SPL REPAIR TO ROAD AT ASC BN AND EXISTING INTERNAL ROAD AT YOGENDRA YADAV ENCLAVE RWA OF RAPID (S) REGT (AREA) UNDER GE (SOUTH) MEERUT CANTT

Repair to potholes any depth, not exc 1 sq m each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water,scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc. cutting arounds edges to at least 25mm in depth, making good by filling in screened & graded road metal, watering and well ramming (including supply of road metal) making good by applying tack coat at 5 kg per 10 sq m. putting in premixed bituminous macadam, well rammed and sealed with binder 9.8 kg per 10 sq m, blinded with 0.09 cu m of stone chippings, 6.3 mm size and again will rammed (including supply or premixed macadam, binder and chippings), depth of potholes exc 30mm rolled and compacted complete all as specified and directed.

Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam exc 50 mm & n.exc 100 mm deep in area exc 400 sqm complete all as specified and directed.

M&L 75mm thick (compacted thickness) WBM, with Lime stone sand stone Flint or Quartzite coarse aggregates of grading 2 (63 to 40mm size) or of grading 3 (50 to 20mm size), spread, rolled & consolidated to gradient materials & camber required complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Preparation of newly WBM surfaces of roads by brushing with mechanical means, brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc and applying by providing evenly a priming / tack coat with bituminous primer (VG-10) viscosity grade @ 10 Kg per 10 Sqm complete all as specified and directed.

Preparing surfaces of existing black top surface of road by wire brushes brushing with mechanical means, for removing caked mud etc and sweeping with brooms and finally fanning to clear the surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc and applying priming /tack coat with bituminous primer (VG-10) viscosity grade @ 5 Kg per 10 Sqm complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for bituminous premixed semi dense asphaltic 30mm thick (consolidated thickness) stone chippings mixed with 5.5% of binder contents paving bitumen (VG-30 viscosity grade mixed in hot mix plant, transported to site on tippers and laid with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction, complete all as specified and directed. Note :- (a) 05 Nos of core cutter test to be carried out by contractor on his own cost after 07 days from date of laying of SDAC at location directed by Engineer-in-Charge and test report to be submitted before processing RAR/Payment. (CTL/IIT Roorkee / any Govt Institute as approved by GE. (b) The unit rates are worked out on the basis of binder content of 4% by total mix. Any addition / deduction in the actual binder content used, the rate shall be adjusted as per given in SSR-II.

M&L for premix bituminous macadam mixed with paving bitumen 4% (by weight of total mix) bindre content (VG-30) viscosity grade ant penitration laid / rolled and compacted to required gradient and chamber (consolidated thickness n.exc 75 mm) with 8 to 10 tonne power roller complete all as as spfd and directed. Note :- (a) 05 Nos of core cutter test to be carried out by contractor on his own cost before laying of SDAC on BM surface at location directed by Engineer-in-Charge and test report to be submitted before processing RAR/Payment. (CTL/IIT Roorkee / any Govt Institute as approved by GE. (b) The unit rates are worked out on the basis of binder content of 4% by total mix. Any addition / deduction in the actual binder content used, the rate shall be adjusted as per given in SSR-II.

M&L for cleaning the road surface of dirt, oil/grease spots and foreign materials etc and applying 2.0 mm thick road marking strips(retro reflective) of white colour using hot thermoplastic material by fully/semi automatic paint applicator machine fitted with profile shoe glass beads dispenser propane tank heater and profile shoe heater driven by operator on road surfaces complete on all specified & directed.

S & F in repairs Cate Eyes ABC materials body with scratch and abrasion resistant micro prismatic poly corbonate and ultra sonically wilded lens of temperature resistance body of Size 90mm x 100mm x 17mm to bear maximum load and highly reflective glass elements are filled on both sides for for better night time visibility complete all as specified as approved by GE.

Demolition of plain cement concrete in ground floor and paving n.exc 15cm thickness below or above ground level

Material & labour for cement concrete (1:5:10) type E-2 (using 40mm graded stone aggregate) as in foundation filling and mass concrete and sub base of floor complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Sand for cushioning, interlocking tiles joint to be filled with sand, including spreading and levelling in layers n exc 25 mm thick complete all as specified and directed.

Providing and laying 60mm thick factory made chamfered edge cement concrete paver block of M-35 grade with approved colour, design & pattern as in footparth, parks, lawns, drive ways or light traffic parking etc., of required strength, thickness & size/ shape, made by table vibratory method using PU mould, laid in required colour & pattern over and including 50mm thick compacted bed of fine sand, compacting and proper embedding/ laying of inter locking paver blocks into the sand bedding layer through vibratory compaction by using plate vibrator, filling the joints with sand and cutting of paver blocks as per required size and pattern, finishing and sweeping extra sand complete all as specified and directed.

S&F Providing and laying at or near ground level factory made kerb stone of nominal mix (1:2:4) cement concrete in position to the required line, level and curvature, jointed with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement: 3 coarse sand), including making joints with or without grooves (thickness of joints except at sharp curve shall not to more than 5 mm), including making drainage opening wherever required complete all as specified and directed.

M&L, Providing cement concrete, Type B1 1:2:4 (20mm graded aggregate) as in cills, steps; seismic and other similar bands, plinth courses, string courses, lacing courses, parapets and railings upto 60 cm in height, copings, kneelers, apex stones, bed plates, kerbs, water troughs and the like including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating, including necessary form work complete all as specified and directed.

S & F in repair speed breaker providing rounded (of 17 meter radius) hump of 1.0 meter width and 0.1 RM meter height, with premixed bitumenous macadam 75 mm thick mixed with paving bitumen binder VG-30 Viscosity grade ( considering binder content @4% by wt of total mix), applying providing and laying bituminous premixed asphaltic semi dence concrete 40 mm thick consolidated thickness with machanical paver mixed at hot mix plant, transported to site on tippers,stone chipping mixed with 5.5% by weight of total mix of paving binder (VG-10) viscosity grade by weight of total mix rolled to uniform smooth surface with 8 to 10 tone power roller to required gradient complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing cat eye solar reflective type of metal body alloy of size 100mm x 100mm x 20mm with PAMA striplens reflector fixed with and incl MS stud of suitable size as per manufactures instructions complete all as specified and directed.

Supplying & fixing of retro-reflectorised traffic sign boards by providing and fixing new retro-reflectorised cautionary, mandatory and informatory sign as per ASTM D 4956-04 made of High intensity grade Microprismatic sheeting Type-IV, fixed over aluminium sheeting 2.0 mm thick of size 1200mmx900mm supported on a Stainless steel of grade 304 Frame comprising of hollow square section of size not less than 25mm. This frame is further welded to hollow circular section of outer dia not less than 50mm size, 2.4 meter high vertical post complete as per drawing. This vertical post shall be embeded in M15 grade cement concrete in a pit of size 3000mm X 300mm X 450 mm, 450 mm below ground level complete in all respect as per direction of the Engineer. Note- The rate quoted by the contractor shall be inclusive of forming letters with retro-reflective taping as per the site requirements and all as per the direction of Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for preperation of old painted Surfaces of any description over 10cm girth or width, not otherwise described and applyning 1 coat of synthetic enamel paint complete all as specified and directed.
