SCHEDULE 'A' B/R Works

Taking down cement or cement lime plaster from brick wall etc including racking out joints, hacking for key & scrubbing down with water etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Demolition of brick work or stone / boulder masonry, built in cement mortar or cement lime mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars, etc, in any description including cleaning and stacking serviceable brick for re use and balance removing rubbish from the site complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Material and labour for rendering/plastering appx 15mm thick (matching with existing plaster thickness) in cement mortar (1:6) on old brick or concrete surfaces of walls/pillars /cornices in patches matching with existing, finished even and smooth without using extra cement, complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for rendering/plastering 15mm thick in cement mortar (1:4) on any face of Brick walls or concrete surfaces (external surface), finished even and smooth without using extra cement, complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for rendering/plastering appx 5mm thick (matching with existing plaster thickness) in cement mortar (1:3) on any face of ceiling in patches matching with existing, finished fair and even and smooth without using extra cement, complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for brick work with sub class ‘B’ old size burnt clay bricks, straight or curved on plan exc. 6 metre mean radius built in cement mortar (1:6) complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Material and labour for brick work with sub class ‘B’ old size bricks (old serviceable bricks obtained from demolition/dismantled item shall be reused ) straight or curved on plan exc. 6 metre mean radius built in cement mortar (1:6) complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Demolition of floor hearth or wall tilling including cement mortar bedding but not backing including removing rubbish material from building and thrown in low lying empty area (as per direcction of AGE/JE) at any distance upto 500 metres from the site complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge

Material and labour for Glazed ceramic coloured tiles of size 350mmx 250mm / 450mmX 350mm/ 450mmX 300mm, 7mm to 8mm thick, as in vertical surface set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match the shade of tile including necessary cutting as per site requirement, tiles laid over and including 10 mm thick (Av thickness) bedding layer (rendering) in cement mortar (1:4) complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for Glazed ceramic coloured tiles of size 300mmx 200mm, 7mm to 8mm thick, as in vertical surface set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match the shade of tile including necessary cutting as per site requirement, tiles laid over and including 10 mm thick (Av thickness) bedding layer (rendering) in cement mortar (1:4) complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for Non Skid ceramic coloured tiles 7 to 8 mm thick square or rectangular area of each tile exceeding 0.06 sqm but not exceeding 0.11 sqm, as in floor set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match the shade of tile including necessary cutting as per site requirement, tiles laid over and including 15 mm thick bedding layer (screed) in cement mortar (1:6) complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for Non Skid ceramic coloured tiles 7 to 8 mm thick square or rectangular area of each tile exceeding 0.11 sqm but not exceeding 0.18 sqm, as in floor set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match the shade of tile including necessary cutting as per site requirement, tiles laid over and including 15 mm thick bedding layer (screed) in cement mortar (1:6) complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for vitrified ceramic coloured tiles (light shade) 10 mm thick square or rectangular area of each tile not exceeding 0.36 sqm, as in floor, set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match the shade of tile including necessary cutting as per site requirement, tiles laid over and including 15 mm thick bedding layer (screed) in cement mortar (1:6) complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for vitrified ceramic coloured tiles (light shade) 10mm thick square or rectangular (same as floor tile, as per above item ), as in skirting, dado etc. set and jointed in neat cement slurry and pointed in white or coloured cement to match the shade of tile including necessary cutting as per site requirement, tiles laid over and including 10 mm thick bedding layer (rendering) in cement mortar (1:4) complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Demolition stone/marble slabs of any description or thickness as in floors/ cooking platform/steps etc. laid bedded and pointed in any mortar including removing rubbish material from the site complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge .

