Excavation over areas not exceeding 1.5 m deep and getting out in soft / loose soil complete all as specified and directed.
Surface dressing not exceeding 15 cm deep in soft/loose soil including removing excavated material to a distance not exceeding 50 mtr complete all as specified and directed.
Removal of excavated soil to a distance not exceeding 500m including loading and depositing as directed including stacking at various places for reuse in embankments complete all as specified and directed.
Forming embankments including raising (or lowering) earth, spreading in layers not exceeding 30 cm thick; watering, ramming/rolling and finishing to required size, shape, etc. not exceeding 1.5 m high from base (Earth will be approved by Engnr-in-Charge) complete all as specified and directed
Rolling and consolidation of formation surfaces in cutting to required gradient and camber including filling in depression and hollow, watering, levelling etc. complete using power roller exceeding 8 tonne and not exceeding 12 tonne capacity complete all as specified and as directed. NOTE: Rolling and consolidating formation surfaces in cutting to the required gradient and camber under optimum moisture conditions to achieve at least 98% of maximum dry density determined using modified proctor density determination method as per relevant IS code.
M&L for construction of granular sub base (GSB) 200 mm thick (compacted) in two layer of 100mm spread thickness each layer by providing close graded granular sub base material of grading-II as per MORTH Table 400-1, mixing in mechanical mix plant at OMC, carrying mix material to work site, spreading in uniform layers with motor grader on prepared surface and compacting with vibratory power roller of 8 to 12 tonne capacity to achieve the desired density and CBR (min 25) as per MORTH clause 401 complete all as specified and directed.
Supply and Fix mild steel round/ deformed bar (Fe 500) conforming to AISI 4130, 10mm dia and over (upto 32mm dia) as in mooring to be install along with new slab , including all necessary cutting, bending etc nd applied galvinized / corrosion resistance/ epoxy coated complete all as specified , shown on drawing and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
M&L for 200mm thick (compacted thickness) WMM with mechanical paver as per MORTH specification laid in two layers of 100mm thick (compacted thickness ) each layer, spread, rolled and consolidated to gradient and camber as required including necessary lateral support and form work, if required using crushed stone aggregate of maximum size 40 mm of grading as specified type igneous rock such as granite/trap/basalt etc complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Quoted rate shall be for 200 mm compacted thickness.
M&L for WMM 150 mm thick laid in two layers not exceeding 75 mm thick ,each layer (compacted thickness )with mechanical paver as per MORTH specification , spread, rolled and consolidated to gradient and camber as required including necessary lateral support and form work, if required using crushed stone aggregate of maximum size 40mm of grading as specified type igneous rock such as granite/trap/basalt etc as base course for paved shoulder complete all as specified and directed.
M&L for plain cement concrete (1: 1.5: 3) type A-1 (using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate ) as in shoulder 100mm thick complete all as specified and directed
M&L for 10 mm thick layer of sand including watering and rolling over DLC all as specified and directed.
M&L for 150 mm thick (compacted thickness) dry lean concrete (DLC) Design Mix (M-15) in single layer with 7 days compressive strength as 10 N/Sqmm with minimum cement (OPC) content 240 Kg / Cum of concrete with necessary joints as per MORTH specification all as per IRC:SP-49-1998 including form work if required and rolling complete to achieve desired density and strength complete all as specified and directed. Note: In the event of increase in cement content as per design mix formula, nothing extra shall be admissible and quoted rates are deemed to include for the same.
M&L for 400 micron transparent High Density Polyetyhlene (HDPE) film sheet Grade I conforming to IS-10889 laid over sand layer complete all as specified and directed. Note:-(i) Side lap of 150 mm and end lap of 300 mm shall be provided wherever required. The rate quoted shall be deemed included for the laps. (ii) Clear area only shall be considered for payment purpose and nothing extra shall be allowed for laps.
