(i) Steel frame work for portal at both side of opening of blast pen with truss over column structures all as shown on drawing.
(ii) Column structures as well as truss shall be provided with cladding of 0.71mm thick Galvalume sheet. Roofing over truss shall be 0.71mm thick Galvalume sheets with 20-25% transparent sheet of 1.0mm thickness polycarbonate sheet, all as specified and shown on drawing. Gutters shall be as shown in drg.

| 6.015. The entire structural steel provided under this work shall be painted with two coats of anticorrosive polyurethane paint over a coat of PU primer after preparation of surface. 6. 0.71 mm thick galvalume sheet are to be used for covering the entire portal frame with colour as approved by the user. 7 Any miscellenous- missing items requried for completion of job NOTES: (a) Work shall be executed as per CE (AF) Gandhinagar drawing no CEAG/UTRL/STR/114/2025, Sheet No 1/8 to 8/8, CEAG/UTRL/STR/AMD/114/2025, Sheet No 1/1 CEAG/UTRL/STR/AMD-II/114/2025, Sheet No 1/2 & 2/2. (d) Any damage occuring to the existing structure/floor etc during execution shall be made good by the contractor using the same specification or superior specification to the satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge/GE. (e) The complete erection of hangar portal frame, doors etc. shall be independent from the existing structure which should be self supportive and does not transfer any hung loads or forces exerting to the existing building structure. | ||||||

M & L for 100 mm thick boulder or stone hardcore of gauge exc 63 mm but n exc 100 mm, deposited, spread and levelled in layers n exc 15 cm thick, watered and rolled/ rammed to a true surface complete all as specified and directed.
M & L Cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-2 using 40mm graded crushed stone aggregate for foundations, fillings and mass concrete complete all as specified and directed.
M & L Reinforced cement concrete M-30 design mix as in foundations, including rafts, footings, foundation beams; plinth beams; bases for columns, etc.; basement slabs, under-reamed piles and mass concrete and the like complete all as specified and directed.
M & L form work to sides of concrete foundations, footings, bases of columns, raft and raft beams, sides and soffits (if any) of foundation and plinth beams; and similar work; vertical or to batter for rough finished surfaces of concrete all as specified and directed.
M & L for CRS TMT bars 10mm dia and over cut to length bent to shape required including cranking, bending spirally for hooping of columns, hooking ends and binding with and incl MS wire (annealed) not less than 0.90mm dia all as specified and directed.
M & L three coats of white wash to old decorated plastered or unplastered surfaces of ceiling including complete removal of existing treatment all as specified and directed.

Demolition of Concrete (with using full depth diamond cutter machine to cut existing PQC to be demolished from all sides) of any description and in any position not otherwise specially provided for, including removal of demolished material upto a distance of 1.50 Km complete all as specified and directed.
M & L for forming 25 mm width Expansion joint in concrete slab for full depth of PQC. Early entry saw and subsequent cutting by using diamond bit cutter of appropriate size, straight and smooth edges. Joint cleaned thoroughly with application compressed air. Joint shall be made dry, vacuum cleaned and free of dirt, oil, vegetation and other debris. The joint then filled with pre-molded 25 mm thick compressible polyethylene closed cell type filler board as specified, thereafter application of two coats of primer with thin brush by forward and backward movement at an interval of 30 minutes before placing the backup rod and pouring the sealant. Placing of closed cell medium density, crossed linked polyethylene foam backup rod of 30 mm dia, over filler board and filled with polyurethane based sealant complying with BS5212, Bs-4254 and EN-141875-2003 with minimum movement accommodation factor (MAF) of +/- 30% having minimum 10 year performance guarantee, applying masked tape on the edges of joints and removing the masking tape after filling of sealant as per the method specified by the manufacturer complete all as specified and directed. Notes:- (i) Rounding of edge shall be done with hand grinder upto 5-6 mm dia. (ii) While cutting expansion joint, cutting machine should have facilities of arrangement of dual blade spaced at expansion joint width such that joint can be formed at a time.
