Strengthening and Restoration of IBB Link Road at Kokradanga area under M and R for the Year 2025-26.

Filling of geo-tubes (25m long and 10m circumference) with sand/silt of volume 176 cum by using mud pump not below the fill height of 1.60m as per drawing and technical specifications, binding the tube with 9mm nylon rope to jati bamboo pegs of length 2m placed @ 5m c/c along both sides of the tube to keep the tube in position during filling, as specified and directed including all loading, unloading and handling charges and local carriage up to a distance of 250M, pumping slurry using mud pump from a distance up to 500m, etc. including setting up of the tube laying platform, complete as directed.

Earth work in excavation by hydraulic excavator, to proper grade and slopes as required including utilizing the spoils for filling works in the vicinity including removing roots & vegetation, dressing to design section etc. complete as directed. Ordinary Soil, For depth up to 3.00 m

Earth work in embankment by Tractor-trailer carriage by mechanical means in locally available ordinary soil excluding rocky soil free from roots & vegetation and stacking in regular measurable stacks at suitable places including clearing debries, breaking clods up to 4 cm cube, etc. complete as directed. (12.50 % deduction will be made from measured quantities on account of shrinkage) For initial lead up to 1 Km and for all lifts For every Km extra lead beyond initial lead of 1 Km & up to 10 Km. For every Km extra lead beyond initial lead 10 Km. Total lead=15 km

Spreading of earth stacks over the crest and slope of embankment and places as directed in uniform layer of 22 cm. thick including breaking clods, dressing, ramming etc. complete where necessary including dressing of the embankment, etc. complete as directed.

Hire charge of 5 HP water pump with operator and excluding P.O.L.

Construction of whole Bholuka Bamboo double Screen with matured Bholuka Bamboo stacks 75 mm to 100 mm dia., placed at 30 cm clear apart (i.e. 40 cm C/C) driven 4.00 m to 4.50 m below ground and 3.0 m to 3.50 m above ground with hydraulic driving equipment including hire charge of equipment, cost of P.O.L. etc. and providing with 1 (One) row of horizontal half Jati bamboo kamies tied with galvanised wire of 16 G to 18 G etc. complete as directed.(Using Bhaluka Bamboo at the rate of 240.0 nos./Rm & Jati Bamboo at the rate of 9.60 nos./Rm)

Supplying and Construction of bamboo cribs fabricated out in pyramid shape out of matured Bholuka bamboo 75 mm to 100 mm dia. complete with all the branches and foliages with apex point at 7.00 m from the bottom. At 0.60 m above the base of 1st row of horizontal stiffeners of size 4.00 m × 3.00 m are to be provided along with 2 nos. of cross struts. A second set of horizontal stiffeners along with cross stiffeners similar to the 1st set are provided at height of 4.00 m from the bottom. One set of cross bracing are to be provided in each face in between the 1st and 2nd horizontal stiffeners. All the stiffeners and inclined members are to be projected 0.30 m beyond the longitudinal members. All the points are to be pinned with 22 Cm long patent nails and protruding end is to be bent properly to have a firm grip and the apex point is also to be clustered with 8 G. wire. All the members are to be punched with chisel or auger. The cribs are to be weighted with 25 nos. of earth filled polythene empty cement bags in all corners and middle of 1st and 2nd row of horizontal stiffeners of the cribs, tied firmly with 8 G galvanised wire etc. including cost of material and complete as directed. (Using Bhaluka Bamboo at the rate of 14.00 nos./Rm) a) Construction of Cribs

(Using Jati Bamboo at the rate of 21.43 nos./Rm)

Supplying and launching whole trees 1 m to 2 m girth and 6.0 m minimum length at eroded river bank with spreaded branches and green beams anchoring the same on the river bank with 8 G wire 3 nos. tied to pieces of 15 cm.to 20 cm. dia., 1.50 m long hard jungles wood post buried at bank 0.9 m to 1.20 m below ground to a safe distance of 15 m from the eroded bank including supplying of all material and carriage of trees to the site of with elephant or by any other means as necessary, etc. as necessary for the trees etc. and complete as directed.

Labour charge for filling of empty cement bags to attain minimum filled up volume of 0.03 Cum with filled up size of 0.75m x 0.40m x 0.10 m, laying and pitching of the earth filled cement bags including excavation and borrowing earth, breaking clods, filling in bags and supplying and stitching the mouth with jute sutli, etc. complete as directed. (cement bags will be supplied by the department free of cost). (to be used only as emergency flood fighting material during flood season) . For borrowing earth from a distance beyond 30 m & up to 60 m.

Earthwork in bank trimming to the designed section /slope by mechanical means including removing the trimmed soils to a minimum distance of 30 m, complete as directed.
