Construction of 10 nos. Recharge Structures under the Sub-Mission Shallow Aquifer Management (SAM 2.0) funded under AMRUT 2.0, Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA).Recall

Table no. 1 and 5 NIUA , scope of work comprises site clearance, layout setting-out and barricading of the proposed recharge pit area, excavation of approximately 18.00 Cum earthwork for construction of recharge pit (average depth 4.0 m and outer diameter 2.42 m), disposal of surplus excavated earth, and construction of 0.80 Cum PCC (1:2:4) base. The recharge pit shall be constructed with 4.50 Cum brick masonry in CM 1:6 and finished with 11.00 Sqm internal cement plaster. The filtration system shall consist of 0.15 Cum stone boulders (80–150 mm size), 0.15 Cum pebbles (40–80 mm size), 0.15 Cum activated charcoal layer (300 mm thick) and 0.15 Cum coarse sand filter media for effective treatment and recharge of storm water. Further, 5.00 Rmt of 100 mm dia UPVC inlet pipe with valve and fittings shall be provided along with 01 No. galvanized steel mesh cover, 01 No. RCC cover slab with manhole opening, 01 No. CI manhole frame and cover and 05 Nos. MS safety footrests. The work also includes provision of 100 mm high mud bund with turfing, 500 mm wide pebbling around the recharge pit, 01 No. hydraulic conductivity (slug) test, 08 Nos. water quality tests during OandM period 2 year, and 01 L.S. overflow connection to the existing storm water drain. The site shall be thoroughly cleaned after completion of the work, including removal of malba, surplus earth and other unwanted material, complete in all respects as per specifications and directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.

The scope of work under Table No. 2 of NIUA comprises site clearance, layout setting-out, barricading and excavation of approximately 22.00 Cum earthwork for construction of desilting and filtration chambers, including dressing of sides and disposal of surplus excavated material. The work further includes drilling of 350 mm dia deep recharge shaft up to 20.00 m depth in all types of strata by rotary drilling method, preparation of bore log and lowering/fixing of 18.00 Rmt of 250 mm dia perforated UPVC bore pipe up to the first sandy layer. The recharge system shall also include 12.00 Rmt of 200 mm dia UPVC inlet pipe complete with fittings and connections. Construction of desilting and filtration chambers shall comprise 1.20 Cum PCC (1:2:4), 8.00 Cum brick masonry in CM 1:6 and 38.00 Sqm cement plaster on internal faces. The filtration media shall consist of 1.60 Cum stone boulders (80–150 mm size), 1.60 Cum pebbles (40–80 mm size), 1.20 Cum coarse sand (2–6 mm size) and 1.20 Cum coarse sand (0.5–2 mm size) in graded layers for effective filtration and groundwater recharge. Further, 02 Nos. galvanized steel mesh covers, 02 Nos. RCC cover slabs with manhole openings, 02 Nos. heavy-duty CI manhole covers and 08 Nos. hot-dip galvanized MS footrests shall be provided. The scope also includes provision of 100 mm high mud bund with turfing, pebble dressing around chambers, 01 No. hydraulic conductivity (slug) test, mobilization and demobilization of drilling rig, overflow connection to the existing storm water drain, and 08 Nos. quarterly water quality tests during the 02-year Operation and Maintenance period. The OandM period of 02 years shall include periodic desilting, replenishment of filter media, minor repairs, inspection and upkeep of the recharge system. The site shall be restored and cleaned after completion of the work, including removal of malba, surplus earth and all other incidental works, complete in all respects as per specifications and directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.

The scope of work under Table No. 3 of NIUA comprises site clearance, layout setting-out, barricading and excavation of approximately 18.00 Cum earthwork for construction of the silt/oil chamber and recharge well, including dressing of sides and disposal of surplus excavated material. The work further includes drilling of 350 mm dia deep recharge shaft up to 20.00 m depth in all types of strata by rotary drilling method, preparation of bore log and lowering/fixing of 18.00 Rmt of 250 mm dia perforated UPVC bore pipe up to the first sandy layer. Additionally, 4.00 Rmt of 300 mm dia UPVC inlet pipe shall be provided for conveying storm water from the chamber to the recharge well. Construction of the recharge structure shall comprise 1.40 Cum PCC (1:2:4) base concrete, 6.00 Cum brick masonry in CM 1:6, 30.00 Sqm cement plaster on internal faces and 0.70 Cum RCC flooring in the silt/oil chamber base. The filtration arrangement shall consist of 0.90 Cum stone pebbles (40–80 mm size), 0.90 Cum gravel (2–6 mm size), 0.35 Cum activated charcoal layer (200 mm thick) and 0.55 Cum coarse sand (0.5–2 mm size) arranged in graded layers for effective removal of silt, oil and other impurities prior to groundwater recharge. The scope further includes provision of 8.00 Sqm precast cement wall rings around the recharge well filter zone, 4.50 Sqm MS grating over the silt/oil chamber, 01 No. galvanized steel mesh cover, 02 Nos. RCC cover slabs with manhole openings, 02 Nos. heavy-duty CI manhole covers and 08 Nos. hot-dip galvanized MS safety footrests. The estimate also provides for 100 mm high mud bund with turfing, pebble dressing around the chamber, 01 No. hydraulic conductivity (slug) test, mobilization and demobilization of rotary drilling rig, overflow arrangement connected to the existing storm water drain and 08 Nos. quarterly water quality tests during the 02-year Operation and Maintenance period. The OandM period of 02 years shall include periodic desilting of chambers, replenishment of filter media, minor repairs, cleaning, inspection and upkeep of the recharge system to ensure efficient functioning. The site shall be restored to its original condition after completion of the work, including removal of malba, disposal of surplus earth and all incidental works, complete in all respects as per approved specifications and directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.

