a distance not exceeding 50 metre and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 metre above the starting point, complete all as specified and directed.

M& L for Sand cushioning in trenches for cushioning of underground cable including spreading, levelling, well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm in thickness, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for well burnt Sub-class 'B' old size bricks, best quality locally available laid flat, dry in trenches for cable protection, complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing GI tubing, light grade, 100mm bore for protection of cable under road crossing, across drain, along electric pole or floor /wall etc, complete all as specified and directed. Note for Item No. 10 : Excavation & Earthwork/Boring/ Drilling shall be measured & paid for separately. However the cost for provision of clamps made from mild steel flat of required size, bolts, nuts, washers etc (including painting of mild steel surfaces with 2 coats of aluminium paint over 1 coat of red oxide primer) for fixing of G.I. pipes with poles etc shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rate of above item.

All as per item No 10 above but 50 mm bore tubing.

Dismantling of existing Over Head Aluminium conductor steel reinforced, stretched over the poles etc, complete all as specifed and directed.

Dismantling of existing cross arms, bracings, supports, clamps and back plates fabricated from structural steel sections including nuts, bolts, washers, fixed over the poles etc, complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling of insulators of any grade, description and size from the poles etc, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply, providing and testing PVC Insulated, weather proof, FRLS, PVC sheathed cables with multistranded bright annealed copper conductor of size 1.5 Sqmm 3 core for connection of light fittings to pole light junction box, cable laid through & including PVC conduit pipe of 20mm dia, heavy grade duly fixed with provision of suitable MS clamps, bolts, nuts etc, also including taking down old ones, complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repair and testing of factory made thermoplastic weather proof, street light junction box of size 230(L) x 170 (B) x 105 (D) mm with IP-65 protection having 01 Number DIN Rail for mounting of MC, also provided with 01 Number MCB, SP, 6 Amps, 10 KA breaking capacity, "C" curve & two openings with & including cable glands for termination of cable & fixing with the provision of suitable sized MS clamps etc to poles, complete all as specified and as directed.

(b) Cost for provision of any other item (s)/ accessories/ components as per manufacturer instructions & as directed by the GE for the functional requirement and entire completion of the work/ item, shall also be deemed to be included in the quoted rate of above item. (c) Suitable openable doors shall be provided for all the operational switch gear & MCCB's and detacthable cover shall be provided on all other accessories. (d) The cost of making connection with provision of copper lugs with the existing cable shall also be deemed to be included in the quoted rate of above item. Dismantling existing unserviceable LT Panel Board/ Feeder Pillar Box/ Busbar Feeder Pillar Box (including dismantling of broken/damaged portion of foundation/platform/plinth/blocks etc) and disposing of the debris outside the premises, complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling/ taking out existing unserviceable Earthing comprising of earthing plate/ electrode, cover, pit etc including necessary excavation & earth work and disposing of the debris out outside the premises, complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for cement concrete (1:3:6) type C-2 (using 40mm graded stone aggrgate) for foundation etc, complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for cement concrete (1:4:8) type D-1 (Using 40mm graded stone aggregates) for foundation etc, complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down old unserviceable existing XLPE insulated, heavy duty electric cables with aluminium conductor 11000 volts grade including aluminium lugs, pipes from the trenches /duct/ any other location, complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- Excavation and earth work shall be measured and paid for separately.

Supply, laying in trenches, existing ducts, any other location and testing XLPE insulated, screened PVC bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armoured electric power cables (hevy duty) with aluminium conductor 11000 volts grade (Earthed) of size 120 Sqmm 3 core, complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Excavatioin and earth work, sand cushioning, protection covers, protection pipes and jointing kits (including jointing materials) shall be measured and paid for separately.

M&L for earthing complete of advance encapsulated compound based (CPRI tested) maintenance free, pipe-in-pipe technology upgraded (Zinc & Alloy coated). Zinc coated (80-100) microns with pure zinc(99.9%) & alloy coating (200-250) microns. Earthing system shall be conforming to IS-3034, the outer and inner pipe shall be 76.2mm & 41.9mm dia, 3 metre length Zinc coated with additional special alloy coating 300mm on the topside for additional protection of the terminal, annular space between the pipes being filled up with compact fill (CF) (Crystalline conductive compound). The compact fill (CF) mixture shall be machine pressed in the pipes and should not disintegrate or collapse when outer pipe corrodes. The inner pipe shall be extended with terminals for connectivity. The job includes digging the pits of 300mm diameter and refilling the same with 4 bags (25 Kgs/bag) electrodite/ conductolite back fill comopound (Ground Enhancer). The BFC shall be eco friendly, it shall not contain environmentally hazard materials having ROHS certification from NABL accredited lab. The earth pit shall also be provided with earth pit cover for protection and safe guard of terminals. The earth electrode (the main component of the earthing system) which is in direct contact with the ground shall be able to provide a means of releasing or collecting earth leakage current. The materials shall have good electrical conductivity & anti-corrosion property in wide rage of soil condition and testing on completion including replacing the existing soil with black soil for 80cm dia (Black soil shall be filled for total 80cm dia - 30cm dia of earth pit) (for the total depth of pit) around the 300mm dia pit, Make : ASHLOK Model –ASEEL-39 ZC & AC (zinc & Alloy) or equivalent as approved by the GE. complete all as specified and as directed. Note : Earth results obtained should be minimum 01 Ohm.

