ETP Works
All items of work under this Contract shall be executed strictly to fulfill the requirements laid down under “Basis of Design” in the specifications. Type of equipment, material specification, methods of installation and testing and type of control shall be in accordance with the specifications, approved shop drawings and the relevant Indian Standards, however capacity of each component and their quantities shall be such as to fulfill the below mentioned requirements.
The unit rate for all equipment or materials shall include cost in INDIAN RUPEES (INR) for all materials, fixing materials, accessories, appliances tools, plants, equipment, transport, labour and incidentals required in preparation for and in the full and entire execution as per Specifications and Drawings including all taxes and duties and also including forwarding, freight, insurance and transport into Contractor’s store at site, storage, installation, testing, balancing, commissioning and other works required or called for in item.
In the event of conflict between Bill of Quantities and other documents including the Specifications, the most stringent shall apply. The interpretation of the Architect / Consultant /Project Manager shall be final and binding.
All requirements of Specifications, whether such requirements are mentioned in the item or not shall be met. The Specifications and Drawings where available, are to be read as complimentary to and part of the Bill of Quantities and any work called for in one shall be taken as required for all.
The contractor shall include for making all the opening in slabs, beams, walls etc. as required for his work. However, the contractor can coordinate with civil work to provide necessary sleeves. All hot and cold water supply pipes crossing masonry walls of toilets shall be provided with GI pipe sleeves. The annular space between the pipe and sleeve shall be filled up with glass wool in between and fire proof sealent on either end after testing. All openings shall be closed using water proofing compound or as specified by Project Manager.
The work shall be carried out in conformity with the plumbing drawings and within the requirements of architectural, HVAC, electrical structural and other specialized services drawings. The contractor shall cooperate with all trades and agencies working on the site. He shall make provision for hangers, sleeves, structural openings and other requirements well in advance to prevent hold up of progress of the construction schedule. All supports to the civil structure shall be provided with anchor fastners.
On award of the work, contractor shall submit a schedule of construction in the form of a PERT chart or BAR chart for approval of the Project Manager.
Contractor must submit for approval shop drawings, that detail pipe routing and levels, showing location of other services at crossings etc., cable runs, route cable trays and all allied works and must be fully coordinated with other services, before execution of the works. All shop drawings will be made on Autocad and coloured prints has to be produced for site work.
The contractor shall, from time to time, clear away all debris and excess materials accumulated at the site failing which the same shall be done by Project Manager at contractor’s risk and cost and cost of clean up shall be deducted from the contractors prorata bill. After the fixtures, equipment and appliances have been installed and commissioned, contractor shall cleanup the same and remove all plaster, paints, stains, stickers and other foreign matter or discoloration leaving the same in a ready to use condition. Contractor shall demolish all stores, remove all surplus materials and leave the site in a broom clean condition
The contractor shall submit detailed GA drawings, flow diagrams, equipment list, power load requirement.
The contractor must do and provide in detail, design, calculations of all elements of the plant, electrical and mechanical work to satisfy adequacy of design
Contractor shall ensure submission of GOOD FOR CONSTRUCTION stage architectural, structural, construction, electrical, mechanical and piping drawing, detailed GA drawings (Plan & Section), P & I diagram, schematic diagram for main components and additional components such as inserts, puddle flanges, vent pipes etc. for approval.
Checking,inspection,installation, testing and commisioning of effluent treatment plant with effluent handling capacity 20 m3 per day. The entire plant will be constructed in MS (FRP coated, min. 3 mm). The ETP shall be designed as water retaining structures, with necessary chemical dosing as required by the manufacturer s design. All the equipment, piping, pumps, air blowers and electrical panel to be housed in the ETP skid including M.S. puddle flange (Galvanised), inlet, outlet, overflow, vent, moving ladders & railing. The Plant shall be complete with a central Electrical Power and Control panel fully pre/site wired and with all power and control cables to all pumps and equipment including all instrumentation, level and other controls. The cost will also include any consequential civil work including making foundations for the structure, pumps, blowers etc. It should be complete as per manufacturer s specifications & as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
Effluent from Labs etc. Some solvent/ chemical waste originating typically from hospital complex shall also be discharged into the ETP. Design to take consideration of same.

