Providing and laying in position of plain cement concrete 1 : 5 : 10 (1 cement : 5 sand : 10 graded stone aggregate 40mm nominal size) using hard granite broken stone for all insitu leveling courses in foundations, floor, roof screeding, encasing pipes, etc., including mechanical mixing, ramming, compaction, leveling, curing, dewatering, if any including the cost of formwork etc., all complete as per specifications.

Supplying, placing in position and removing Formwork for all insitu concrete works including sloped roof and arches etc., as per drawings and specifications, all centering, scaffolding complete (Note: Measurement for the formwork shall be the area of forms in contact with concrete surfaces).

Providing and fixing double scaffolding system (cup lock type) on the exterior side at all height made with 40mm diameter M.S. tube spaced @ 1.5m center to center at both horizontal and vertical tubes, joining with cup and lock system with M.S.tube, M.S.tube challies, M.S clamps and M.S staircase system in the scaffolding for working platform etc., and maintaining it in a serviceable condition for the required duration as approved and removing it thereafter. The scaffolding system shall be stiffened with bracings, runners connection with the building, etc., Wherever required for the inspection of work at required location with essential safety features for the workmen, etc., complete as per directions and approval of Engineer-in-charge. (Note: The elevational area of the scaffolding shall be measured for payment purpose. The payment will be made once irrespective of duration of scaffolding.)

Providing and casting insitu Reinforced Cement Concrete 1:1.5:3 using machine crushed hard broken granite stone of nominal size 20mm including mechanical mixing, transporting, placing at all lifts, vibrating, consolidation, curing, finishing smooth all exposed faces, for all insitu concrete items, etc. as per drawings and specifications. Note : The rate quoted shall be exclusive of reinforcement and formwork which will be paid for separately under relevant items.

Providing, cutting, bending, placing and binding Steel reinforcement using TMT bars of Fe-500 grade in all reinforced cement concrete works including cutting, bending, fixing, tieing in position with 1.6 mm dia soft drawn annealed binding wire, cost of cover blocks in C.M 1:2, etc., complete as per specifications and drawings. Important Note: The required quantity of steel reinforcement as mentioned in the schedule should be procured by the contractor only of SAIL, Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (VIZAG), TATA Steel & JINDAL from authorized dealers which shall conform to IS: 1786 (Latest Edition).

Providing and constructing 110mm thick brick work in Cement Mortar 1:4 (1 Cement : 4 Coarse sand) for partition / Kerb walls using well burnt chamber bricks / FALG Bricks of approved quality including scaffolding, curing etc., complete all as per specifications.

Providing and laying Indian Patent Stone Flooring with cement concrete 1:2:4; 20mm thick using 10mm and below size hard broken stones including dismantling the damaged portion of existing floor/dadoo, preparation of surface, consolidating, curing, rubbing the surfaces smooth, providing dividing strips, disposing the dismantled debris at suitable places as shown at site within 2Km lead, etc., all complete as per specification and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and fixing Kota stone work of 20-25mm thick polished, (premoulded and prepolished slab) machine cut for kitchen platforms, vanity counters, window sills, facias and similar locations or required size of approved shade, colour and texture laid over 20mm thick base cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand) with joints treated with white cement mixed with matching pigment, epoxy touch ups, etc., including dismantling the existing IPS/Mosaic platform / dadoo, disposal of debris, rubbing, curing, finishing, providing holes of required diameter, providing opening to fix counter basins, providing grooves wherever required, polishing the surface etc., all complete at all levels as per specifications as directed by Engineer-in-charge. [Note: The Kota stones shall be got approved by the Engineer before making bulk order.]

For Kitchen platforms using Single piece of length upto 1.20 mtr.

Providing and fixing beading at the ends of platform to arrest water fall by cutting the Kota stone slab of size 25 to 40mm wide, rounding the edges, polishing and fixing to the platform with necessary metal paste including finishing the surfaces etc., all complete as per specification and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Repairing and rectifying the minor repair works like wall cracks, floor cracks, spalling of mortar on sides of doors, windows, wall and door joints, including the cost of materials, T&P using CM 1:3 etc., all complete as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and fixing 1st quality Rectified (Jointless) Glazed ceramic wall tiles of size 300x450 mm or more of approved concept series confirming to IS 15622 of 'KAJARIA (Digital Series) or JOHNSON (Satin &Rustic / Glossy series)] or SOMANY or other approved make in all colours and shades in Skirting, Risers of steps and Dados laid over 12 mm thick bed of cement mortar 1 : 3 (1 Cement : 3 Coarse sand) and jointing with grey cement slurry @ 3.3 kg per sqm or by using Cement based high polymer modified quick set tile adhesive (water based) or other approved tile adhesive including providing Motiff tiles as per approved concept, pointing in white cement mixed with pigment of matching shade, chipping the existing insitu mosaic / plastering or cuddappah stone dadoo, preparation of surface, disposing the dismantled debris at suitable places shown at site within 2Km lead, etc., all complete as per specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing Half Round Edge Moulding to 16-18mm thick marble / Granite or 20-25mm thick Kota stone counters, vanities, sills, etc. including machine polishing the edges to give high gloss finish etc., all complete as per specifications and as directed by Engineer - in – charge.