S&F in repair, 11 KV, 400 Amps, out door, tilting type, 9 insulators, manually operated, gang operated, air break off load disconnecting switch, triple pole, each consists of galvanized channel base HT insulator,non - ferrous knife and spring loaded contacts, arcing horn of adequate section to break magnetizing current of the transformer, horizontal GI pipe, heavy grade of adequate length for phase separation and for operation from ground level and operating handle, complete with locking arrangement on both ON and OFF position, all ferrous parts shall be hot dipped galvanized and non ferrous parts heavily tinned to withstand weather suitable for vertical mounting and conforming to IS 1818-1961, complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down, repairing & overhauling of Air Break isolator with DO Fuse Unit, 33 KV rating, 400 Amp capacity, triple pole, mechanically operated, mounted on insulators and steel frame, installed vertically/ horizontally, replacement of broken/ worn out components, oiling and greasing of mechanical moving parts, smoothing and polishing of electric contracts with conducting jelly, re-fixing the same after repairing & overhauling, including proper alignment, complete all as specified and as directed by GE. Supply, fixing in repair & testing, 33 KV, single phase, out door, oil cooled, Current Transformer of ratio 200-100-50/5-5 Amp, class 1.0-5P, 10 burden, 15 VA insulation, 70 KV/170 KV, including first filling of transformer/ insulation oil conforming to IS : 335 and of dielectric strength 40 KV as per IS : 1866,complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply, fixing in repair & testing, 33 KV, 50 HZ, oil immersed, Potential Transformer for metering and protection, single phase, outdoor type, ratio 33000/110/^3 volt, rated burden 200 VA, accuracy class 3, Phase as per IS:3156 for protection with & including first filling of transformer/insulation oil conforming to IS : 335 and of dielectric strength 40 KV as per IS 1866, complete with & including all accessories, mounted with & including provision of new bolts, nuts, check nuts, washers etc on the existing fabricated steel structure and also making connection, complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for preparation of old rusted steel exposed surfaces of HT swaged poles of 11m length, cross arms, brackets, cable protection pipe etc mounted on poles, applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint upto 1.2 metre height as per the existing pattern above the P.C.C coping & one coat of aluminium paint beyond 1.2 metre height (for the remaining exposed surfaces) of the poles as well as on the exposed surfaces of cross arms, brackets etc mounted on the poles, re-writing pole numbers and cutting vegetation growth all around the poles upto 1 metre radius, including replacement of self adhesive fluorescent colour tape as per existing pattern and size, complete all as specified and directed.

M & L removing of rust from the existing mild steel structure surfaces for the bus-bar bay No 3 & 4 installed in the 33 KV sub-station; each bay and bus-bars with & including cables protection pipes, clamps, panels, CT, PT, isolators, channels, angles of any description & all such like surfaces, thereafter preparation of the old painted surfaces and applying one coat of 1st quality aluminium paint including writing of the particulars/ nomenclature with white paint 10 cm height over a rectangular surface of black synthetic enamled paint, complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for cross arms, bracings, supports, clamps and back plates fabricated from structural steel sections including nuts, bolts, washers, welding, bending cold or hot, drilling holes for bolts, in any shape or size as indicated or directed and inclusive of preparation of exposed surfaces, application of one coat of red oxide primer and thereafter 2 coats of aluminium paint, complete all as specified and directed.

Boring/Drilling (horizontally) using ultrasound technique and necessary machine for passing 100mm bore pipe for protection of the cable at 1 metre depth in soil below existing road, pavement, hard standing etc without damaging the existing surfaces, getting out & disposal of soil to a distance not exceeding 50 metre from the site of work, complete all as specified and directed. Note : Cost for provision of pipes & cable not included in the scope of above item.