Supply and fixing 60 mm thick (M35 grade) precast interlocking tile/paving block factory casted (made by using PVC paver mould / Rubber paver moulds on Vibrating Table Machine) using grey cement and no pigment, shape haxagon / trigular / zigzag / I-shaped etc, as directed, prepolished & preglazed, specification as per relevant IS, having compressive strength not less than 350 Kg/ Sqcm, laid over sand upto required thick layer and filling the interstices etc complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note : - (i) Sand for filling shall be measured & paid separately as Supply only but labour for spreding leveling shall be included in the unit rate of this item)

Supply only Fazilka/Zera (or any other approved sources) fine sand without silt for filling under interlocking tiles and the interstices etc complete all as specified and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for PCC (1:3:6), type C-1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate as in Kerb stone/ coping/packing around chequered tiles/interlocking tiles/PCC jalli & similar work etc complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply & fixing in repair vitreous china wash down water closet pan (pedestal pattern, EWC) white clour (excluding flushing cistern and flush pipe) including connection to drain etc., including plastic water closet seat with cover (white clour) closed pattern with flat bottom and mild steel chromium plated or aluminised hinging device including stainless steel chromium plated jet spray with 01 mtr long PVC pipe with CP connector and necessary nut bolts and with necessary CP screws and plug for fixing WC complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in- charge.

Supply & fixing in repair Plastic water closet seat, any colour, closed pattern with flat bottom, and cover and mild steel chromium plated or aluminised hinging device complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in- charge.

Supply and fixing in repair/replacement 18-20mm thick block board (grade 2, interior grade quality), commercial type fixed with screws/nails/fevicol including cutting and made to shape as required including taking out old unserviceable board any type complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in- charge.

Supply and fixing plain fillets made from second class soft wood square, rectangular or trangular in section, clean sawn, sectional area exc 3 sqcm and n exc 6 sqcm fixed to timber frame with nails complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in- charge.

Supply & fixing Continuous (piano) hinges, mild steel, bright finish or electro galvanised, width of flap when open 30mm complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge .

Supply & fixing drawer pulls 3 screw plate with fixed dished pull 80mm to 100mm long brass, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge .

Supply & fixing in repair vitreous China squatting pan 'Orissa' pattern white of size 580mmx440mm white with integral foot rests and CI 'P' or 'S' trap (excluding flushing cistern, flush pipe above floor), including demolation of tile, PCC, taking out mass concrete filling and re filling PCC (1:7:12) type F2 after fixing of WC and trap with proper joints leakproof including PVC flush pipe upto finished floor level, and making good with 30mm thick cement concrete (1:2:4) type B0 finished rough as a sub base to recieved tile work and including all other connected work as required upto entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in- charge. (NOTE : Tile work with screed and Sunken floor water proofing treatment shall be measured and paid separately under appropriate item of this schedule.

Supply & fixing in replacement vitreous china wash basin, white, flat back of size 550mm x 400mm, including 32mm chromium plated waste coupling and PVC waste pipe including, supply & fixing of pillar tap, bracket and cutting for and pinning in end of bracket or erecting complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing in replacement 10 litres capacity PVC valveless syphonic action type low level flushing cistern (white colour) with inlet, ball valve, float, handle including brackets and 32mm dia PVC flush pipe, PVC Connection 450 mm long with PTMT nuts suitable for 15mm bore pipe complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply & fixing in replacement stainless steel sink made out of 1.00mm thick sheet, overall size 495mm x 420mm with bowl size 410mm x 330mm x 160mm, kitchen or laboratory with plugs, washers, waste pipe including bedding in cement mortar, fixing in existing space or fixing with cast iron cantilever brackets and connecting union to waste pipe, including taking down old unserviceable sink complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Dismantling/taking down of existing unserviceable PVC water storage tanks capacity exc. 250 litre but not exc. 500 litre complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Dismantling/taking down of existing unserviceable PVC water storage tanks capacity exc. 500 litre but not exc. 1000 litre complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply & fixing rotational moulded polyethylene water storage tank white / Black colour of capacity 500 litres (cylindrical vertical, triple layered with closed top), hoisted and fixed in position including making inlet and out let connection and including ball valve and gate valve, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

All as per Srl Item No. 32 here-in-before but except tank, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Material and labour for preparation of new plastered surface and newly plaster in patch works on surface of walls/pillars /cornices by brooming down with using broom/sand papering or by any other mean, washing down with water and applying two coats of cement base paint as per approved tint/colour with using paint brush complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for preparing newly plastered and newly plaster in patch works on surface of ceiling by sand papering or by any other mean and after preparing the surfaces applying three coats of white wash complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in- charge

