Excavation in earth work in heights and depths, in all kind of soil including saturated soil comprising of mixed soil, ordinary rock and hard rock and all work of rock cutting by blasting shall be carried out by taking all necessary precautions against soil erosion, damage to hill side, water pollution, etcetra. and to protect stability of hill side, the track shall be excavated with chiseling and wedging out rock (where blasting is prohibited). All earth work in cutting/excavation, including rock excavation shall be carried out true to lines, grades, side slopes, width, camber, super-elevation and level as shown on the drawings or as directed by the Engineer-in-charge, in conformity with the requirement of technical specification for Rural Road, clause 1603.1 and 1603.2 of General Conditions for Contract to achieve designed formation width including hauling and stacking of material useful for construction at suitable sites and safe disposal and dumping to be arranged by the contractor of unsuitable cut materials in specified manner, trimming, filling of unevenness, blindage and finishing of the road to specified dimensions or as directed by the Engineer-in-charge for smooth riding. The recovery for stones, whether useful or not, for 10535.98 cum (Ten Thousand Five Hundred Thirtyfive and point Nine Eight Cubic Metre) shall be made in all cases, otherwise recovery at the Rate of Rupees 170/- only (Rupees one hundred seventy only) per cubic meter shall be effected on pro-rata base. Any loss to the public and private property during the course of excavation shall be the absolute responsibility of the contractors, which shall compensated by him in all cases.

Excavation in soil in hilly area by mechanical means including cutting and trimming of side slopes and disposing of excavation earth within all lifts and leads as per MORD technical specification clause 1603.2 and the directions of Engineer-in-charge.

Earth work in excavation for structure as per drawing and MORD technical specification clause 305.1 i/c setting out construction of shoring and bracing removal of stumps and other deterious materials and dispoal upto all leads, dressing of 4 sides and bottom and back filling in tranches with excavated suiable material as per the directions of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and laying cement concrete 1:6:12 nominal mix (1 Cement : 6 Sand and 12 graded crushed stone aggregate 40 milimetre nominal size) mechanically mixed and vibrated in open foundation complete as per drawing and MORD technical specification clause 802, 803, 1202 & 1203 including carriage of materials with in all leads and lifts as per direction of the Engineer-In-Charge.

Providing and laying plain cement concrete 1:4:8 (1 Cement 4 :Sand: 8 graded crushed stone aggregate 25 milimetre nominal size) mechanically mixed and vibrated in open foundation complete as per drawing and MORD technical specification clauses 802, 803, 1202 & 1203 including carriage of materials with in all leads and lifts as per direction of the Engineer-In-Charge.

Providing and Laying cement concrete grade M-10 (Ten) nominal mix 1:3:6 (1 Cement : 3 sand : 6 graded crushed stone aggregate 20 milimetre nominal size) mechanically mixed and vibrated in open foundation complete as per drawing and MORD technical specification clause 802, 803, 1202 and 1203 including carriage of material within all leads and lifts and as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and laying reinforced cement concrete pipe NP-2 (Two) 900mm (Nine Hundred millimetre) dia for culverts on first class bedding of granular material in single row including fixing collar with cement mortar 1:2 (One Cement : Two Sand) but excluding excavation, protection work, back filling, concrete and masonry work in head walls and parapets complete as per drawing and MORD technical specification clause 1108 including carriage of materials with in all leads & lifts and as per direction of Engineer-In-Charge.

Providing and laying plain/reinforced cement concrete in superstructure complete as per drawings and MORD technical specification clauses 800, 1205.4 and 1205.5 RCC Grade M-25 (1:1.5:3) (One cement isto one point five sand isto three graded stone agreegate 10 mm to 20 mm nominal size.) including carriage of materials with in all leads and lifts as per direction of the Engineer-In-Charge.

