(a) M & L for carring out the soil investigation in respect of the soil investigation to cover field and laboratory studies includes :- (a) Mobilisation of plants and equipment including men and materials as required at site of soil investigation, setting of boring/drilling as required Shifting the entire arrangement from one bore hole to another bore hole location and and setting of boring/drilling as required and de-mobilisation of plants and eqiupments on complettion of work etc complete (which includes conveyance of sample collected to testing lab as required for the purpose of testing) = 01 Job (b) Shifting of men, materials & equipments from one bore to another bore location including setting of boring/drilling as required complete = 01 Each (c) Boring 150mm dia bore holes to any depth through following type of strata:- (i) Any type of Soil = 16 RM (ii) Soft Rock = 3 RM (iii) Hard Rock = 01 RM (i) Collection of undisturbed soil samples at 3M intervals or at any change of strata in 100mm bore thin walle tube of strata including waxing, sealing, packing, transporting etc complete = 06 Each. (ii) Carrying out standard penetration test (SPT) as per IS 2131 including collection of disturbed soil samples in bore holes at every 1.5 M depth or any change of strata and submit the report with all requisite data. = 16 Each (d) Conducting necessary test on all collected samples which includes the determination of the following test = 02 Each (a) Shrinkage limit (b) Atterberg limit (c) Natural moisture content (d)Wet dry density (e) Particle size (soil grain size) (f) Consolidation test (g) Tri-axial shear test (h)Direct shear test (j) Specific gravity (k) Crushing strength of rock samples (l) Testing of water sample (02 sample) (m) Free swell index (n) Soluble salt content (Chloride & Sulphate) (P) Permeability test (e) Compilation of data and submission of report in 04 copies containing NSBC,SBC,Settlement test results, graphs, charts ,calculation etc and recommendation for foundation as = 01 Job Note:- Quoted rate fol Sl No 02 should include GST for Andaman & Nicobar Islands.
