DECK SHEETING: 1. Designing, supplying, fabricating and providing of trapezoidal roll formed deck sheeting profiles of 50mm depth made of galvanised steel troughed metal decking plate over cross girders/supports for cast-in-situ deck slab of ROB. Thickness of deck plate shall be 1.00mm (minimum) and shall serve as permanent shuttering to deck slab of 250mm (max) thickness 1 measured over crest of metal decking and shall have adequate strength to support the weight of green concrete and imposed loads during concreting over a span of 2000mm between supports. Deck sheets t o b e embossed t o facilitate enhanced sheet t o concrete bonding with contractor's all materials, men, equipment, tools and plant, fixing arrangements, all lead and lift and the work to be carried out above Railway tracks and 25 KV OHE electrified area without affecting Railway traffic and damage to Railway properties as directed by Engineering-charge. Supplying and providing well graded crushed aggregate as drainage bay backing along 2 the retaining wall/ RE Wall including supplying and providing perforated drainage pipes connecting to the nearby drain including compaction of the filled material at a specified layer thickness as per MORTH specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-charge
Filling coarse grained soil/earth in embankment for road approach as per approved reinforcement earth technology behind the precast facia panels with contractors supply of back fill materials which shall be free from organic or other deleterious materials and shall conform to the mechanical and physio-chemical requirements including mechanical compaction as per MORTH specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-charge
Casting and laying in position M35 grade pre cast concrete facia panel/pre cast CC blocks with architectural finish of suitable size and thickness as per approved drawing, but not less than minimum 140mm charge thick excluding architectural finishes and including (Earth work excavation for foundation, providing initial leveling pad (minimum 150mm thick and having suitable width) as necessary, using M15 grade plain cement concrete. BASE PIPE FOR FIXING OF ELECTRICAL POLES : Providing and fixing MS / GI pipes 6 150mm dia (inner dia) for fixing the electrical poles to the crash barrier including all materials, labour, lead and lift with two coats of red-oxide paint and basement, poles should be welded with base plate complete as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Excavation along t h e alignment o f signalling cable/OFC/power cable carefully and exposing the same without any damage, and excavating the new trench along the railway alignment 9 or along the alignment as specified by the railway Engineer-in-charge, laying or removed cable, filling up all complete with sand and laying a layer of brick with contractor's own material, tools and plants etc., as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. NOTE: 1. In case the cable is damaged cost of restoration and the cost of cable will be recovered from the contractor. The decision of the railways with regard the cost to be recovered will be final.
METAL BEAM CRASH BARRIER: Providing and erecting a ''W' metal beam crash barrier comprising of 3 mm thick corrugated sheet metal beam rail, 70 cm above road/ground level, fixed on 10 ISMC series channel vertical post, 150 x 75 x 5 mm spaced 2 m centre to centre, 1.8 m high, 1.1 m below ground/road level, all steel parts and fitments to be galvanised by hot dip process, all fittings to conform to IS:1367 and IS:1364, metal beam rail to be fixed on the vertical post with a spacer of channel section 150 x 75 x 5 mm, 330 mm long complete as per specifications and drawing No. Dy. CE/CN/HAS/16-2014 A & B.
(i) Leading and dumping of Railway's stone ballast without rail traffic block from stacks collected on either side of formation in mid section / at yards at top of steep cuttings / side or bottom of high banks as directed; (ii) Spreading the ballast on the formation as per standard section and required cushion with extra width on curves and; (iii) Boxing of ballast to standard sectional profile. All of the above shall be executed with contractor's skilled personnel, tools and plant, vehicles, machinery, fuel, consumables, loading, unloading with all incidental charges and in all kinds of weather conditions and site conditions including crossing of tracks wherever required duly observing all safety precautions and including all ascent, descent, taxes, duties, cess, surcharges, 11 fees etc. completely as per the special conditions / specifications / regulations, as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge and as per the note(s) below. NOTES: 1. This item consists of 3 stages of payment as mentioned in the sub-items. The first 3 stages are for a lead of 150 m, the next 3 stages are for a lead between 150 m and 750 m and the last 3 stages are for a lead between 750 m and 5000 m. Dumping shall be undertaken in these 3 stages as instructed; 2. While operating sub-items d, e and f, sub- items a, b and c need not be and shall not be operated as sub-items d, e and f are all-inclusive and not extra over sub- items a, b and c. In addition, penal action shall be taken for disturbing the ballast stacks without the permission of the competent authority of Railway; 7. Insertion of railways temporary girder of 60 to 80 feet length to the running track at required line and level UNDER LINE BLOCK including linking of permanent way track on the temporary girder and connecting the same to the linked track on either ends of the temporary girder with contractors men and materials including jacks etc., required for the work. The work includes laying of sleeper matting and building up of the crib staging under one line block as per the approved drawing and side slewing of the temporary girder with track assembled over it, all complete including 17 dismantling to the required length and removal of the existing ballast from the track under second line block working. The released sleepers should be stacked neatly nearby and the P.way fittings are to be handed over to SE/P.way / CN / BNC at SBC. The line block work may have to be carried out in night times depending on the availability of the block. No extra payment will be made for this. The cribs and sleepers required for matting and cribs staging should be transported from SE/CN/ST/SBC by the contractor with his own vehicles, labours at his own cost . No hire charges the cribs and sleepers used for this staging. The contractor has to make sufficient arrangements for lighting for night working if required. No additional payment will be made for such arrangements.
Removal of temporary girder from the track including removal of crib staging, sleeper matting , dismantling temporary girder duly removing the fish plated joints at the approaches, spreading of ballast over the prepared formation , linking of track and connecting to the approach alignment at required line and level and giving one round of packing all under LINE BLOCK , with contractors labour , tools and plants complete as instructed by the Engineer-in-charge. Note.: 1) The released temporary girder should be trucked out to the nearest station and stacked clear of the track at the location as instructed by the Engineer- in- charge. 2) Dumping of ballast and linking of track shall be paid separately under relevant schedule. Design, manufacturing, supplying Cubic and fixing in position elastomeric Centimetre b e a r i n g true to line and level conforming to IS:3400, IS:226, BS- 5400 under prestressed concrete girders/ Steel Girders, for Pre-cast as well as cast-in-situ girders as per approved drawing. The rate shall include cost of load test of one no. bearing from Railway approved firms and all fixing materials, equipments, machineries, labour, taxes, loading, unloading, leading, lifting etc. complete. Rates include getting the drawing approved from Railway and cost of inspection during manufacturing from railway approved organization.Note : 1. The rate is for finished item complete and paid only after fixing in position below the girder. 2. The volume shall be as given in the drawing and no deduction shall be made for inserted steel plates etc. Providing and fixing in position of standard preformed sealed and slab type or strip seal elastomeric type expansion joints for Railway bridge or Road Over Bridges as per approved drawings and latest MORTH/IRC specifications complete in all respect as directed by Engineer in-charge.