M&L for 290 mm thick pavement quality concrete (PQC) as per design mix using crushed stone aggregate having minimum field flexural strength of 45 Kg/Sq cm with and including non circular/triangular synthetic fibre as per manufacturer’s instructions @0.25 % by weight of cement ( minimum cement content shall be 400 Kg / cum using OPC) laid to level, gradient and camber, spread. paved, compacted & finished using mechanical (Mechanical Fixed form paver) including necessary form work complete all as specified and directed. Note: (i) In the event of increase in cement content as per design mix formula, nothing extra shall be admissible and quoted rates are deemed to include for the same. (ii) Non-circular synthetic fibres shall be measured and paid separately as supply only under respective item of BOQ.Design mix to be prepared after incorporating fibre.
Supply only non circular synthetic fibres of length 12 mm, designed for melting point of 240 'C -260 'C and having specific gravity 1.34 to 1.40, UV stable and alkali resistant( as per ASTM C 1116-02 and ICAO AC 32) to be used up to 0.25% by weight of cement complete all as per manufacturer's specification and as specified and directed by GE.
M&L for forming 25 mm wide expansion joints to full depth of pavement concrete slab (depth of slab 290 mm) and primed and filled with and including compressible closed cell premoulded high performance joint filler board HD-100 (Sil Flex Dura board HD 100 of Supreme make or any other make as approved by E in C's Branch ) and provision of closed cell polyethylene back up rod 30 mm dia , and top 15 mm primed and sealed with and using polyurethane based sealing compound (Polyurethane joint sealant complying with BS5212 & BS 4254 and EN 141875-2003(for hydrolysis/ water resistance test) with suitable primer as per manufacturer's recommendation complete all as specified and as directed with minimum MAF±30 % (with ten years performance guarantee ) and applying masking tape on edges of joint to prevent accidental spillage of sealant and removing the masking tape after sealant is applied by mechanical means including cutting edge of existing pavements for forming expansion joints between existing and proposed slab,if required with bull nosing of edges front of joint not exceeding 5mm wide complete all as apecified & directed. . Note : (i) Expansion joints shall be provided at spacing not exceeding 36 m as directed by GE. The expansion joints shall be cut to full depth and shall be formed as described here in above at locations as directed by GE, if the slabs are casted for longer lengths. The cost of full depth cutting as required for forming expansion joints at such locations shall also be deemed included in the contractor's quoted rate for above item. (ii) Filling of joints shall be done by a mechanized system. (iii) Compressible rubber filler board are not to be measured and paid separately and their rates shall be included in the quoted rate of this item.

M & L for forming dummy joint cutting 8mm wide and 80mm deep with diamond cutter, two coats of priming and providing a 10 mm dia with debonding tape and top 15 mm primed and sealed with and using polyurethane based sealing compound (polyurethane joint sealant complying with BS5212 & BS 4254 and EN 141875-2003(for hydrolysis/ water resistance test)) including initial 3 mm wide saw cut upto 97 mm depth with suitable primer as per manufacturer's recommendations including minimum MAF ± 30 % (with ten years performance guarantee ) and applying masking tape on edges of joint to prevent accidental spillage of sealant and removing the masking tape after sealant is applied complete all as specified and directed.
M & L for forming dummy joint cutting with diamond cutter to a depth of 33mm and 8mm wide, 02 coats of priming and providing a 10 mm dia with debonding tape and top 13 mm primed and sealed with and using polyurethane based sealing compound (polyurethane joint sealant complying with BS5212 & BS 4254 and EN 141875-2003(for hydrolysis/ water resistance test)) with suitable primer as per manufacturer's recommendations including minimum MAF ± 30 % (with ten years performance guarantee ) and applying masking tape on edges of joint to prevent accidental spillage of sealant and removing the masking tape after sealant is applied complete all as specified and directed.
M & L for forming construction joint 25 mm deep and 8 mm wide (using diamond cutter ), primed and providing a 10mm dia polystyrene back up rod/debonding strip and top 15mm primed and sealed and using polyurethane based sealing compound complying with BS5212 & BS 4254 and EN 141875-2003(for hydrolysis/ water resistance test) pumping the sides with minimum MAF+ 30 % ( with 10 years performance guarantee) and primer of specified make as per manufacturer's recommendation complete with bullnosing of edges of front of joint not exceeding 5mm wide complete all as specified and as directed..
