Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 mtr wide, and not exceeding 1.5 metre in depth in soft / loose soil for foundation, laying of cables or pipes (where provided) for protection of cable or fixing poles and stays and struts and including trimming of sides and forming bottom surfaces to required level complete all as directed.

Returning filling in, including spreading , levelling, watering and well ramming in layers each not exceeding 25cm thick in soil complete .

Removal of surplus excavated soil to a distance not exceeding 50 metre and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 metre above the starting point complete.

M & L for local sand cushioning, with dry and clean sand, over and under the under ground cables in trenches, ducts for cable protection including consolidation, 80mm thick to the authorized width as per SSR-Part-1 before laying of cable and 150mm thick after laying of cable and punned down to 180mm after laying complete. Note:- Punned thickness shall be considered for payment purpose.

Supply and laying un-reinforced precast concrete cable cover, class HV type I, with flat size 300mmx 180mmx40mm for cable protection cover, laid flat and dry in trenches over the cable, perpendicular to the direction of cable complete.

Re-laying only, locally available old bricks sub class 'B' bricks (old size) for cable protection cover, laid flat and dry in trenches over the cable, perpendicular to the direction of cable complete.

Taking out old under ground HT/LT XLPE/PVC cable of any size to find out fault from trenches/wall/roof/road/pipe/pole/DB/HT Panels including taking out of brick layer /PCC cable cover and segregation/ staking of serviceable brick from trenches for reuse and removal of broken brick bats/cover from site complete.

Re-Laying only old serviceable (cable obtained from item taking out after checking the fault) under ground HT/LT XLPE/PVC cable 11000 Volt grade of any size in trenches/ fixed to wall/Pole/roof/laid in floor including necessary connections and suitable size of thimbling complete.

Note for item Nos. 7 & 8:- Exacavation, earth work, cable protection, joint and jointing material shall be measured and paid for separately under appropriate item.

Supply and stretching in replacement ACSR of any size as per site requirement on existing HT poles including binding on existing insulator with aluminium binding wire 2mm dia complete. (for measurement and payment purpose of ACSR the weight of binding wire shall not be considered)

Supply, laying, jointing and testing of XLPE HT Cable 11 KV, 'Earthed System', heavy duty with XLPE insulated stranded aluminium conductor served with an inner sheathening of PVC tape armoured with Galvanized steel strip or wire and over all PVC sheathed conforming to IS-7098 (Part-II) with latest amendments laid in trenches/fixed to wall/pole/laid in floor including necessary connections and suitable size of thimbling complete having following cross sectional area :- (Exacavation & earth work, jointing material , cable cover & sand cushioning shall be measured and paid for separately under relevent item of this BOQ.)

Un binding from insulators and re-stretching only existing ACSR of any size on HT poles including binding the ACSR with new insulators with and including aluminium binding wire 2mm dia complete.

Un binding from insulators and re-stretching only existing ACSR of any size on HT poles including binding the ACSR with new insulators with and including aluminium binding wire 4mm dia complete.

Note for item Nos. 12 & 13:- (i) For measurement purpose only length of each wire shall be measured. (ii) Insulator shall be measured and paid separately.

Cutting / trimming of tree branches upto 1.5 metre distance on both sides of HT/ LT over head lines including collection and removal from road complete. ( Pole to pole distance shall be considered as one span.)

M & L for making the hole under road and hard standing not less than 1 metre depth and suitable for laying and inserting pipe upto 100 mm dia any length by mechanical drill system or Auger system and making the surface good as per existing surface complete. Note: GI tubing shall be measured and paid separately.

S & F in replacement pin type porcelain vitreous white, brown or green insulator of size 150 mm height, 150 mm dia for 11000 volts grade including one galvanised mild steel spindle, one galvanised iron nuts and two washer complete.

S & F in replacement disc type insulator porcelain vitreous 145 mm high and 255 mm dia ball and socket type white, brown or green single disc assembly for tension with tension clamps for conductors working pressure 11000 volts complete.

Repair to operating mechanism of 11 KV air break gang operating capacity 200/400 Amps with necessary oiling/greasing to moving parts and to set right the alignment of Male/Female contacts for proper working complete all as directed. Notes :- (i) Male/Female contacts if replaced shall be measured and paid separately under appropriate item of this BOQ. (ii) The T & P and minor repair i.e. replacement of the nut/bolts etc. will be arranged by the contractor and the cost of the same shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rates.

S & F in replacement heavy duty male and female (each set will be comprising with one male and one female contact) contact of brass Zinc plated for GOD switches of current rating capacity 200 Amps complete.

All as per item No. 19 above but suitable for GOD switches of current rating capacity 400 Amps complete.

Supply and laying GI tubing, light grade, 80mm bore complete with all fittings for cable and earth continuity strip protection laid in trenches/fixed to poles/along wall/under road/across the drain complete including taking down old pipe of any size/type.

All as per item No. 21 above but GI tubing of 100mm bore.

Note for item Nos. 21 & 22:- Excavation, earth work, cutting of floor, cutting of road and MS clamps for fixing the pipe along pole and wall shall be measured & paid separately under appropriate item of this BOQ.

Taking out old burnt/ defective straight through/ end joint of any size of 11 KV complete. Note: Excavation, earth work shall be measured & paid separately under appropriate item of this BOQ.

M & L for cold shrinkable end termination joint, indoor type, suitable for HT XLPE cable of size 95 sqmm 3 core, armoured, 11000 volt grade, heavy duty complete.

All as per Srl item No 25 above but suitable for HT XLPE cable of size 120 to 185 sqmm 3 core.

