Note :(i) Please refer Sch A/ BOQ Notes before quoting the tender for all phases/ items mentioned below. (ii) Amount of Schedule of credit shall be deducted offline

Excavation in trenches in any type of soil n. exc 1.5 mwide and n. exc 1.5 m in depth and getting out for foundation of pole, laying under ground cables etc and getting out complete all as specified and as directed.

Excavation in trenches in soft/disintegrated soil/hard rock exceeding 1.5 mtr wide and n.exe 3 mtr depth including getting out all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers n. exc 25 cm in soil complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated soil to a distance n. exc 50m and deposited at a level n.exc 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for river washed and screened dry sand for filling in trenches below and around the cable for cushioning including punning down as specified in relevant clause of SSR Part I. Note: Punned thickness of sand shall be measured and paid.

Supplying and laying Class LV, Type I, flat, size 250mm x 150mm x 40mm for cable protection cover as per IS 5820, laid flat and dry in trenches over the cable perpendicular to the direction of cable complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for cement concrete 1:3:6 type C-2 using 40mm graded stone aggregate in foundations, filling and mass concrete including filling at road cuttings or making pillars for supporting pipe including necessary form work complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate in copings to poles & the like, etc including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles and throating as directed. including necessary form work complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling of LT insulator of any type any size complete all as specified and directed

M&L for shackle type porcelain vitreous white or brown insulator (For LT) working pressure 1100 volts including galvnised mild steel straps of size 31X 3 mm and 12 mm dia insulator bolts, washers and nuts etc including dismantling unserviceable insulator of any size complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for pin type insulator of size 100 mm height, 65 mm dia porcelain vitreous white or brown/green insulator (For LT) for working pressure 1100 volts with one galvanised spindle and two galvanised iron washers and nut including dismantling unserviceable insulator of any size complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for loop type insulator of size 60x90 mm , clearence of hole 16 mm porcelain vitreous white or brown/green insulator (For LT) for working pressure 1100 volts including dismantling unserviceable insulator of any size complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for errection in position including steel tubular swaged poles type 410 SP-31 (09.00 metres long) complete with cast iron base plate, finial taper plug, bolts, nuts, screws and top cover all as specified and including the following:- (a) Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 mtr wide and 2 mtr deep for pole foundation and getting out in soft/ loose soil, returning filling in the excavation of soil after fixing the pole in foundation ramming earth around in layer not exc 25cm thick and disposal of surplus soil to a distance not exc 50 mtrs. (b) Material and labour for providing PCC 1:4:8 type D-2, using 40mm graded stone aggregate as in foundation, 600 X 600 mm cross section planting depth 1.8 mtr for concrete casing the pole upto GL complete all as directed. (c) Material and labour for providing PCC 1:3:6 type C-2, using 40mm graded stone aggregate for plinth block/collar above GL 300 mm high and 450mm dia all as directed. (d) Material and labour for painting of pole externally with one coat of black bituminous paint (upto planting depth) and above plinth block/concrete collar with two coat of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide steel primer including preparation of surface including painting of 30cm wide blue bands 3 Nos. with synthetic enamel paint in alternate layer upto the height of 1.5m above plinth block. (e) Material and labour for writing letter or figures (Block, Roman, italic as Indian) with thick synthetic enamel paint of approved shade not exc height in numbering of pole all as directed.

S & F in replacement stay assembly comprising of galvanised iron stay bow of size 40 cm X14 cm, 20 mm dia & 1800 mm long GI stay rod including excavation, PCC, GI nuts MS stay plate 300 mm X 300 mm X 6 mm, 2 No thimble, 50X6 mm flat iron stay clamp, Steel stay wire 16 mm dia bolts , nuts and washers etc including taking down unserviceable stay assembly of any size complete all as shown in electrical plate No 1 of MES SSR 1991 Part 1

Dismantling cross arms, bracings, supports, clamps and back plates from existing poles (other than dismantled poles) and pole structures complete.

Fixing only cross arms, bracing, supports, clamps and back plate, obtained from demolition with & including new nuts, bolts, washers, welding, bending cold or hot, drilling holes for bolts, in any shape or size as directed including two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for cross arms, bracings, supports, clamps and back plates fabricated from structural steel section including nuts, bolts, washers etc, welding, bending cold or hot, drilling holes for bolts, in any shape or size as directed and inclusive of applying one priming coat and two coats of synthetic enamel paint/aluminium paint including taking down corroded items of any type and size all as specified above complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix and stringing of OH electric ACSR conductor of any size fixing to insulator with necessary binding wire of suitable size including taking down unserviceable ACSR conductor of any type and size complete all as specified and directed. Note:- (i) 3% extra will be added to the weight for sagging. (ii) Binding and jointing will not be considered for measurement and all the jumper shall be fixed with minimum 6 pg clamps and the quoted rate shall deemed to be include in the unit rate quoted.