Repairs to the wall and ceiling cracks by chipping and removing the damaged portion upto 20 to 30mm deep, 100 to 200mm wide and plastering with CM 1:3 including making grooves over cracks, grouting with cement slurry or approved crack filling compound, providing Glass fibre mesh, applying necessary approved quality bonding chemicals, finishing the surface, curing, white washing two coats, disposing the debris within 2Kms lead etc., all complete as per specification and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Repairs over the spalling on concrete members by chipping and removing the damaged portion and plastering with CM 1:3 including cleaning the surfaces, applying rust converter of approved quality, filling the damaged portion with cement concrete wherever required, applying necessary approved quality bonding chemicals, finishing the surface in layers, curing, white washing two coats, disposing the debris within 2Kms lead etc., all complete as per specification and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and fixing best quality Stainless Steel sink without Drain board of overall size 610 x 510mm (Bowl depth 200mm) of approved make of 1mm thick Stainless Steel grade AISI-304 (18/8) as per IS-14283, including fixing over opening in RCC slab of platform or supplying and fixing CI bracket pair and placing the sink over the platform/bracket to correct line and level, basket type choke stop stainer, waste coupling with check nuts, providing flexible hose from waste coupling to Nahani trap or Waste line, finishing the platform surface with white cement or other approved grouting materials etc., all complete as per IS-14283 specifications and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Plastering with Cement Mortar 1:5, 12mm thick for brickwork / Concrete on its internal faces at all lifts including scaffolding, curing and forming grooves wherever necessary all complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in­charge.

Plastering with cement mortar 1:3; 20mm thick including supplying and mixing of water proofing compound of approved make at the rate of 2% (Two percent) by weight of cement or as specified by manufacturer including finishing smooth with a floating coat of neat cement, scaffolding, curing, etc., all complete at all lifts as per specification.

White/Colour washing One Coat of lime solution using shell lime of approved quality admixed with glue, ultra marine etc., on existing surfaces of walls and ceiling at all lifts including cost of all materials, labour, scaffolding, removing nails, brooming down the surfaces for removing cobwebs, smoke dirt etc., filling the holes, cracks, crevices with Snowfilla or other suitable filler materials, covering the furniture by suitable covering materials, cleaning/removal of white washing splashing and dropping from floors, doors & windows, electrical fixtures, etc., all complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Painting all internal faces of walls / plastered surfaces with one coat of Interior Emulsion paint of make Asian (Tractor) / Berger (Bison) or other approved equivalent make of approved shade over a coat of interior wall primer of make Asian (Professional) / Berger (BP Primer) or other approved equivalent make including preparation of surfaces by scrapping the existing white wash / colour wash using scrapping machine with dust free vacuum collection system, cleaning the existing white wash/colour wash area, roughening the surface, washing the area thoroughly with lime and soda mix or other approved chemical using high pressure washer, preparing the surface dust free for applying the primer coat, applying approved make wall care putty to make surface smooth without porous by using putty knife and sand papers, the dust accumulated during scrapping shall be collected in appropriate dust bin collector / equipment and disposed with in an initial lead, etc., all complete as per specification and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. (Note: The sample shall be got approved by the EIC before making bulk order.)

Painting for wood work with one coat of synthetic enamel paint of approved colour and make including preparing the surface for receiving the paint by scraping, rubbing, applying wood filler, wood putty, making surface smooth, etc., all complete as per specifications.

Painting for Steel work with two coats of anti-corrosive paint of approved colour and make over of red oxide zinc chromate primer including preparation of surface receiving the primer and paint by scraping, rubbing, labour, scaffolding etc., all complete as per specifications.

Numbering the houses by writing letters/ numbers/ symbols with enamel (Marker) paint of approved colour on the face of the wall/ Display Boards using templates and stencil cutting, including base painting, cost of materials, labours, scaffolding, applying wall care putty wherever required to making surface smooth, etc., all complete as per specification and as directed by the EIC.

Collection and conveying of debris from various location including picking, loading, transporting by mechanical means and unloading them at places as shown by the Department within a lead specified below and levelling, etc., all complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. Note: 1) The rates in respect of this item are applicable for the NET Quantities arrived at after making deductions for voids @ 20% in respect of soil and @ 50% in respect of rock from the corresponding stack / truck measurements. 2) The earth shall be dumped well inside the dumping yard and not over approach pathway road.