M & L for cutting of Construction joint 25 mm deep and 10 mm wide by early entry saw and subsequent cutting by using diamond bit cutter of appropriate size, straight and smooth edges. Notes:- (i) Primer to be used before filling sealant (ii) Edges shall be levelled and joints cut within 24 hours using diamond bit cutters of Bosch or equivalent used for cutting green concrete. (iii) The vertical edges or sides of concrete of construction joint shall be treated with a coat of lime wash or bituminous paint before concreting the adjacent bay.
Material and Labour for preparation of new surfaces and applying two coat road marking paint, white or golden yellow for painting lines, dashes, arrows, letters, etc. on roads/pavement and the like exc 10 cm wide complete all as specified and directed.
E/M works
Supply and lay for double wall corrugated (DWC) high density polythene pipes of size nominal outer dia 63 mm & nominal inner dia 50 mm dia having corrugation on the outer wall and plain surface on the inner wall confirming to ISI 14930 (Part I and II) for protection of underground cables with all fittings laid in trenches / road / nallah or fixed along wall for cable protection all as specified and directed.
Supply, laying & testing cable LT XLPE insulated, screened, PVC bedded, galvanized steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cables (heavy duty) with stranded aluminium conductor, 1100 volts grade of size 4 core x 25 Sqmm including necessary double compression brass cable glands and testing the cable before & after laying complete all as specified and as directed.
Supply, installtion commissioning and testing of Automation operation system for Hanger door Automated opertion by using the drive system as required to be designed for electrical as well as manual operation, Width of Hangar Door 18.30 Mtr and Height shall be 8.90 Mtr in 6 Nos. of Door Leaf, In case of power failure, change over from electrical to manual operation is to be achieved by shifting the idler gear into manual position and using the handle provided complete all as specified and shown in drawings and including the following :-
(a) Flame proof squirrel cage copper wound with highest energy efficient electric motor of capacity 1.0 HP suitable for door movement with manual clutch release mechanism,positive drive with inbuilt MS casted drive wheels fitted with sealed bearing- 01 Nos per each door consisting of three leaves X 02 (b) MS casted Non drive wheels in special MS housing fitted sealed bearing - 10 Nos per each door,
(c) Additional Top Track Telescopic Deflection Assembly, the upper frame section each leaf shall be equipped with a minimum of 06 Nos horizontal & vertical arranged MS guide rollers (03 Nos on each side).These rollers shall be fitted/ mounted in a MS bracket assembly alongwith internal/ external pipe with spring- 12 Nos.
(d) Suitable Flame Proof electrical control Panel out door type (double door both side openable) made out of 3.15 mm thick CRCA sheet fitted with MCB TPN of 32 Amps Switch Relay with emergency stop function, Emergency stop switch one set for each driving leaf consisting of suitable relays, power & auxiliary contactors, over load and under voltage protections and single phase preventer phase sequence corrector incl other necessary components reqd for both side opreation of door with limit switch to avoid over run etc. Each motor door to be provided with flameproof operator pendant for door open, close and emergency stop operator push button.with 2.5 sqmm 4 core copper cable of suitable length (55 Mtrs approx) for door operator electrical connections, 0.5 sqmm 8 core cable of suitable length (52 Mtrs approx) for ON/ OFF pendant, 0.5 sqmm 4 core cable of suitable length (210 Mtrs approx) for proximity sensors (08 Nos)- 02 Nos per door
Note :- (i) Specially designed Gear Drive along with Integral Drive Wheels/ Clutch for Emergency Manual Operation in case of POWER FAILURE to be Incorporated with Conts, heavy duty Flame proof Electric Motor IP-65 Protection to suit electric supply of 415 Volts, 3 phase, AC, 50 Hz with energy efficient rating having PF more than 0.95, robust construction. Master Door Panel & Slave Door Panel will be a set of 2 Master & 4 Slave (ii) The electrical operation of each master panel shall be carried out from a control panel mounted at the extreme end of the door openings inside the hangar building
(iii) Master panel shall be fitted with a pendant push button station. The pendant shall be mounted to the leading edge of the leaf on a cord about 2 meters long that allows the operator to move from side to side to see where the door is being driven. The pendent is hung up on a hood when not in use. (iv) The buttons shall include engraved marking like “Move”, “Open Mode” (as required) and “Emergency STOP” buttons. The “Open”, “Close” and “Move” push buttons are the dead man’s type; the Emergency “STOP” button is a red mushroom-headed, “twist – to reset” type. In addition a “Power ON” indicator lamp shall be fitted.