Material and labour replacement of GI cradle guard hexagonal / rectangular with galvanised steel wire of 3.15mm to 4 mm dia including taking down unserviceable GI craddle of any size and type complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix galvanised steel continuous earth wire of size 4.00 mm including taking down unserviceable GI earth wire of any size and type complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix galvanised stay strand wire of size 7/ 4 mm including taking down unserviceable Stay wire wire of any size and type complete all as specified and directed.

Restringing of LT over head line conductor comprising of any size ACSR conductor / GI wire on existing pole after opening from insulator by taking out of binding wire and refixing the same with suitable size of binding wire upto permissible sag after restringing including cutting of tree branches and trimming of smaller branches of any size up to 2 metre each side of OH line which touch/ falling on the OH line without damaging of 4 wire (3 phase and neutral) span exc 25.00m but n. exc 35.00m complete all as specified and directed.

All as per Sl. item No. 22 here in above but 6 wire (3 phase, neutral and street light) span exc 25.00m but n. exc 35.00m complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for GI tubing, light grade, 50mm dia with all necessary fittings, laid in trenches, under floor/road crossing, fixed on poles for cable protection fixed with the clamps made out of FI 25 x 3mm duly painted with two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of approved primer etc. including taking down old unserviceable any size and capacity of GI pipe complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for GI tubing, light grade, 80mm dia with all necessary fittings, laid in trenches, under floor/road crossing, fixed on poles for cable protection fixed with the clamps made out of FI 25 x 3mm duly painted with two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of approved primer etc. including taking down old unserviceable any size and capacity of GI pipe complete all as specified and directed.

M&L PVC line spacer for LT over head line for 3 wire system complete all as directed Note- Required T&P will be arranged by contractor no extra cost shall be paid) all as specified and directed.

M&L for painting to steel tubular pole with aluminium enamel paint of 9.00 Mtr including cross arms, clamps any size and nuts, bolts etc with one coat of aluminium synthetic enamel paint including preparing the surfaces free from finish particalsand making the smooth surface and numbering on pole with black ground such as pole number and source of supply, painting with radium paint around the pole at width of 10cm, similar three rounds from 1.5 m GL top on circumferance of pole complete all as specified and directed.

Cutting and trimming of trees and branches to clear the over head line in the arc of HT/LT over head line feeders and removal of the trimmed branches of trees complete all as specified and directed. Notes : 1. Any ACSR conductor damaged during the cuttings of trees / branches shall be repaired and jointed / fixed by the contractor, to the entire satisfaction of Engr-in-Charge, without any extra cost and nothing extra shall be admissible from the department on this account what-so-ever. 2. The cutting / trimming of tree branches shall be done to atleast 2.00 metre radius of OH line. 3. The unit of measurement is 'SPAN' i.e. distance covered between two poles.

Cutting of bituminous road/PCC hard standing/road/floor for laying of GI pipe upto 80mm dia (trench not more than 0.3m x 0.3m) for passing of cable including making good the disturbed surfaces in PCC 1:2:4, type B-2 (using 40mm graded stone aggregate) as per existing complete all as specified and directed. Note:-GI pipe shall be measured & paid separately under relevant item.

M&L for servicing/repairing of APFC panel, any type and size upto 150 KVAR for making them functional by removing and cleaning of dusts, checking control wiring and connections, replacement of any damaged control wire, checking capacitors, tightening of all electrical connections and hardware, checking of metering devices, relays, etc. to make the panel functional complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Spare parts required shall be measured paid separately under relevant item.

Note:- (i) Complaint shall be done within 24 hrs after intimation or receiving reciept of complain slip by JE/ AGE otherwise penalty of Rs 250.00 per day per complaint will be levied on contractor. (ii) Complaints will be reported on daily basis with complaint register. (iii) Other minor items such as insulating tape, screws, small pieces of electrical cables PVC insulated copper multistranded conductor of size 2.5 Sqmm three core upto length of 1.5 m etc as required to attend the complaint is included in quoted rates.