Providing and laying plain/reinforced cement concrete in open foundation complete as per drawings and MORD technical specification Clauses 802, 803, 1202 and 1203 P.C.C. grade M 20 (1:2:4) (One Cement isto two Sand isto four graded crushed stone aggregate 20 milimetre nominal size) mechanically mixed and vibrated including all lead & lifts complete as per directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing weapholes in brick masonry / stone masonry /plain reinforced concrete abutment, wing wall, return wall with 100 mm dia PVC pipe extending through the full with of the structures with slop of 1(v):20(H) towards drawing face complete as per drawing and MORD technical specification clauses 614, 709, 1204.3.7 including carriage of materials with in all leads and lifts as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Back filling behind abutment, wing wall and return wall and retaining wall with granular material complete as per drawings and MORD technical specification Clause 1204.3.8 (One thousand Two Hundred Four point Three Point Eight) including carriage of materials with in all leads and lifts as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Construction of RCC railing of M-25 grade in construction with 20 mm nominal size aggregate to line and grade tolerance of vertical railing post not to exceed 1 in 500, center to center spacing between vertical post not to exceed 200 mm as drawing and MORD technical specification clause 800, 900 adn 1208.3 including carriage of materials with in all leads and lifts as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply fitting and placing HYSD bar reinforcement in super structure as per drawing and technical specification clause 1002, 1010 and 1202 including carriage of materials with in all leads and lifts as per direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Preparation of sub-graded by dressing to camber (earth work) for the cutting involved for sub-graded to be paid for separately depending upon classification of soil completed as per HPPWD Specifications including carriage of materials as per direction of Engineer-In-Charge.

Consolidation of sub grade with road rolled including making good the un-dulation etc with earth or quarry soil etc. and re-rolling the sub-graded completed HPPWD Specifications as per the direction of Engineer in Charges.

Stone solling properly hand packed filling interstices with kharanja stone and consolidating with power road roller to the required gradient and camber including spreading and consolidation of binding material moorums or earth etc. complete as per HPPWD specification 150 mm spread thickness (finished work i/c material and labour) including carriage of material upto all leads and lifts as per the directions of Engineer-in-Charge.

Construction of unlined surface drains of average x-section area 0.40 sqmt. In soil to specified lines, grade, levels and diamension, excavated material to be used in embankments within all lifts and leads as per MORD technical specification clause 307 and directions of Engineer-in-Charge.

Reinforced cement concrete M15 grade kilometer stone / local stone of standard design as per IRC:8 fixing in position including painting and printing, etc as per drawing and technical specification clause 1703 (1) ordinary km. stone (precast)

Providing and laying of boulder apron laid in wire crates with 4 mm dia. G.I. wire conforming to IS:280 and IS:4826 in 100 mm x 100 mm mesh (woven diagonally) including 10% extra for laps and joint laid with stone boulder weighing not less than 25 kg each as per drawing and MORD technical specification clause 1301 including carriage of material upto all leads and lifts as per the directions of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and fixing of typical informatory sign board as per MORD specifications and drawing. Three MS plates of 1.6 mm thick, top and middle plate duly welded with MS flat iron 25 mm x 5mm size on back on edge. The lower plate will be welded with MS angle iron frame of 25mm*25mm*5mm, the angle iron frame of the lower most plate and flat iron frame of middle plate will welded to 2 nos. 75 mm*75mm of 12SWG sheet tubes posts duly embedded in cement concrete M15 grade blocks of 450 mm*450mm*600mm, 600 mm below ground level the top most diamond plate will be welded to middle and printing arrows, border etc. will be painted with ready mix syntheticenammel on both sides. Lattering and printing arrows, border etc. will be painjted with ready mixed synthetic enamel paint of superior quality in required shades and colour. All sections framed posts and steel tube will be painted with primer and two coats of epoxy paint as per drawing clause 1701 and Annexure 1700.1 including hauling of material in all leads and lifts and as per entire satisfaction and direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and errecting direction and place identification retro-reflectorised cautionary, mandatory sign as per IRC:67 made of encapsulated lens type reflective sheeting vide clause 1701.2.3, fixed over aluminium sheeting, 2 mm thick with area not exceeding 0.90 sqm spported on a mild steel single angle iron post 75 x 75 x 6 mm firmly fixed to the ground by means of properly designed foundation with M-15 grade cement concrete 450 x 450 x 600 mm, 600 mm below ground level as per approved drawing and technical specification clause 1701