Operation & Maintenance Work
To operate the entire ETP under available load conditions for further period of 30 days on round the clock basis.
To provide services of contractors expert operating personal comprising of :
One Supervisor 4 hrs Three times a week.
One Plant operator one per shift in three shifts.
One helper for general maintenance and assistance. One per shift in three shifts.
Company’s back up services of senior engineers and experts for any major problems, general check up and maintenance and advise. Once a week for 2 hours minimum more or more if required.
All tools, equipment and testing devices to be provided by the contractor.
Sewage Treatment Plant Capacity :95 KLD (BASED ON MBBR TECHNOLOGY) (SEWAGE LOAD: 75 KLD + EFFLUENT TREATED LOAD: 20 KLD)
All items of work under this Contract shall be executed strictly to fulfill the requirements laid down under “Basis of Design” in the specifications. Type of equipment, material specification, methods of installation and testing and type of control shall be in accordance with the specifications, approved shop drawings and the relevant Indian Standards, however capacity of each component and their quantities shall be such as to fulfill the below mentioned requirements.
The unit rate for all equipment or materials shall include cost in INDIAN RUPEES (INR) for all materials, fixing materials, accessories, appliances tools, plants, equipment, transport, labour and incidentals required in preparation for and in the full and entire execution as per Specifications and Drawings including all taxes and duties and also including forwarding, freight, insurance and transport into Contractor’s store at site, storage, installation, testing, balancing, commissioning and other works required or called for in item.
In the event of conflict between Bill of Quantities and other documents including the Specifications, the most stringent shall apply. The interpretation of the Architect / Consultant /Project Manager shall be final and binding.
All requirements of Specifications, whether such requirements are mentioned in the item or not shall be met. The Specifications and Drawings where available, are to be read as complimentary to and part of the Bill of Quantities and any work called for in one shall be taken as required for all.
The contractor shall include for making all the opening in slabs, beams, walls etc. as required for his work. However, the contractor can coordinate with civil work to provide necessary sleeves. All hot and cold water supply pipes crossing masonry walls of toilets shall be provided with GI pipe sleeves. The annular space between the pipe and sleeve shall be filled up with glass wool in between and fire proof sealent on either end after testing. All openings shall be closed using water proofing compound or as specified by Project Manager.
The work shall be carried out in conformity with the plumbing drawings and within the requirements of architectural, HVAC, electrical structural and other specialized services drawings. The contractor shall cooperate with all trades and agencies working on the site. He shall make provision for hangers, sleeves, structural openings and other requirements well in advance to prevent hold up of progress of the construction schedule. All supports to the civil structure shall be provided with anchor fastners.
On award of the work, contractor shall submit a schedule of construction in the form of a PERT chart or BAR chart for approval of the Project Manager.
Contractor must submit for approval shop drawings, that detail pipe routing and levels, showing location of other services at crossings etc., cable runs, route cable trays and all allied works and must be fully coordinated with other services, before execution of the works. All shop drawings will be made on Autocad and coloured prints has to be produced for site work.
The contractor shall, from time to time, clear away all debris and excess materials accumulated at the site failing which the same shall be done by Project Manager at contractor’s risk and cost and cost of clean up shall be deducted from the contractors prorata bill. After the fixtures, equipment and appliances have been installed and commissioned, contractor shall cleanup the same and remove all plaster, paints, stains, stickers and other foreign matter or discoloration leaving the same in a ready to use condition. Contractor shall demolish all stores, remove all surplus materials and leave the site in a broom clean condition
The contractor shall submit detailed GA drawings, flow diagrams, equipment list, power load requirement.
The contractor must do and provide in detail, design, calculations of all elements of the plant, electrical and mechanical work to satisfy adequacy of design
Contractor shall ensure submission of GOOD FOR CONSTRUCTION stage architectural, structural, construction, electrical, mechanical and piping drawing, detailed GA drawings (Plan & Section), P & I diagram, schematic diagram for main components and additional components such as inserts, puddle flanges, vent pipes etc. for approval.

The pipe shall be provided with 75mm thick fiberglass insulation and covering the insulation with 500 g polythene sheet giving proper overlaps and sealing the joints with suitable adhesive compound. The pipe shall be provided with 24 gauge aluminium sheet cladding.) as per drawing complete as required. Common base plate for above pump and Diesel Engine from M.S. channel of required size. Cost for Suitable PCC/RCC foundation with plaster, Antivibration arrangement of cushy foot mountings is deemed to be included in this tem cost. 24 volts, 180 AH Lead battery ( 12 volts-2 Nos) with boost / trickle charger for starting the engine automatically as required. .It should be complete as per specifications and directions of E-I-C.

Fire pump having C.I. body, bronze impeller and S.S. Shaft with mechanical seal, capable for delivering 180 LPM of water at 85 mts.head to ensure a minimum pressure of 3.5 kg/cm2 at the terrace/farthest hydrant. The pump should meet the condition of Local fire Authority). Squirrel cage induction motor TEFC type for operation on 415 V, 3 phase 50 HZ AC supply for the above pump with a speed of 2900 R.P.M. with flexible coupling and coupling guard etc. as required. Common base plate for above pump and motor from M.S. channel as required size. Cost for Suitable PCC/RCC foundation with plaster, Antivibration arrangement of cushy foot mountings is deemed to be included in this tem cost.It should be complete as per specifications and directions of E-I-C.