For 80mm expansion BANGALORE DIVISION-GATI SHAKTI/SOUTH WESTERN RLY Load testing of one or more spans of bridge as selected by the Engineer as per approved load test procedure following relevant IS/IRC/Railway codes with contractor's labour, deflection measuring instruments, loading materials, recording and analyzing the load testing results including all lead & lift, etc. complete as required. The rates are all inclusive and will be paid after load test is finished and girder is cleared of the kentledges/loading material etc. The load shall be 1.25 times the stipulated design load.
For Span design load up to 100 MT
Extra for every increase of 1 MT or MT part thereof over 100 MT in the span design load capacity up to 800 MT Launching of precast RCC box segments for RUBs/Limited Height Subways (LHS) of any size and barrel length for single/double line as per approved drawings to the correct alignment and position in electrified / non-electrified sections safeguarding all utilities ( S&T cable, power cable, OHE, pipelines etc.) including transportation of box segments from casting yard to site of launching, dismantling of the existing track, removing & stacking of ballast, cutting of formation and approach road below or above bed level, placing of base slabs & Box segments in position, backfilling after launching of precast box segment, ballasting & re-laying of track to correct alignment and geometry, packing and further maintenance till allowing non-stop 20 KMPH over the re-laid track, complete in all respect to the satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge. The rate is all inclusive except the cost of RCC Box Segments, Base Slabs and backfill material which shall either be supplied by railway or paid extra under relevant item. Note: Minimum equipment required during block shall be (i) Crawler mounted Hydraulic excavator of min 200 HP and bucket capacity 2.5 cum - 3 numbers and (ii) 3 cranes of adequate boom length suitable for launching box segments in position (min capacity of each crane - 200 MT for Single Line and 300 MT for Double Line) apart from other equipments, tools, plants and machinery required to complete the job within the allowed block period.

Boxing and profiling of ballast as per TRM procedure prescribed in latest edition of IRPWM including cess dressing on both sides of track. The work will include removing excess ballast from track and putting the same in crib and shoulder by leading to a maximum of 50m including crossing of track, deweeding on ballast section etc and as directed by Engineer-In charge.
Removing, screening and salvaging cum ballast from track, duly digging / scarifying ballast by beaters / wire brushes or any mechanical means, leveling and dressing formation with specified cross slope after salvaging ballast, separating muck by screening the salvaged ballast with contractor's 20mm size sieve, stacking of screened ballast for measurement, disposing off muck at specified locations with all lead & lifts as directed by Engineer in- charge. Note: Payment shall be made for quantity of ballast stacked after screening of retrieved ballast from track. BANGALORE DIVISION-GATI SHAKTI/SOUTH WESTERN RLY Providing Caution Watchman at a location where caution order is imposed and ensuring to be on continuous vigil and exhibit necessary hand signals to the trains for their passage over caution spot. Note: 1) Prescribed protection equipment shall be supplied by Railways and the same shall be returned after work is over. 2) If Contractor fails to post watchman at any time during one day, penalty at double the accepted rates will be levied and 3) The watchman nominated by the contractor will be screened for suitability as per Railway norms.

60 Kg - 110/90 UTS - On Running Each Line Cutting of rails with electrically operated Rail Cutting Machine in all types of rail sections, with contractor's tools & plants, equipment, consumable with all lead & lift etc. complete, as directed by Engineer in-charge as per Specifications. Machine to be fitted with monorail wheel arrangement and a handle of convenient height to enable it to be pushed over one rail by one person to take it to the work- site.