All as per Srl item No 25 above but suitable for HT XLPE cable of size 240 to 300 sqmm, 3 core.

Attending the complaint of HT UG cable of defective/burnt out underground HT cable of any size from junction boxes/ HT OH Line/HT panel, taking out the required length of cable from existing loop, cutting the defective portion of cable, providing required thimbles/connectors at cable end and reconnecting the cable in previous location with existing junction boxes/ HT OH Line/HT Panel etc complete. Note:- (i) The cost of required excavation & earthwork, returning, filling in relaying of sand and bricks and cost of drawing the required length from protection pipe breaking of required brick work/concrete and redoing the required work to match the existing surface shall be deemed to be included in quoted rates and nothing extra shall be paid on this account (ii) Additional cable/protection pipe required at site, if any, shall be measured and paid separately.

Attending the complaint of HT faulty/burnt out overhead one No conductor of any type / size from insulator on HT pole any type after taking proper shutdown, removal of tree/branches if any fell on over head line, loose the binding wire in each insulators and disconnecting cable connection if any, remove the burnt / damaged conductor/earth wire, making joint with new ACSR conductor of suitable size as directed, restretching all the loose spans for tightening to maintain proper sag, binding conductor & earth wire insulators with new binding wire of existing size, making connection of existing HT cable in old position including cutting of tree branches, if any, and removing from site and testing overhead line complete. Note:- (i) Cost for attending fault, cutting and removal of broken piece of tree / branches, disconnection and joining of binding wire with insulator, restretching required conductor, making connection with existing cable deemed to be included in quoted rates and nothing extra shall be paid on this account. (ii) Cost for new ACSR conductor, earth wire is shall be insulators used if any shall be measured & paid separately. Cost of binding wire shall be included in quoted rates.

Cleaning and preparation of old painted surfaces of HT PCC pole upto 1.5 mtr height from top of PCC foundation block, making alternative black and white strips (each strip 30 cm height) on pole with synthetic enamel paint and writing pole Nos including applying one coat of cement base paint on exposed surface of PCC coping and foundation block complete.

Cleaning and preparation of old painted surface of steel tubular pole 11 mtr long (4 pole structure) excluding planting depth complete and painting with one coat of aluminium paint including brackets, clamps, channel etc. and including making alternative black and white strips (each strip 30 cm height) on pole with synthetic enamel paint and writing pole Nos and including applying one coat of cement base paint on exposed surface of PCC coping and foundation block complete.

All as per srl item No. 39 above but (2 pole structure) complete.

M&L in replacement for earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode of size 60cmx60cmx6.0mm buried directly in ground, vertically to depth not less than 2.25mtr below normal ground level with top edge of the earth plate at depth not less than 1.5 metre below ground level surrounded from all sides with alternate layers of charcoal and common salt and connected to GI strip of size 25x4mm by means of GI bolts, nuts washers & check nuts electrode connected to main switch board or main control board or on poles or on transformer and GI pipe medium grade 20mm bore for watering, 40mm bore GI pipe medium grade for protection of GI strip upto test point including providing funnel and wire mesh GI frame and 10cm thick suitably reinforced RCC pit cover, PCC chamber pit with PCC (1:3:6) type C2 using 40mm graded stone aggregates complete including excavation and earth work in any type of strata, disposal of surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 mtr, all as specified ans shown in Electrical plate No. 3 of SSR Part-1, PCC pit shall be provided at least 50 cm away from the earth pit and not just on earth pit including testing on completion complete.

M & L for earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall on batten or recessed or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/ pipe for loop earthing etc. or any other indicated situation as required by using 25 x 4 mm GI strip complete.

S & F in replacement of HT feeder pillar box factory made cubical type dust and vermin proof, outdoor type, both side opening of size 110 x 100 x 60cm of CRCA sheet minimum 3 mm thick powder coated, machine pressed front opening in two halves with rubber gasket/bedding, locking arrangement with sliding bolt including aluminium bus bar of size 50 x 10 mm and 80 cm long 3 strips mounted on HT insulators. Each strip should be mounted minimum two insulator and nut bolt, panel shall be mounted on angle iron frame including heat shrinkable sleeve and legs made from angle iron of size 50 x 50 x 6 mm and legs 40 cm long duly spray painted internally and externally with two coats of synthethetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer and including grouted in PCC (1:2:4) type B-1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) complete incoming/outgoing cable and earth work such as excavation and removal of surplus soil etc.

M&L for in replacement of cable route indicator of size 500x300x100 mm made of precast cement concrete (1:2:4) type B-1, using 20mm graded stone aggregate in precast posts for rounded tops, embedded in ground with PCC (1:3:6) type C-2, all round of exposed surface of post above ground, 5mm thick plaster with CM (1:4), finishing the surface even and smooth without using extra cement, applying two coats of cement based paint, with writing letter in black colour in suitable size (like HT cable size and from ...... to .......) etc complete. Note:- The quoted rate for item is deemed to includen the cost of M & L for PCC1:3:6 type C2 and form work. Nothing extra shall be paid on this account.

Attending the complaint of HT 11/22 KV UG grade cable fault locating by using POT fault finding machine vehicle mounting incl T & P and labour complete with route finder mobile equipment as finding out one fault on one cable route including cutting of road/ plinth/ hard standing complete all as specifed and directed. Note:- (i) Cutting of road/plinth/ hard standing shall be deemed to be included in quoted rates and nothing extra shall be paid on this account. (ii) Excavation and cable joints shall be measured and paid separately. (iii) Vehicle mounted fault finding machine shall be arranged by the contractor, the rates deemed to be included in quoted rates.
