Round the clock operation and CAMC of Central AC plant (OEM-Dakin for chiller and Voltas for AHU) in Metrology Building at NPL campus

Part-A (Round the clock operation & CAMC) Round the clock operation of Central AC plant in metrology Building at NPL campus (as per scope of work attached). NOTE- (1) Tenderer are requested to check physically the Centralized AC plant before quoting the rate. Rate quoted inclusive all taxes. (2) Presently, the above said plant is running under operation & CAMC. On award of work, the plant will be handed over to contractor in as it is condition.

CAMC of airconditioning plant comprising of all the machinery, equipment installed in the AC Plant room including Chiller, Cooling Tower, Air Handling units, Precision AC units, Heat recovery units, Ventilation fancs, water treatment plant etc. (as per the scope of work attached). Complete in all respect as directed by engineer-in-charge.

Part-B (One time job for replacement of parts/ lines/ structure due to old age) VALVES WITHOUT INSULATION Supplying, fixing, testing and commissioning of following valves, gauges and strainers for condenser water circulation as per specifications. BUTTERFLY VALVE (MANUAL) with C I body SS disc nitrile sheet & O - ring & PN 16 pressure rating as specified.

INSULATED VALVES Supplying, fixing, testing and commissioning of following valves, strainers, gauges in the chilled water plumbing duly insulated to the same specifications as the connected piping and adequately supported as per specifications. BALANCING VALVE WITH BUILT IN MEASURING FACILITY with C I body flanged construction with EPDM coated disc with long pitch with protected out pipe insulation & PN 16 pressure rating for chilled / hot water circulation as specified.

INSULATION ON EXISTING PIPE Supplying, laying/ fixing, testing and commissioning of following thickness resin bonded fiber glass pipe section insulation having density 80 kg/cum or mineral wool (non combustible) having density of 144 Kg/ cu m duly covered with a layer of 120 gm/sqm polythene sheet (vapour barrier) on existing pipe and finally applying 0.63mm aluminium sheet cladding complete with type3, grade 1 roofing feltstrip(as per IS:1322 as amended up to date) at joints etc. as per specifications and as required.

PLUMBING INSULATED CHILLED WATER PIPING (resin bonded fiber glass glass INSULATION) Supplying, laying/ fixing, testing and commissioning of following nominal sizes of chilled water piping inside the building (with necessary clamps, vibration isolators and fittings but excluding valves, strainers, gauges etc.) duly insulated with 80 kg/cum density resin bonded fiber glass or 144 Kg/ cum density mineral wool (non Combustible) pipe section insulation covered with a layer of 120 gm/sqm polythene sheet (vapour barrier) and finally applying 0.63mm aluminium sheet cladding complete with type3 , grade 1 roofing feltstrip(as per IS:1322 as amended up to date ) at joints and repairing of damage to building etc. as per specifications and as required. Note: The Pipes of sizes 150mm & below shall be M.S. 'C' class as per IS : 1239 and pipes size above 150mm shall be welded black steel pipe heavy class as per IS: 3589, from minimum 6.35mm thick M.S. Sheet for pipes upto 350 mm dia. and from minimum 7mm thick MS sheet for pipes of 400 mm dia and above.

S.I.T.C of cooling tower motor with hub & fan capacity, 5 HP, 3 phase, 960 RPM suitable for water flow rate minimum 2778 CPM, ISI mark etc. (make should be crompton grips, KEI or equivalent) complete job in all respect, as directed by engineer-in-charge.

Structural steel work riveted, bolted or welded in built up sections, trusses and framed work, including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position and applying a priming coat of approved steel primer all complete.