Upto 1 Km or part thereof

Dismantling Plain cement concrete/Brick bat coba at all lifts including clearing and depositing the same with a distance of 100 metres as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Dismantling Reinforced cement concrete at all lifts including clearing and depositing the same with a distance of 100 metres as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Dismantling Brick work in cement mortar at all lifts including clearing and depositing the debris within a distance of 100 metres all as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Dismantling of old plastering / skirting including raking out the joints, cleaning the surface for plastering, disposal of debris within a initial lead of 50m, etc., all complete.

Dismantling of 15mm to 40mm dia G.I /PVC pipe upto floor V level including scaffolding, removing the pipes and fittings without causing any damage to existing stock pipes, stacking of retrieved pipes at Departmental stores, etc., all complete as per directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Attending minor repair works in doors, windows, ventilators and MS Grill mesh doors of various types of vacant houses by servicing the fittings and replacing the wornout fittings if any, refixing the same, and also other carpentry related complaints if any etc., complete all as directed. Note: 1) The rate quoted shall be for each door/window. 2) Retrived furniture fittings if required will be supplied by the department at free of cost (or) new furniture fittings will be paid for separately under relevant item.

15mm Sink cock (J - Bend type)

Providing and fixing PVC Nahani trap of approved make conforming to the relevant IS code, heavy quality of self cleaning design with 125mm dia. round (or) 125mm square PVC grating with perforated holes on top, including chipping the existing floor concrete, exposing the damaged Nahani trap, fixing new Nahani trap, embedding in cement concrete 1:2:4, forming circular holes by providing and fixing 110mm OD PVC pipes of required height upto floor level, jointing the outlet pipe, leveling and rendering smooth, making good the floor and wall etc., complete as per specifications. (Note: Rate shall be inclusive of cost of PVC pipe and embedding PCC.)

Providing and Fixing Chlorinated Polyvinyl Chloride (CPVC) of 20mm (Concealed on wall) Nominal Bore dia. pipes (Class-I) SDR-11 of approved make conforming to IS 15778 having thermal stability for hot and cold water supply including providing CPVC plain and brass threaded fittings, fixing the pipe with concealed clamps at 1 m spacing, jointing of pipes and fittings with 1 step CPVC solvent cement, cost of cutting chasses and making good the same, testing of joints complete, etc., all complete as per specification and as directed by Engineer In-Charge. (Note: Concealed work including cutting chases and making good the wall, etc.,)

Replacing 50mm O/D PVC pipe sizes of existing damaged PVC pipes with new PVC pipe of 10 Kg. per sq.cm pressure pipe confirming to IS 4985 of approved make bearing ISI marking including all types of specials, cutting and removing the damaged portion of the existing PVC line, replacing new PVC pipe for flush tank & kitchen waste line with suitable jointing compounds, necessary opening/ chasing of the wall, flooring, etc., without interupting the regular water supply, cost of necessary GI clamps, screws, teakwood plugs, packing pieces, restoring the same after completing the job to its original condition etc., all complete as per specification and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Replacing the damaged CI soil waste pipe by supplying, laying and fixing of PVC pipe lines laid, embedded under floor slab and fixed to walls wherever required using 90mm OD SWR-uPVC pipes and specials (Type B) (suitable for soil and waste discharge system having wall thickness of minimum 3.2 to maximum 3.8mm) conforming to IS:13592 - latest edition with ISI mark of approved make and PVC pasting type or Ring type specials such as door bends, door tees and cowls etc. heavy quality for soil waste or vent or antisyphonage PVC pipe including removing the damaged CI pipe, chipping/removing the embedded pipe if any, fixing the new PVC pipe with suitable clamps over Teak Wood packing pieces, restoring the same to its original condition, disposal of debris within a initial lead, stacking of retrieved CI pipes at GSO stores etc., all complete as per specification and by the Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and fixing of Stainless Steel 304 grade 150mm Square/Circular grating of make "Prayag" or other approved equivalent make including removing the damaged grating, fixing, finishing the surface to match with existing surface, etc., all complete as per specifications.

Refixing of dislocated 110mm dia. SWR pipes from its original position including providing new Teak wood plug/packing piece, fixing with new GI clamp with necessary screws, etc., all complete as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Raising the height of existing manholes of 300x300mm Gully chamber upto 300mm Hieght size by using 230mm thick brick masonry in CM 1:6 and plastering with CM 1:5, 12mm thick including removing and refixing the manhole cover, disposal of debris, white washing two coats etc., all complete as per specification and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Labour charges for cleaning the internal area of vacant quarters Category - A & B by brooming down cobwebs, removing the dust, waste materials including cleaning, sweeping & washing the entire floor area cleaning using cleaning powder & soap oil, the ceramic wares using acid, cleaning louver glass and window glass, cleaning waste water line from various dia of internal traps to gully chambers collecting the waste materials,conveying by suitable means, disposing/depositing at places shown by the Engineer-in-charge. (Note: Cleaning shall be carried out with out causing any damage to existing fittings / fixtures.)