(v) Master Panel shall be fitted internally with an audible and visual alarm which operates at all times the “MOVE” button is pressed and for a safe period before the leaf is in motion under power. An interlock switch is fitted to the internal access panels for the drive units to prevent any leaf being used it is open. On operation OPEN/CLOSE push button, the variable speed drive control panel shall enable the doors to be started and accelerated to their running speed by a smooth & gradual increase of the speed over an interval of time. Similarly, on receiving a confirmation from the ‘Pre-final” limit/proximity switch, the panel shall automatically decrease the speed of the door smoothly & gradually from running speed to full rest.
(i) MANUAL OPERATION :- A mechanism to ensure two persons able to operate the drive manually with handle and doors shall be opened by disengaging the Gear Box, shall be provided separately. (ii) MOTORISED DRIVE PARAMETERS :- The drive system is required to be designed for electrical as well as manual operation, in case of power failure. Change over from electrical to manual operation is to be achieved by shifting the idler gear into manual position and using the handle provided
(iii) ELECTRICAL CONTROL SYSTEM :- The electrical control system shall be able to control all aspects of the door movements. The control system for each door shall consist of panel, limit/proximity switches, trailing/bunching cable etc. (iv) ELECTRICAL POWER SUPPLY :- The incoming power supply to the door panel shall be 415V, 3phase AC & 50Cys, 4 wire & earth. Power supply to each master leaf shall be by means of a looped trailing/bunching copper cable 4 Core 6 Sqmm unarmored system, mounted in the top guide track area from a junction box placed at the top extremities inside the hanger.
(v) CONTROL PANEL SYSTEM :- Each Door Control Panel shall consist of DOL starters, drive contactors, motor protection, control fuse holder, fused and indication lamps interlock contactors, limit/proximity switches, warning lights/hooters, trailing/bunching cable/wiring on the door after the main incoming power junction box. The incoming and of each control panel will be of MCCB 415 Volts, 63 Amps, 10KA and Outgoing will be of MCCB 415 Volts, 32 Amps, 10KA.
(vi) DOOR OPERATION SAFETY :- The following features shall be incorporated in the control system of the door: (a) The Control Panel shall be located as directed for easy operation and enable the operator to have a full view of the area during operation of the door. (b) The OPEN & CLOSE Push Buttons are constant pressure (HOLD to RUN) and the EMERGENCY STOP Push Buttons is STAY PUT type and have to be twisted to release.
(c) Emergency limit switch shall be provided at the extreme limits of travel just before the mechanical buffers. These emergency limit switches shall totally cut-off the control/power supply to the system in case the doors over shoot their normal limits. (d) Audio/Visual Alarm:- Master door panel shall be provided with a Flash Light cum Hooter that shall start & continue to operate during the time door is in operation. (e) Key operation:- An operation key switch shall be provided on each control panel to prevent unauthorized operation of the doors. Note:- All wiring and panels (Pendants master panels and slave panels) should be flame proof, weather proof. All cables should run in suitable size MS conduit with all accessories and junction boxes and cost deemed included in the said items. All operating switches should be self illuminating/ back light for the working in night.