Material and labour for preparation of new plastered surfaces of walls/pillars /cornices by brooming down or by sand papering or by any other mean and after preparing the surfaces applying two Oil bound distemper complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Taking up or down existing galvanised steel water tubing (GI pipe) 15mm bore including fitting/connection from wall/ceiling/floor/concealed etc. including removing from site/keeping aside for reuse (serviceable as good condition as directed) complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Taking up or down existing galvanised steel water tubing (GI pipe) 20mm bore including fitting/connection from wall/ceiling/floor/concealed etc. including removing from site/keeping aside for reuse (serviceable as good condition as directed) complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and fixing galvanized steel tubing (GI pipe) medium grade 15mm bore ISI marked with all new fittings like elbow, tee, union, socket, reducer etc. and fixed complete to walls, ceiling and laid in floor or concealed in walls including cutting chases in wall (as required) and making good disturbed surfaces of walls including cutting and threading of existing pipe any dia for insertaion of tee branch including hole in wall to pass the pipe out side for connection as per site requirment complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in- charge.

Supply and fixing galvanized steel tubing (GI pipe) medium grade 20mm bore ISI marked with all new fittings like elbow, tee, union, socket, reducer etc. and fixed complete to walls, ceiling and laid in floor or concealed in walls including cutting chases in wall (as required) and making good disturbed surfaces of walls including cutting and threading of existing pipe any dia for insertaion of tee branch including hole in wall to pass the pipe out side for connection as per site requirment complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in- charge.

Re-fixing old serviceable 15mm bore galvanised steel water tubing (GI pipe) including all fittings like elbow, tee, union, socket, reducer etc. in new or old portion/position to walls, ceiling and laid in floor/concealed in walls etc and making good disturbed surfaces of walls complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. (Note :- Old serviceable pipe and fittings obtained from taking up or down (here-in-before) item of this BOQ shall be reused after necessary cleaning internally.

Re-fixing old serviceable 20mm bore galvanised steel water tubing (GI pipe) including all fittings like elbow, tee, union, socket, reducer etc. in new or old portion/position to walls, ceiling and laid in floor/concealed in walls etc and making good disturbed surfaces of walls complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. (Note :- Old serviceable pipe and fittings obtained from taking up or down (here-in-before) item of this BOQ shall be reused after necessary cleaning internally.

Supply & fixing in replacement 450 mm long PVC connection 15mm size with PTMT nuts complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and fixing in replacement bib tap long body cast copper alloy, chromium plated fancy type, with crutch or butterfly handle with capstan head, screwed down, screwed for iron pipe or for brass ferrule 15mm bore complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note :- The minimum weight shall be as given in SSR or in relevant IS.

Supply and fixing in replacement stop valve/angle valve cast copper alloy, chromium plated fancy type screwed down high pressure with crutch or butterfly handle, screwed both ends suitable for 15mm bore iron pipe complete, all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note :- The minimum weight of stop valve/stop cock/angle valve shall be as given in SSR or in relevant IS.

Supply and fixing in replacement concealed stop cock cast copper alloy, chromium plated, fancy type, long shank and cup, screwed both ends suitable for 15mm bore iron pipe complete, all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note :- The minimum weight of stop valve/stop cock shall be as given in SSR or in relevant IS.

Supply & fixing in replacement pillar tap cast copper alloy with capstan head, chromium plated, fancy type, high pressure with or without letter 'Hot' or 'Cold' with long shank and fly nuts screwed for iron pipe or for brass ferrule 15mm bore complete, all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note :- The minimum weight of tap shall be as given in SSR or in relevant IS

Supply & fixing in replacement cromium plated shower rose 125mm size, with or without swivel joints, any size, including fixing to steel pipe or union complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply & fixing in replacement brass chromium plated tubular towel rail 20mm dia 'D' type, 600mm long between flanges fixed to plug , bracket with chromium plated brass screws complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing in replacement 20mm bore ball valves, high pressure of PTMT with epoxy coated aluminium rod and high density plastic ball (polythene float) complete, screwed suitable for 20mm bore iron pipe complete all specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note :- The minimum weight of ball valve shall be as given in SSR or in relevant IS.

Taking down chowkhats or frames with shutters (without taking off shutters from the frames, wooden/PVC doors/steel ventilator) area not exceeding 1.50 sqm each and removing from site including cutting holes for removal of old rusted hold fast and prepare the surface for new hold fast complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in- charge.