The work further includes drilling of 350 mm dia deep recharge shaft up to 20.00 m depth in all types of strata by rotary drilling method, preparation of bore log and lowering/fixing of 18.00 Rmt of 250 mm dia perforated UPVC bore pipe up to the first sandy layer. The recharge system shall also include 4.00 Rmt of 300 mm dia UPVC inlet pipe from silt/oil chamber to recharge well. Civil works comprise construction of 1.40 Cum PCC (1:2:4) base concrete, 6.00 Cum brick masonry in CM 1:6, 30.00 Sqm cement plaster on internal faces and 0.70 Cum RCC flooring in the silt/oil chamber. The filtration arrangement shall consist of 0.90 Cum stone pebbles (40–80 mm size), 0.90 Cum gravel (2–6 mm size), 0.35 Cum activated charcoal layer and 0.55 Cum coarse sand filter media in graded layers for effective filtration of storm water before recharge. The scope further includes provision of 8.00 Sqm precast cement wall ring around recharge well filter zone, 4.50 Sqm MS grating over silt/oil chamber, 01 No. galvanized steel mesh cover, 02 Nos. The scope of work under Table No. 6 of NIUA comprises site clearance, layout setting-out and barricading of the proposed recharge structure area, excavation of approximately **45.00 Cum earthwork** for construction of settling, inspection and filtration chambers including dressing of sides and disposal of surplus excavated material. The work further includes drilling of **300 mm dia deep recharge borewell up to 25.00 m depth** through all types of strata by rotary drilling method, including collection of soil samples and preparation of bore log. The recharge borewell shall be provided with **20.00 Rmt of 150 mm dia UPVC well casing/screen pipe** and **24.00 Rmt of 100 mm dia M.S. ERW casing pipe** complete with anti-corrosive coating. Civil works comprise construction of **2.50 Cum PCC (1:2:4) base concrete, 12.00 Cum brick masonry in CM 1:6, 55.00 Sqm internal cement plaster and 1.20 Cum RCC intermediate slab** over inspection and filtration chambers. The filtration arrangement shall consist of **2.80 Cum pebbles (40–80 mm size), 2.00 Cum gravel (2–6 mm size), 0.60 Cum activated charcoal layer and 1.20 Cum coarse sand filter media** arranged in graded layers for effective filtration and groundwater recharge. The scope further includes provision of **01 No. inlet pipe chamber (500×500×500 mm) with grating, 8.00 Rmt of 200 mm dia UPVC inlet pipe with gate valve and fittings, 6.00 Rmt of 50 mm dia overflow pipe with air vent, 03 Nos. RCC cover slabs with multiple manhole openings, 04 Nos. heavy-duty CI manhole covers and 12 Nos. hot-dip galvanized MS safety footrests**. The estimate also includes pebble dressing around chambers, **01 No. hydraulic conductivity (slug) test**, mobilization and demobilization of rotary drilling rig, disposal of **45.00 Cum surplus earth**, overflow connection to the existing storm water drain and **08 Nos. quarterly water quality tests during the 02-year Operation and Maintenance period**. The OandM period of **02 years** shall include periodic desilting of chambers, replenishment of filter media, minor repairs, cleaning, inspection and upkeep of the recharge structure to ensure efficient performance and sustained groundwater recharge. The scope of work under Table No. 7 of NIUA comprises site clearance, layout setting-out and barricading of the proposed recharge well area, excavation of approximately **4.00 Cum earthwork** including dressing of sides and disposal of surplus excavated material. The work further includes drilling of **300 mm dia deep recharge shaft up to 30.00 m depth** through all types of strata by rotary drilling method, including collection of soil samples and preparation of bore log. The recharge borewell shall be provided with **12.00 Rmt of 150 mm dia UPVC well casing/screen pipe** and **18.00 Rmt of 100 mm dia M.S. ERW casing pipe** complete with anti-corrosive coating. Civil works comprise construction of **0.60 Cum PCC (1:2:4) base concrete, 2.30 Cum brick masonry in CM 1:6 and 7.50 Sqm internal cement plaster** for the recharge well structure. The filtration arrangement shall consist of **0.40 Cum stone boulders (80–150 mm size), 0.15 Cum pebbles (40–80 mm size), 0.10 Cum coarse sand (2–6 mm size) and 0.10 Cum coarse sand (0.5–2 mm size)** arranged in graded layers for effective filtration and groundwater recharge. The scope further includes provision of **6.00 Rmt of 100 mm dia UPVC inlet pipe** complete with gate valve, fittings and connections, **01 No. galvanized steel mesh cover, 02 Nos. The recharge borewell shall be provided with **15.00 Rmt of 150 mm dia UPVC well casing/screen pipe** and **20.00 Rmt of 100 mm dia M.S. ERW casing pipe** complete with anti-corrosive coating. Civil works comprise construction of **1.00 Cum PCC (1:2:4) base concrete, 5.00 Cum brick masonry in CM 1:6 and 24.00 Sqm cement plaster** on internal faces of settling pond and recharge well. The recharge borewell shall be provided with **16.00 Rmt of 150 mm dia UPVC well casing/screen pipe** and **22.00 Rmt of 100 mm dia M.S. ERW casing pipe** complete with anti-corrosive coating. Civil works comprise construction of **1.00 Cum PCC (1:2:4) base concrete, 4.50 Cum brick masonry in CM 1:6 and 22.00 Sqm cement plaster** on internal faces of the settling pond and recharge well.
