Taking out sluice gate draw shutter gearing arrangements & pedestal including refitting the same with new nuts & bolts where necessary (a) Upto 4 Sqm. (i) Taking out and refitting the same.

Taking out flap shutter of sluice gate including hoisting arrangements and refitting the same with new nuts & bolts where necessary (a) Upto 4 Sqm. (ii) Taking out only.

Earth work in excavation of foundation trenches or drains, in all sorts of soil (including mixed soil but excluding laterite or sandstone) including removing, spreading or stacking the spoils within a lead of 75 m. as directed. The item includes necessary trimming the sides of trenches, levelling, dressing and ramming the bottom, bailing out water as required complete. (a) Depth of excavation not exceeding 1,500 mm.

(b) Depth of excavation for additional depth beyond 1,500 mm. and upto 3,000 mm. but not requiring shoring.

Earth work in filling in foundation trenches or plinth with good earth, in layers not exceeding 150 mm. including watering and ramming etc. layer by layer complete. (Payment to be made on the basis of measurement of finished quantity of work) (a) With earth obtained from excavation of foundation.

Supplying, fitting, fixing Mild Steel flap shutter with Mild Steel plate of thickness as specified by the Engineer-in-charge and other necessary Mild Steel sections for sluice including fabricating the same (as per drawing and instruction given by the Engineer-in-charge) including painting with two coats of anticorrosive bituminous paint of approved make & brand over two coat of red lead primer and with necessary masonry work with all materials supply etc. complete at site.

Supplying / Replacing Gear rod by a new Mild Steel Gear rod, threaded length as required and fitting, fixing in position with screw gearing arrangement for operating the draw shutter including taking out old gear rod by cutting bolts etc. complete as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge. (The old materials to be returned to Departmental Godown.) (a) 50 mm. dia.

Supplying / Replacing Gun Metal Bush for screw gearing arrangement required for hanging arrangement of draw shutter and fitting & fixing with the screw gearing arrangement for operating the draw shutter by taking out the old screw gearing arrangement and Gun Metal bush etc. complete as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge. (The old materials to be returned to Departmental Godown.) (c) 50 mm. dia.

Supplying at site the following materials including carraige overhead charge and contractor profit IV) Long nuts & Bolts

M.S. works in brackets made from flats, angles, tees etc. to sizes specialy bent, twisted, forged; making holes drilled and fitted to rafter of trusses with necessary bolts, nuts, washer or screws etc. (length of straight not less than 230 mm)
