1. Soil investigation and soil data collection for design for "Provn of 01 x WP Shed (60 MT) incl water storage tank (2.25 KL) and allied infrastructure at 28 Amn Coy (Chakkigam)". Determination of safe bearing capacity of soil by mean of boring 100 to 150mm dia holes upto 15 mtr depth/ Refusal and performing standard penetration test (SPT) at suitable interval or in case, gravelly/ boulder/ rocky strata encountered before 1.5 mtr depth then open pit upto 2 mtr to 5 mtr depth and CDPT as per IS will be concluded upto 15 Mtr or till refusal collection of disturbed/ undisturbed soil samples at various depth or bore holes for laboratory testing i.e grain size analysis attenberg limits, natural density, water contents specific gravity, triaxial shear, free sweel index cohension and angle of friction, determination of harmful chemical etc, evaluation of safe bearing capacity and strength as per IS 2131-1981. QTY 02 Nos BORE HOLES. (a) Transportation charges for equipment and machinery (lumpsum). (b) Submission of 03 copies of report of soil investigation and other details including marking of bore hole location on site plan in triplicate- 01 Nos. (c) The report should be give the proposed type of foundation like isolated footing, Raft footing, combined footing or Mat footing if shallow foundation is proposed. Depth of rectangular or square footing may be brought out in the report. (d) Report should exclusively bring out the depth of water table as per the groung data and liquefaction potential for the strata. (e) In case deep foundation is proposed type of pile fdn end/friction may be brought out with proposed depth for each type. *Following aspects/points may pl be included in test report of bore holes (i) In soil test report recommendation of SBC should be given for all the bore holes for min three depth i.e 1.5m, 2.0m & 2.5m. (ii) Recommendation for footing type & SBC shall be worked out for minimum foundation as under 1.5x1.5m, 1.5x2.5m, 2.0x2.5m, 2.0 x 3.0m. (iii) All testing shall be carried out as per relevant and latest IS code provisions. (iv) Photographic record of geo-exploration and testing shall also be part of record. (v) Depth of ground water table in peak monsoon & peek summer i.e (highest & lowest) and seasonal variation of water table should be mentioned in report. (vi) Recommendation of filling under flooring. (vii) Recommendation with respect to liquefaction potential of soil in case of saturated or partially satured loose/uncompact sandy soil. (viii) Swelling index & swelling pressure in respect of BC soil & its depth/layer.
