SPECIAL REPAIR / REPLACEMENT OF 2 X 25 HP PUMP SETS AGAINST BER WORKS AT AF STN CAR NICOBAR, SPECIAL REPAIR / REPLACEMENT OF BER CEILING FAN/ EXHAUST FAN AND GEYSER AT AF STN CAR NICOBAR, SPECIAL REPAIR TO FIRE ALARM PANELS AND CONNECTED ACCESSORIES

Supply install testing and commissioning in replacement of BER centrifugal monoblock pump set coupled with induction motor, 3 phase, 415V, electrically driven, brass impeller, stainless steel shaft mounted on heavy duty bearings including connection from starter to motor using suitable size copper cable all as specified and as directed with following specifications. Make - Kirloskar/CRI/Crompton/KSB/Havells Note: (i) Desired discharge = 40LPS maximum at 45mtr head or more at end point located 2.44km from pump house. (ii) RPM range 2950 or as per OEM recommendation. (iii) Total head range = min 40mtr to max 55mtr. (iv) Higher specification from the above desired parameters will be considered for payment if required specifications not available. (v) Motor will be coupled directly with pump through shaft and end bearings. (vi) Motor shall be of 3 phase induction, 415V, 50Hz, RPM - 2950 or as per OEM design, copper wound, IP 55 protection, capacity 18.7KW or more.

(vii) Type of water to be pumped is open well water with TDS ranging more than 500. Hence, design of pump shall be finalised as per OEM recommendtaion only. (viii) Pump shall be housed with CI volute housing to withstand pressure upto 10Kg and more. (ix) Self priming provision shall be given in pump so that air lock can be avoided during operation. (x) Diameter of suction and discharge of pump shall be 150 x 100mm or 100 x 100mm or as per OEM recommendation fulfilling the desired discharge of water at end point mentioned in Note (i) above. (xi) MS channel base frame and mounting structure shall deemed to be inclusive of quoted rate. (xii) Manufacturer Test Certificate shall be submitted by the contractor before processing RAR. (xiii) Rate includes 40mtr 4sqmm x 3 core copper cable PVC sheathed inductrial grade for pump set connections. (xiv) Rate includes demolition of old PCC foundation and providing new plinth/foundation with PCC 1:3:6 type C2. (xv) Rate includes taking outold unserviceable pumpsets and depositing to MES salvage storeyard

S&F pump control panel board indoor, cubicle type made up of 1.6mm CRCA sheet, factory painted comprising 2 x Fully Automatic Star Delta starter panel prewired in separate compartment suitable for pump set of capacity as mentioned in item No-01 above, enclosed in a well finished weather and anti corrosion painted IP-54 protected steel box of factory made alongwith Contactors of capacity suitable for the pump sets as per item No-01 above for star and delta separately (for starting and running) alongwith Single Phase Preventor and tripping mechanism, electronic timer, thermal and overload relay with main contactor, NO/NC add-on blocks for all contactors, reverse phase / current protection etc of current range satisfying the pump sets capacity as mentioned initem No-01 above, prewired with ON/OFF push button, RYN indicators, Ammeter and Volt meter etc complete. Note: (i) All accessories shall be of make L&T/Havells/Schneider/Siemens/ABB. (ii) Panel should comprise RYB phase indicating lamp, Multi Function Meter, CT/PT of suitable range. (iii) Panel board shall have incomer MCCB of capacity 100Amp - 01 No and outgoing MCCB of capacity 63AMp - 02 Nos. (iv) PCC foundation, MS angle iron channels upto height of 45cm above floor all are included in quoted rate.

Supply & fixing Earthing complete with copper earth plate electrode 60cm×60cm× 3.15mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 metres deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 metres below normal ground level, connected to 20×3mm copper strip as earthing lead, by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of brass or steel all as shown in electrical plate No. 3 connected to earthing test point all as specified or indicated including testing on completion all as specified & directed . Notes:Quoted rates shall be deemed to be included the following (a) Excavation ,RFR earth work in any type of soil. (b) PCC pit in cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-1, pre cast RCC cover 40 mm thick in PCC 1:2:4 type B-1, with suitable handle reinforced with welded steel wire fabric weighing not less than 1.87 kg/sqm. (c) funnel with wire mesh , watering pipe of GI 20 mm nominal bore light grade and lugs etc. complete all as specified & directed. (d) 32 mm nominal bore medium grade GI protection pipe 5 meter long for protection of earthing lead complete all as specified & directed. (e) Requisite quantity of common salt and charcoal in alternative layers as specified.

Supply and fixing galvanised steel water tubing medium grade 150 mm bore including all necessary fittings such as bends, L bows, short piece connections, backnuts, caps plugs, unions couplings, flanges, sockets etc, fixed to wall/floor/ceiling including necessary cutting/chauging in walls made of brick/concrete surface complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing galvanised steel water tubing medium grade 100 mm bore including all necessary fittings such as bends, L bows, short piece connections, backnuts, caps plugs, unions couplings, flanges, sockets etc, fixed to wall/floor/ceiling including necessary cutting/chauging in walls made of brick/concrete surface complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing cast iron Non Return Butterfly type foot valve of 150mm dia, flanged, bonnet wedge stuffing box, gland trust plate, hand weel CI with brass spindle, washer & nut bolt including jointing, Class PN 16, complete all as specified and directed at site by the Engineer-in-incharge.

Supply and replace DI/GI specials from 80mm to 250mm bore such as bends(any type, radius and angle)tapers any type, Tee equal/unequal with flanged and socket or in any combination in any length as per site requirement, tail piece straight,bend,increasing,decreasing or double socket etc.) tee pieces single branch. "Y" junction, double branch, cross (all sockets or sockets and spigot) collars, caps and plugs including ring washer gaskets all as specified and directed. Note: (i) Cutting main pipeline before inserting DI/GI fittings for making branch connections also deemed to be included in quoted rate.

M&L for cement concrete PCC 1:3:6 type C-2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate in filling foundations and mass concrete, foundation of post including necessary form work complete all as specified and as directed .

Replacing MS nuts, bolts , washer & MS flat, machine cut, hexagonal 5cm to 10cm long, dia meter of neck 16 to 20mm or existing size as per site requirement and complete.
