PART-I OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE OF E/M INSTALLATIONS

Operation & maintenance of Electric driven pump sets round the clock including Sunday and holidays in Three shifts per day of 08 hours each ( Ist shift from 0600 to 1400 hours,IInd shift from 1400 to 2200 hours and IIIrd shift from 2200 to 0600 hours) by deploying Experienced & qualified skilled One Pump operator in each shift at Kabul Line pump house complete including operation of valves for supply of water & periodical maintenance of Pump Sets such as gland packing, lubricants, cleaning properly to keep dust free all the time inclusive of daily, weekly , monthly and quarterly maintenance complete all as specified and as directed for the following pump sets :- (i) Centifugal pump set of capacity 50 HP -01 No (ii) Centifugal pump set of capacity 25 HP -01 No (iii) Centifugal pump set of capacity 70 HP -01 No (iv) Centifugal pump set of capacity 40 HP - 01 No (v) Submersible pump sets of 10 HP capacity -04 Nos (vi) Centifugal pump set of capacity 10 HP -01 No (vii) Non clogging monoblock pump set of 100 LPM, 1 HP - 01 No (viii) Operation and maintenance of chloronome plant - 01 No and Bleaching dozer - 01 No NOTE:- Quoted rate shall include the aspect mentioned in notes at srl no. 7 to 10.

Operation and maintenance of electric driven pump set including its periodical maintenance round the clock including sunday and holiday in three shifts with one pump operator in each shifts of 8 hrs for operating the following capacity of pump set installed at Sumran Line (Karam Vihar) pump House including operation of valves for supply of water complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge and as detailed below :- (i) Centifugal pump set of capacity 30 HP -02 Nos (ii) Raw sewage submersible pump set 15 HP capacity - 02 Nos (iii) Submersible pump sets of 17.5/10 HP capacity -03 Nos (iv) Centifugal pump set of capacity 15 HP -01 No (v) Operation and maintenance of chloronome plant - 01 Nos and Bleaching dozer - 01 Nos (vi) Cleaning of strainer of sewage pit chamber by taking out the strainer, cleane thoroughly removing all waste and disposal particle and refixing (vii) Terrace pump up to 15.00 HP -14 Nos NOTE:- Quoted rate shall include the aspect mentioned in notes at srl no.7 to 10.

(vi) Terrace pump up to 15.00 HP - 8 Nos NOTE:- Quoted rate shall include the aspect mentioned in notes at srl no.7 to 10.

Rates required to be quoted for executing the work as described in Srl.No. 2 to 5 here-in-before:-

Notes for Srl No. 2 to 5 :- The quoted rate against EPF, ESIC and Bonus shall be considered for payment on actual basis. Contribution towards EPF, ESIC and Bonus is payable only after submission of valid and authentic document in support of having paid the requisite amount to the workmen, ie proof of payment

Notes for Srl No. 2 to 5 :- The rates quoted by the contractor shall also deemed to be included for the following :- (i) Disinfection/ treatment of water by using chemicals as issued by department under Sch 'B' ,free for use, including operation and maintenance /repair/cleaning of Chlorine dozing pump and bleaching dozer including minor spares ie bleaching dozer, rubber bladder, PVC pipe heavy duty, nuts, bolts and washers etc all as directed. (ii) Operating connected accessories such as all type of sluice valve & connecting accessories. (iii) If any loss or damage takes place to the equipment, machinery, tools, stores, fitting and fixtures etc or any other equipment installed in the pump house premises during the contract period, the same shall be made good/borne by the contractor. (iv) General cleanliness and upkeeping existing plants and vegetation within the premises of the pump house/sump within the boundary wall by deploying additional manpower with T&P if required at any time and all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge

(iv) Mixing of Bleaching powder/Calcium based solid granular chemicals/ disinfectant Granules sodium dichloro Iso-Cyanurate chemicals/sodium Hypochloride including transportation of the same from MES store yard to installation is deemed to be included in the quoted unit rate of the items. (v) Bleaching powder/Calcium based solid granular chemicals/ disinfectant Granules sodium dichloro Iso-Cyanurate chemicals/ sodium Hypochloride shall be issued under sch 'B' free for mixing/pouring only and transportation of the same from MES store to installations shall deemed to be included in the unit rate of the items. (vi)Earth resistance of all the earthings shall be measured, twise a month and properly recorde in separate register as directed by Engr-in-Charge (vii) (a) The contractor shall keep the record of water testing and the same shall be signed by the contractor, Engineer -in- charge and medical representative. (b) Reading of all the water meter installed in the premises of installations shall be carried out twice a day & properly recorded in a seperate register as directed.

(viii) The contractor will submit the complete details of the tradesmen along with their qualification certificate before commencement of work. (ix) The contractor shall be responsible for watch and guard of installations round the clock 24 hours. Any loss or damage to the plant, equipment installed and Govt. property in the Pump house premises shall be made good/borne by the contractor. (x) The contractor shall be responsible for operation of terrace pump installed on terrace once in a week & shall be checked for serviceability(both voltage & amp) with tong tester & recorded in a separate register, failing which a panel recovery of Rs 2000/- per pump shall be made from his dues. (xi) If any new equipment/machinary installed during currency of the contract , the contractor shall run/operate the newly installed equipment without any extra cost.

PART-II REPAIR OF VARIOUS PUMP HOUSES UNDER AGE (U) W/S-II

Supply, installation and testing of flanged ends water meter ISI marked woltman type, Class 'B' of following sizes and making good connection with flanged ends, with gasket rubber sheet and nut & bolts fixing in horizontal/inclind/vertical position, including taking out unsv water meter complete all as specified and directed.. Note :- Flange joints including jointing materials shall deemed to be included in the unit rate of this item.