Taking down chowkhats or frames with shutters (without taking off shutters from the frames) area exceeding 1.50 sqm but not exceeding 4 Sqm each and removing from site including cutting holes for removal of old rusted hold fast and prepare the surface for new hold fast complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in- charge.

Taking down wooden shutters only of any description area exceeding 1.0 sqm and not exceeding 2.0 sqm each complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in- charge.

Supply & fixing aluminium anodised frame, made out of aluminium section / aluminium chanel, powder coated (minimum thickness of powder coating not less than 50 micron), for doors, windows, ventilators with one or more rebate including jointing cleat for fixing etc. including taking down old unserviceable frame complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note :- Weight of aluminium section/aluminium channel shall be physically ascertained through a board of officers convened by Accepting officer and payment shall be made only after the actual weight at site.

Supply & fixing anodised aluminium door shutter, made out of aluminium section weighing 0.55 Kg/mtr, powder coated (minimum thickness of powder coating not less than 50 micron) including aluminium hardware i.e. necessary joining cleats, glazing clips, rubber neoprene packing, suitable size of aluminium handles 2 Nos and aluminium hinges 04 Nos in each leaf (size of handle and hinge as directed), anodised aluminium snap beading, screws etc including fixing of glass, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note :- (i) Aluminium chowkhat frame shall be measured and paid separately under appropriate item of BOQ as supply and fixing. (ii) S& F Glass and other filling material in panels shall be measured and paid separately under appropriate item of BOQ.

Supply & fixing 5.5mm thick sheet glass ordinary quality in squares not exceeding 0.5sqm in each pane and fixed with oil putty etc. as required or as directed complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in- charge.

Supply & fixing aluminium (extruded section) body door closer hydraulically regulated, designation No 3, universal type suitable for door shutter of 851 to 1000mm in width and weight between 61 to 80 Kg, ISI marked complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and fixing factory made 105 x 60mm pressed steel frames, thickness of sheet 1.25mm for doors with one or more rebates including supply and fixing necessary lugs and lock strike plate, etc. , including fixing butt hinges suitable Nos as directed for each leaf, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in- charge. Note : - (i) Butt hinges shall be measured and paid separately under appropriate item of BOQ.

Supply and fixing factory made 125 x 60mm pressed steel frames, thickness of sheet 1.25mm for doors with one or more rebates including supply and fixing necessary lugs and lock strike plate, etc. , including fixing butt hinges suitable Nos as directed for each leaf, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in- charge. Note : - (i) Butt hinges shall be measured and paid separately under appropriate item of BOQ.

Supply & fixing factory made plain framed panelled shutters (two panels as approved), 35mm thick of 2nd class hard wood with lock rail and panel inserts of 12mm veneered particle board with commercial veneering on both faces. The size of rails and styles as per IS-1003 (Part-I), kiln seasoned as per IS-1141 and chemically pressure treated as per IS-401, including 2nd class soft wood kail beading 20mm wide tapering from 10mm to 5mm on one side and also fitted to chowkhat complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in- charge.

Supply & fixing factory made glazed and skeleton shutter, 35mm thick of 2nd class hard wood open rebated (two panels as approved) and prepared to receive glass, gauge etc, without sash bars, edges of framing plain, chamfered or rounded fitted with cut and mitred beads for securing glass, etc. Sizes of members as specified in SSR Part-I, Section 8 and fitted to chowkhats, menbers shall be kiln seasoned as per IS-1141 and chemically pressure treated as per IS-401 complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in- charge.

Supply and fixed solid PVC Door Frame of size 50mm x 47mm made out of 5mm plain colour PVC sheet reinforced with M.S. Square tube, suppling & fixing in opening as per specification & drawing complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge

Supply and fixed factory made solid panel PVC door shutter 30 mm thick (style) consisting of frame made out of M.S. tubes for top & bottom rails. M.S. frame shall be covered with heat moulded plain colour PVC ‘C’ channel having a PVC sheet strip of 20mm width stuck inside with solvent cement for stiles and plain colour PVC sheets for top rail, lock rail & bottom rail on either side & as gap insert for top rail & bottom rail; Panelling of plain colour PVC sheet to be fitted in the M.S. frame welded / sealed to the stiles & rails with suitable PVC sheet beading, and joined together with solvent cement, suppling & fixing in the frame at site as per specification & drawing, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply & fixing 3mm thick sheet glass ordinary quality in squares not exceeding 0.5 Sqm in each pane and fixed with oil putty etc. as required or as directed complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in- charge.

