Excavation in trenches n exc 1.5 m wide & n exc 1.5 mtr deep in soft/lose soil for taking out pipe & laying of pipe & getting out for diverting of pipe line complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, leveling, watering & well ramming in layers n. exc 25 cm thick complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Removal of excavated soil to a distance not exc 50 m and depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.5 mtr above the starting point complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Taking down in repairs the following sizes of bore dia steel tubing and connections, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for costruction of valve chamber of brick masonry built in CM(1:4) with MS covers 3 mm thick and locking arrangement including excavaton and earth works in any type of soil PCC (1;4;8) type D2 for foundation PCC bed/coping in cement concrete (1:2:4) type B1 plastering 15 mm thick with Cm 1:4 painting with one coat of bituminous black paint on all steel surface for the following sizes chambers complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge :-

M&L for earthing in repair complete with galvanized mild steel earth plate electrode of size 60cm x 60cm x 6mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 mtr below ground level) with top edge of earth plate not less than 1.5 mtr below ground level connected to galvanized iron strip of size 32mm x 6mm as earthing lead by means of nuts, bolts, thimbles, check nuts, washers of GI or steel, PCC (concrete chamber) shall be size 300mm x 300mm x 300mm (internal dimension) using PCC 1:2:4, type B-1, using 20mm graded stone aggregate internal surface of concrete chamber shall be given 15mm thick plaster in CM 1:4, funnel with wire gauge of 22 gauge (0.68mm) 8 mesh per liner inch, 80mm thick RCC cover B-1, size 320mm x 320mm, made out with RCC 1:2:4, type B-1, using 20mm graded stone aggregate, reinforced with four Nos 8mm dia TMT bars @ 80mm centre to centre, both ways and charcoal dust and common salt all as shown in Electrical plate No 3 of SSR Part – I (2009) and specified including 40mm dia GI light grade pipe as protection pipe and watering pipe shall be 20mm bore GI medium grade including necessary excavation and earth work & connection the earthing to an earthing test point as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
