Material and labour for preparing existing black top surface by brushing with wire brushed for removing caked mud etc sweeping with brooms and finally fanning to cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc from black top surface , Applying evenly a premix /tack coat with bitumen grade VG-10 @ 5.0 Kg per ten Sqm complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for providing and laying Premix Bituminous asphaltic dense concrete 30mm consolidated thickness with 5.5% binder (using paving bitumen of grade VG-30) content by weight of total mix and crushed aggregates of grading 2, mixing of agrgregates with VG-30 bitumen in electronic operated 100-120 TPH batch type hot mix plant, transporting the hot mix from HMP to work site by tippers and laying with hyrdostatic paver finisher and as per approved mix and rolled & compacted to required camber and gradient with 8 to 12 tonne smooth wheeled, vibratory and tandem roller, complete all as per Clause 507 MORTH (5th Rev) specification and as specified and as directed.

NOTES : (i). The contractor shall quotes the rate against Item considering 5.5% VG-30 bitumen content. Job Mix Formula as per CIause. No. 505.3.3 of MORTH (5th Rev) for BC shall be worked out from Thapar Insti. of Engg & Tech. Patiala/ NIT Kurukshetra/ PEC Changigarh/ CTL for obtaining Optimum Binder Content (OBC) by the Contractor without any financial effect to the Dept and same be submitted to the accepting officer for approval. Any variation in binder content on minus side shall be adjusted @ Rs 50/kg of binder and no adjustment shall be made on plus side. (ii). Cost of filler i.e. cement (Ordinary portland cement/OPC) is deemed to be included in quoted unit rate. (iii). After spreading of mix as per clause 507.4.7 entire surface during the operation shall be rolled with road roller 8-10 tonne (smooth wheeled) followed with vibratory road roller of 8-10 tonne static weight, followed by finished rolling with 6 to 8 tonne smooth wheel tendom roller as per Clause Nos. 507.4.8 and cost of the same is deemed to be included in quoted unit rate. (iv). The vintage of the T&P (Hot mix plant/road roller i.e. vidrating roller,static roller,hydraulic roller/paver) to be incorporated in the wk should not be more than 10 years except the tippers and shall be approved by GE before date of commencement of the work. (v). The certificate wrt the capactiy of the hot mix plant (HMP) shall be 100-120 TPH and the plant shall be electronic operated, batch type and location be intimlated and the same shall be approved by GE before date of commencement of the work. (vi). The distance of the HMP shall not be more than 100 KM from the Mil Stn Patiala. Detail of plant to be submitted to GE for approval before date of commencement of the work. (vii). The calibration certificate for HMP shall be submittaed by the contractor for approval of GE before date of commencement of the work which should not be more than 06 months old. (viii). The minimum 2 Road roller each (vibrating and static road roller) are required at site before commencement of the work on the groung and the same shall be approved by GE before date of commencement of the work.

Material and labour for repairs to pot holes any depth not exceeding 1.00 Sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud or water, scouring sunken surfacesin roads, path etc cutting edges at least 25 mm depth and making good by applying tack coat with bitumen @ 5 kg/X Sqm, putting in premix bituminous macadam using paving bitumen of grade VG-30 well rammed and sealed with binder @ 9.80 kg mixed with 0.09 cum of stone chippings 6.3 mm size per 10 Sqm and again well rammed including supply of premixed macadam, binder and chipings, depth of pot holes exe 30mm thick, complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for 2.00mm thick road marking thermo plastic reflective paint to be carried out mechanically with hot application of material (painting material @ 5 Kg /Sqm ) and glass beads @ 250 gm/Sqm confirming to CI No. 803.4 of MoRTH in strips of 100/150 mm width on road surfaces complete all as specified and as directed. Material and labour for 5mm thick rumble stirps as road marking with thermo plastic reflective paint to be carried out mechanically with hot application of material (painting material @ 5 Kg /Sqm for each coat of 2.5mm thick ) and glass beads @ 250 gm/Sqm for each coat of 2.5mm thick confirming to CI No. 803.4 of MoRTH in strips of any width on road surfaces complete all as specified and as directed. Supply and fixing cat eye solar reflective type of metal body alloy of size 100mm x 100mm x 20mm with PAMA striplens reflector of model No. DA 972.0 fixed with and including MS stud of suitable size as per manufactures instructions comlete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing solar cat eye aluminum alloy shall (100% water proofing design according to 65) of size 125mm x 125mm x 25mm (shank 65mm) of high efficiency Mono rystafie solar panel 2.4V/ 0.3 watt one NI-ed rechargeable battery (1.2V/ 1600MA) consisting of super bright LED with 10,000 to 18,000 mcd completed as per manufactures instructions etc.complet all as specified and as directed.

Demolition of cement concrete (unreinforced) in ground floors and pavings not exceeding 15cm (below or above level) complete all as specified all as specified and as directed .

Material and labour for laying chequered cement concrete tiles 20cm x 20cm x 25mm thick with grey cement and no pigment, set, jointed and pointed in neat cement slurry in floors laid over and including 15mm thick screed / bedding layer in cement mortar 1:4 complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for 75 mm thick cement concrete type C-2, (1:3:6) using 40mm graded stone aggregate as in sub floors,sub bases,floors and paving etc complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for laying 150 mm bore reinforced concrete pipes,class NP2, laid and jointed complete with one collar per length of pipe complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for cement concrete 1:4:8 type D-2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregates as bed to 150 mm bore drain pipes including packing under and completely surrounding pipes with concrete after they are laid and tested complete all as specified and as directed.

Demolition of existing brick edging/ kerb stones of any size/description/grade of concrete embedded in ground upto any depth complete all as specified and as directed.

Material abd labour for providing and laying at or near ground level factory made kerb stone of M-25 grade cement concrete in position to the required line, level and curvature, jointed with cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement: 3 coarse sand), including making joints with or without grooves (thickness of joints except at sharp curve shall not to more than 5 mm), including making drainage opening wherever required complete including embedding in the ground to depths indicated and tamping ground around and also for removing any surplus spoil to a distance n. exc. 50 mtrs complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for preparing new concrete surfaces of any description, not otherwise described over 10 cm width or girth and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coats of primer complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for preparing old concrete surfaces of any description, not otherwise described over 10 cm width or girth and applying one coats of synthetic enamel paint complete all as specified and as directed.

Rolling and consolidation formation surfaces in cutting with 8 to 10 tonne power roller complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour hard core of broken boulders of gauge not exceeding 63 mm depoisted spread and levelled in layers not exceding 15 cm thick water and rammed/rolled to a true surface complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for 150 mm thick cement concrete 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregates as in sub-floors, sub-base, floors and paving etc including necessary form work as required complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for stone sett flooring (Granite) stone sett of size 200 to 250 mm long, 150 mm to 200 mm wide and 150 mm deep and sides dressed; bedded in cement mortar 1:3, 20 mm thick ; joints grouted in cement mortar 1:2 with an admixture of metallic floor hardener, 5% by weight of cement and stuck flush complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for Edges stones to flooring with stone sett of size 250 to 300 mm long,150 mm to 200 mm wide and 450 mm deep and sides dressed; bedded in cement mortar 1:3, 20 mm thick ; joints grouted in cement mortar 1:2 with an admixture of metallic floor hardener, 5% by weight of cement and stuck flush complete all as specified and as directed.