Supply & fixing galvanized mild steel wire cloth 0.56mm nominal dia of wire and average width of aperture 1.18mm fixed with tinned tack or galvanised wire staples complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in- charge.

Material and labour for Preparation of new wooden or wood based surfaces of any description not otherwise described over 10cm width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of pink primer complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in- charge.

Material and labour for preparation of new steel and iron surfaces of any description not otherwise described over 10cm in width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in- charge.

Material and labour 18-20mm thick machine cut, granite duly factory grinding and polished (table rubbed and polished) of approved colour for counter sunk wash basin, plateform/cooking plateform or as directed, including screed bed 15mm thick in cement mortar (1:4) (grey cement slurry) including pointing in white cement (1:2) using marble dust with admiture of pigment to match with shade of granite stone slab including cutting as required including cleaning and extra polishing if required complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for 18-20mm thick any of colour of marble work other than black and white marble (table rubbed and polished) as in counter sunk wash basin, steps, jambs, pillars, windowcills, cooking platforms and like, set and including screed bed 15mm thick in cement mortar (1:4), including pointing in white cement (1:2) using marble dust with admiture of pigment to match with shade of marble slab, including machine cutting to make it square or rectangular or as per site requirement including cleaning and extra polishing if required, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge .

Supply and fixing in replacement one piece (single unit EWC with flush tank) white colour with all fittings including seat cover, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing in replacement Isolator ‘C’ curve suitable for 230 volts AC supply, 100 Amps TPN with over load and short circuit protection and rupturing capacity not less than 10 KA, in existing DB/board including making elctric connection and testing, fixing at any site as per daily complaint basis complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and fixing (concealed in wall or as directed) single pole and neutral sheet metal enclosure (Geyser Box) with a two pin and earth plug and socket complete with one single pole MCB of capacity 25 Amps, 240 volts, AC supply complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Material and labour for Earthing complete with galvanised iron earth plate electrode of size 60cm x 60cm x 6mm buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 mtr deep below ground level ) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 metre below normal ground level, connected to and including earth continuity GI wire 4 mm (upto test point from earth plate i.e. 7.5m min) by means of GI bolts/nuts/washers and including protected by 15mm dia GI light grade protection pipe from earth plate to test point, including making of test point. Earth plate shall be surrounded by packed layer of char coal/coke & salt all around bottom and top with alternative layer. 20mm GI light grade pipe for watering (should be 10cm above GL) and including socket, plug, funnel, wire mesh, RCC cover and (including steel for cover) PCC (1:2:4) type B1 (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate) as in earthing pit including necessary form work, excavation & earth work, all as specified & shown in electrical plate No. 3 of SSR (Part – I) including taking out/dismantling old unserviceable earthing system complete all as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note:- (i) PCC chamber shall be constructed at least 1.5 metre away from the earth electrode and pipe for watering shall be provided in slanting manner.

Material and labour for Earthing complete with copper plate electrode of size 90cm x 60cm x 5mm thick buried directly in ground (each pit not less than 2.25 Metre deep below normal ground level), with top edge of the plate vertically to depth of not less than 1.5 metre below normal ground level surrounded from all sides with alternate layers of char coal/cokel, coal dust and common salt, connected to and including copper strip as size 32mm x 6mm earth lead connected by means of MS bolts, nuts washer & check nuts etc., connected to earth test point/main control board including 40mm dia light grade GI pipe for protection to extent 7.5 metre as earthing lead and GI pipe 20mm bore for watering including providing funnel and wire mesh, 10mm thick cover hanged to CFI frame PCC chamber pit with PCC 1:3:6 type C-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregates complete all as per electrical plate No. 3 of SSR part-1 including excavation and earth work in any type of soil and testing, complete all as specified and and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. NOTE:- PCC chamber shall be constructed at least 1.5 metre away from earth pit pipe for watering shall be provided in slanting manner.
